Pioneer DJM-S5 Scratch-Style 2-Channel Performance DJ Mixer

The Pioneer DJM-S5 Battle Mixer was designed from the ground up with scratching in mind, with innovative features that make scratching easier than ever. The two-channel, battle-style design features the premium-quality Magvel Fader Pro, complete with the ability to customise the feel and resistance of the crossfader. The front-panel features calibration control for the crossfader with a transparent panel which allows you to see how you adjust your crossfader. Jam-packed with powerful performance tools, the DJM-S5 is the ultimate DJ mixer for professionals. Incorporating the same layout from the flagship DJM-S11 mixer; the DJM-S5 features two large effects levers complete with 57 effects (in Serato DJ Pro). These versatile levers allow you to control your effects by holding them down or releasing the paddles. There are also eight performance pads (four on each channel) with the choice of 13 pad modes including Hot Cue and Sampler. You can use the pads to trigger samples and sound FX over and even create live remixes by incorporating drum samples and more. One of the most unique new features is the 'Scratch Cutter'. Featuring six cutting patterns, you can use the Scratch Cutter to apply automated cutting effects to music. It works by choosing one of the cutting patterns, using the effect lever and moving your jog wheels (or control vinyl) back and forth to trigger the cutting patterns. This allows you to emulate the pros and build up your scratching abilities. Featuring a distinctive red/black gloss finish and USB bus power; the DJM-S5 is the ultimate mixer for any DJ - from the stage to the studio.
