The DJM-S5 brings professional scratch mixing within reach of aspiring battle DJs and seasoned turntablists alike, featuring the acclaimed MAGVEL FADER PRO crossfader with customisable Feeling Adjust technology. This innovative 2-channel mixer allows you to fine-tune the crossfader's resistance to match your preferred scratch style, while its robust vertical mounting ensures it can withstand the most energetic scratch techniques. The mixer unlocks the full potential of Serato DJ Pro, giving you access to up to 57 effects controlled through two large effect levers that match the flagship DJM-S11 in size and functionality. Creative expression comes naturally with 13 pad modes including Hot Cue and Sampler, accessible through four 20.6mm Performance Pads on each deck. The built-in Scratch Cutter function makes learning to scratch accessible for beginners by automatically applying cutting effects to six different patterns as you move the control vinyl or jog wheel. Advanced features like Crossfader Hot Cue allow experienced DJs to create scratch-like sounds by triggering samples through crossfader movement, opening up new creative possibilities for live performance. As Pioneer DJ's first USB-powered mixer, the DJM-S5 offers unprecedented portability without compromising on sound quality, producing bright, wide-ranging audio that suits all music genres. The mixer functions both as a Serato controller and standalone unit, accommodating various sources including analogue vinyl records. With comprehensive connectivity including XLR/combo mic input, dual USB Type-C ports, and multiple output options, this mixer provides professional flexibility for practice sessions and live performances anywhere you can set up your decks.
