I have always run Sport Touring Tires on my Speed Triple 1200RS but decided to take it to a much higher level with a true proper Super Sport set of tires. What a fantastic result. The Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa's truly transitioned my moto into a significantly higher level/riding experience. Completely confidence inspiring I have never run faster or had as much fun while visiting the Deals Gap area of North Carolina. I will be a repeat buyer.

I put a set of these on my 05 GSX-R 600 over the weekend and rode for about 6 hours Sunday to scrub them in, and right out of the gate I noticed a HUGE difference over the Q3+'s I pulled off and put on my 05 Ninja ZX-6RR, which handled WAY better on them than the GSX-R did. As soon as I left my friend's neighborhood where the bike was taken apart at, there is a 90-degree corner I forgot about, and came in a little too hot and they didn't care. The bike rolled around it like it was nothing, just like it did every other corner I threw it around. Corners I was used to taking at 50-60 due to the age of the Q3's I took off, I was slinging around at 70-80 like it was on rails. Made a couple of speed runs down some twisty backroads with a variety of corners and didn't have the first slip or hiccup. They literally just want to fall into the corners. At higher speeds, you can't ask for more stability and to be more smooth than you are on these tires. DEFINATELY a confidence booster for sure, and I'm switching to Team Pirelli for sure after these. Worth every penny and then some. Will definitely be buying a set for the ZX-6RR, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, sticky street tire.

on a DRZ400SM with engine mods. Great tire but a few thoughts, it needs a mile or two, 5 minutes or so to get grippy but once its there it inspires confidence. Great shape, turn in feels good, no unexpected slippage unless you are asking for it. Does well enough in rain but I never push too hard in wet. I ride my bikes as if they were stolen, this tire is up to the task. Mileage ? eh, seems okay but I worry about grip, not mileage and mpg and all that. Even at full tilt, good grip, wheelies out of the turns with ease.

I decided to try the Diablo Rosso IV Corsa for a track day at COTA. It was my first time riding there so I wasn't very fast, but the tire held up to everything I and my GSX-R750 dished out.It started out pretty cold with wet patches in the morning and the tire only slipped once when I got way too greedy with the throttle while still leaned over going right over a big wet patch exiting Turn 11.As the day warmed up the tire just got better.I don't really know about tread life as I only have one day riding on it, but I've had some tires with obvious wear after one day before and this still looks great.
I recently picked up a 2018 Aprilia RSV4 - previous owner had a set of Rosso4's on there, still pretty new by the time I picked it up. Only rode ~80 miles around town and local roads before getting a hang for the Rosso4's characteristics. Then recently did a couple track days on a very hot weekend - gave me the full spectrum of what these tires are all about.- Around town and back roads : Super grip, seems the tread pattern can take on some serious road debris/moisture without noticing. Stable, taller-feeling tire that yields a good dive once leaning in. Braking performance on street was phenomenal.- On track 1 1/2 days in 90+degree weather: The taller profile made the bike feel incredibly nimble on a technical track. Braking performance on street was phenomenal.- On track 1 1/2 days in 90+degree weather: The taller profile made the bike feel incredibly nimble on a technical track. Had a bit of a battle between finding the right tire pressure as the track heated up felt right late-morning into early afternoon, but as the track really started heating up, I couldn't find a pressure that gave me the same confidence that I had in previous sessions. The front tire started to feel very greasy and slide on me more mid-corner, a couple times making me think I was about to drop the bike. It recovered well from the slides without a jolt, but it worried me enough that I called it quits halfway through day 2.I think these are excellent street tires, and pretty damn good casual track day tires too. The tread wear after ripping on them on track with 200+ horsepower seemed to still be in pretty decent shape - a good sign that they have good life. They heat up quickly and hold temperature nicely, but as I said be cautious on super hot days at track - these will take you surfing through 50% of your turns.
Fantastic tires with exceptional grip & handling; just don't expect a lot of miles out of them on high-HP bikes. For the street, these are undoubtedly overkill, but they came as OEM tires on my Streetfighter V4 SP, so for now, I will stick with them, but will probably step down to the regular Rosso's in the hope of getting a few more miles. With about 500 miles of aggressive canyon riding, the rear looks like it *may* last 1500.
Why I don't recommend this tire:This tire does literally everything I want in a tire. I won't be buying it again though. The problem is with a sport tire I need to be able to actually buy it. Revzilla is great but Pirelli will randomly have these immense backorders on common sizes that last 3+ months here in the US. They'll have plenty of stock in Europe but won't even give you an ETA on when tires are available here. Last time I tried to order tires I had to settle for buying new old stock elsewhere because these where on backorder and wasn't going to pass tech without new rear rubber. It's two months later and they're still on national backorder. I wanted to run 120/60s up front and those have been on backorder since July (it's December) so ran 120/70s. I understand that's an oddball size but 160/60 is common enough and Bridgestone, Dunlop, and Michelin don't seem to have difficulty keeping Revzilla stocked up with tires in this size.
These are now mounted on my Suzuki GSXR 750. I am an intermediate level rider who is fortunate to ride thru very curvy roads to and from work daily. I use these curves everyday to improve my skills when possible. I have run the Battlax Bt014, Bt016's and never felt comfortable on them. I tried the Road 5's next and loved those tires...especially in rain...but i always struggled to get aggressive enough to ride on the outside slick band. I could feel the lower grip levels you have to pass over before you get to the slick. I swapped to the Dunlop Q3+ and fell in love with those tires. However, I felt like over the heating cycles...the tires started to feel different and gave me a little slippage on fast turns like on and off ramps. My Busa has the Rosso III's and I am scrapping pegs on that bike...so I decided to try the Rosso IV's on my 750. I have about 300 miles on them and my bike is holding lines I have never been able to take with any of the other tires and have added about 4 - 6 miles per hour to my entry speed on hard 90 degree turns I take daily. I don't think I have the ability to out perform these tires...I feel absolutely confident that these tires can out perform any tire I have run and also out perform me.
Outstanding grip, and just like the Rosso Corsa II, warms up very quickly. I got the Rosso IV Corsa front to replace my Diablo Rosso Corsa II, which has been discontinued. Pirelli has the worst product naming ever, but my understanding is that despite the misleading name, the Rosso IV Corsa has replaced the Rosso Corsa II. I plan to buy the IV for my rear as well once the Corsa II is toast.Use it in canyon rides with pretty aggressive lean angles (in the dry only--haven't experience the wet).Super confidence inspiring tire, although the profile feels slightly different from the Corsa II. Can't comment on wear except that the Corsa IIs had poor longevity--I'm expecting the same short life from the IV Corsa. I'm running it at 31 or 32 in the canyons (very hot Cali ... MoreOutstanding grip, and just like the Rosso Corsa II, warms up very quickly.
