I absolutely love the color combo on this pen. It really pops. The broad nib highlights ink properties very well and produces a medium broad line. Nothing super thick or thin, just perfect. My other 3776 pens have a medium nib that write very similar to my Montblanc fine nibs. There is nothing wrong with the Platinum medium nibs, I have simply preferred thicker lines as of late. I have used this pen in my rotation and sometimes it doesn't get touched for 2-3 weeks. When I uncap it, it still writes perfectly. No drying out or hard starts.

Everything from the gold to the blue to the nib and the shape is gorgeous on this pen. Very well balanced aesthetic that is interesting without being ostentatious. The UEF nib is a truly unique factory nib, and the Platinum nibs are fast becoming some of my favorite nibs. I have their Music nib that I really like, and the UEF doesn't disappoint either. This was my grail pen. I wanted a pen that was the perfect shade of green, with gold trim and a gold nib. This was it. The green is dark, but not so dark that you can't tell it is green. It's dark enough that you cannot clearly see the pen's inner workings, but translucent enough to catch light just right. I LOVE Platinum nibs. I have a Procyon and a Curidas and I love them both. The fine gold nib does not disappoint. I don't get any line variation, but that's okay, I don't want any. It writes dry, so no smearing, blobs instead of closed-loop letters, or anything distracting to deal with. It works well with some of my wetter inks, particularly the ones that are messy in wetter pens. As always, it was packed with a slightly ridiculous amount of care, a Tootsie Pop ... The pen writes very nicely. The gold nib does what I hoped it would do: create a flexible and satisfying writing experience. That said, the look of the body of the pen is...somewhat disappointing. Yes, I saw on the website the closeup photos of it, so I knew what I was getting. Once in hand, though, it looks kinda like a cheap semi-clear plastic. A lovely color, but it just doesn't look like it should've cost +$200. The gold trim, yes, I get that; it's lovely. And, again, I acknowledge I'm paying for the gold nib. It's just the overall feeling of value I like to have a little better than this, for spending that much (quite a lot for me) on a pen.
Thanks bharath for promptly answering my queries. I ordered this pen along with pilot sterling silver and sailor 1911L ( from william penn ).Unlike pilot this is not that smooth and silky to write , it doesn't have that scratchy feedback like sailor nibs. Overall I found it to be pretty ordinary pen , not worth 20k.Put in some more money to get either pilot or sailor nibs
On uncapping, the pen writes instantly and smoothly with noticeable feedback that I like (some people prefer nibs with little or no feedback, but I don't). The fine nib is VERY fine compared to the Lamy Al-Star's fine (apparently this is typical of Japanese vs European nibs) and I needed a couple of days to get used to it; now, however, I prefer it on most papers (like Tomoe River). The cap's threading feels nicely definite, and the last quarter turn as it engages the 'slip-and-seal' mechanism has a satisfying certainty I doubt there's any chance of it accidentally unscrewing and that final feel removes any temptation to overtighten.
