Worked well out of the box. Easy to setup. Awesome addition to Arizona Sunshine! Tracking could use some improvement. Had to recalibrate multiple times. Unsure if it’s a controller, camera, or game issue but it still worked very well. Game tip: Don’t keep your gun up the whole time. Killed my arms/shoulders first couple of games. Haha.

It arrived late, the box was ripped, didnt come in an official box, just thrown into a cardboard one but it did come with the Fireteam game that I wasn’t expecting. The devoce itself seems fine, my kid played with it and it connected to my PS5 fine.

The Aim Controller was out of stock here in the US and so I ordered one directly from Japan. The price was high, but it included free shipping. I got the Aim Controller a few weeks after ordering and it did not disappoint. Playing FarPoint with it is sheer bliss, you feel like you are in the action, much more than a typical FPS in 2D. If you have PSVR and have even a passing interest in FPS games, then this is a must buy.
I wasnt sure if this would really be that much of an improvement on just using the dual shock, since I've played in VR a lot, and once you're used to it the immersion factor just isnt as good anymore anyway. But I did some research because I wanted to try this for Farpoint, and most people seem to think that Farpoint isnt even worth playing without the Aim controller. After playing with both the Dualshock and the Aim, I can absolutely confirm this. This controller is make or break. Its THAT good! It seems a little pricey, but you're getting what you pay for.The controller feels incredibly durable and made of good material. All the buttons are there, including 2 R1 buttons for left/right handed people, it's got 2 sticks, a D-pad, AND all the face buttons. The layout was very carefully thought out, and it feels wonderfully intuitive to play with!If you plan to buy or already own any of the supported games, stop considering it and buy this controller!!! You'll definitely appreciate it!
The games that it can comply with, are truly enhanced, with this item. So much more immersive and I did not think that possible. In game' holding the weapon of choice in front of yourself and being able to lean down to take a look through the sights. As a young whipper Snapper (sad but true. I am nearly 60), playing Doom and such like. This would have seamed to be an unreal possibility. I am like a child and thoroughly enjoy being so. I would recommend that anyone with this game system and compatible game/s, to purchase one.
Had to go through the hassle of buying one from Japan thanks to basically no stores in Australia having stock literally 8 weeks or so after launch. EbGames told me it was 'discontinued'. The annoying part is after playing FarPoint and knowing there's maybe 4 other games out or nearly coming soon that are/will be compatible, I have to wonder if this controller is already obsolete! Considering hype over 6 months or more about its release, that would be total joke frankly. Guess we'll find out in due course!
Sadly, it’s just really not worth the “cost of admission”. Sure, it enhances the experience of the small amount of games it works with. But in all honesty, spend your money on another game instead and you will feel a much better sense of fulfillment and value!
Works extremely well for game like Farpoint, Doom vr and Firewall Zero Hour. It takes getting used to at first for those not used to VR or gun controller models but once you play around with the controls it's a must have for the before mentioned games.It has every button available on a regular DS4 controller, I have a bit of an issue pressing the R1 button myself but that's because I'm left handed, right handed users may have issues pressing the R2.I definitely recommend buying this if you are planning to get into VR.If this isn't already compatible with PC VR games then they should really consider making this compatible with PC VR games because it works very well for FPS shooters.
Very disappointed when i went and picked up my package only to find it doesn't have the game in it. Take the bundle picture off if its not included. Very misleading, this is not the first time this has happened with a purchase from Walmart. I will be taking my business somewhere else.
