I first started using POSCA pens years years ago, have never found a similar pen that lasts as long as these. They are easy to use, a quick minute the paint is ready to go. They have a wide range of colours, now even doing a pastel range. The pens come in a few different sizes, this one the largest so far (I believe). The pen writes well, doesn't bleed or go through paper. As soon as it is dry, you can touch it not rub off onto your skin. These markers are perfect for art, projects or anything that you can think of.

I have used many different types of paint markers and they all have seemed to work well when I first open them. Unfortunately shortly after their first use, they either leak and make a mess of what I am working on or just don’t put out enough ink and they have to be thrown away. I have watched many videos online of sign making and saw the podcast brand used. I decided to try them out! All I have to say is wow! I went back to Michaels and used my coupon and bought another set with a different tip size. It makes my sign making much easier not to have to spend more time trying to get the ink on my board, and play around the with the pen to make it work properly! Posca had definitely helped to make my designs more enjoyable! Thank you POSCA!

It's a sharp learning curve when you start using paint pens. It's sometimes difficult to buy the product you need, so you buy what you think you can afford. I wasted a fortune trying to save money on paint pens. Posca is the only brand I've found to be consistently reliable. I've researched them all. I've tried them all.Posca fluro pink is outstanding. I just wish there was a 1m. I have hundreds of poscas now. I don't experiment with new brands any more. And now I've found Colourverse and their AMAZING price and service I know I can rely on them. Be careful not to waste money by trying to save money. These products are what you need to do what you're dreaming of. Photo is the same painting with and without uv. 90cmx60cm @funkyfurniturebyjaq

I’ve used these markers a few times on designs and signs that I have created on wood panels, Mainly for outlining and small text or graphics when a brush isn’t practical. They do the job but have a few quirks one needs to watch out for. Occasionally they will drop a blob of paint and flow quickly, sometimes they will “flick” a fine spray when drawing and they are not the best for a second coat as the marker occasionally will remove paint from the previous coat and then cake and leave dry pieces. It’s best if you can use it for just one coat. I have used polycyclic spray over finished pieces with no issues.
I'm a beginner in water coloring and doodling. I bought my first uni posca pens white and gold and loving them because of how the ink looks nicely over watercolor and also use it as a coloring pen. The problem I had as a first time uni posca pen user was I didn't know how to correctly make the pens work when I opened them. Both colors were not working so I followed the the illustrated instructions on the body of pens but still didn't work so I decided to go back to Michael's and exhange them. If someone showed me how to make them work by patiently shaking and gently pressing the tip of pen on paper until the ink comes down on tip of pen I wouldn't have had to exchange them. Hope this would help someone. After all the pens are great and Michael's is awesome!
Love the color. Not nearly as much life as the sharpie oil based paint markers. I’ve done wall murals with Sharpie paint markers before and they last a lot longer and you can buy the colors you need separately. With this brand, you have to buy the whole pack. 4 packs in and I’m not nearly done. If you’ve got a big project like this, go with Sharpie. Otherwise, it’s a great product. It’s water based so it comes off your hands a lot easier
Very pleased so far with results of these markers. Using them to paint on jeans and Teeshirts. Easy bright colors . Painting on blue jeans I needed to do first coat of white (acrylic tube) paint and let that dry. The posca pens needed are not as opaque as I thought they would be. Have used them for four days that included a large area of painting. So glad that I purchased them. Want the larger tips next. Recommend watching YouTube tutorials on how to care for pens and techniques
I have been using POSCA paint pens for a few years now and they are incredibly versatile! I’ve had success using them on canvas, all types of paper, on resin (cured), on fabrics, on glass, over watercolours, on metals snd I’m sure there are plenty of other ways to use them that I am yet to discover. The pens basically draw like regular markers but keep their colour/opacity and can draw on a greater range of surfaces. You may need to seal the pen to ensure it doesn’t rub off or scratch, this really depends on the surface you apply it to. I think they may have improved the pen designs as these nibs were much nicer than the ones I purchased years ago, the nib is more precise (so creating intricate designs is much easier), the paint flows better and it’s easier to prep ... MoreI have been using POSCA paint pens for a few years now and they are incredibly versatile! I think they may have improved the pen designs as these nibs were much nicer than the ones I purchased years ago, the nib is more precise (so creating intricate designs is much easier), the paint flows better and it’s easier to prep them. The pens take a small amount of prep to use for the first time which involves shaking the pens to get the little metal ball rolling, you press and hold the nib against a hard surface to get the paint flowing and then you are basically good to go. Pens can go dry over time and may simply require a few good shakes and to press the nib against a hard surface again, or you may need to remove the whole nib to clean it before it will work again.
I purchased half a dozen before the holidays as I paint storefront/restaurant and residential windows for any holiday. Usually using a different product which became difficult to locate in colors needed, I decided to try a 'new to me' product, hence POSCA.The colors went on smoothly, like butter, they were vibrant, colors standing out against the dark glass of the storefronts as hoped! They were quite easy to remove, however did leave an opaque film that was also easy to remove although it did take 3-5 complete cleanings to achieve a perfectly clear glass as needed. I didn't really expect the colors to blend, and they did not if that's what you need, however I don't think people usually think of using these on glass (I usually use Permanent Oil Markers so I don't ... MoreI purchased half a dozen before the holidays as I paint storefront/restaurant and residential windows for any holiday. I didn't really expect the colors to blend, and they did not if that's what you need, however I don't think people usually think of using these on glass (I usually use Permanent Oil Markers so I don't have to worry about the rain removing the artwork, or vandalls for that matter.) for any length of time at least.Overall, price to product is generally a good value, especially if coupons are utilized with purchase. In this case I feel the markers are a bit expensive for the actual liquid (paint) in the marker for it's price. However I was pleased with all the colors I purchased with one exception and that was the Jumbo SILVER. Unfortunately I purchased the largest size possible then didn't use it at all. The silver went on smoothly as they all did, but the color coming out was not blended at all and came out in streaks. I was forced to remove and redo anything I touched with silver marker.Passerbys could have easily marked this artwork with their fingers...luckily they didn't!Overall a four star rating 5 stars could have been achieved if it took less time for cleanup on glass. I will use this product again in the future!
Got these during a sale. I tried the black 3m and 1m out on my polymer clay, sculpey. And it works!I tested using already baked clay. First piece, I let it sit overnight with paint on it. Next day, I applied the varnish and it still smeared the black paint.Second piece, after applying paint, I rebaked in the oven for 10 min. Let it cool down. Then applied varnish. Paint DID NOT SMEAR this time. I even applied the varnish light and heavy. Paint stayed intact. So the trick is to rebake the clay after painting. I put wax paper under mine just in case (I use tiles for baking).
