Power Scrub Elite Pet Plus

We purchased this when we got married because our puppy was already hard on the carpets and we planned to get another dog and it was worth every penny. We use this on a regular basis to get up puppy accidents on the floors, puppy vomit when he eats toy parts, etc. It also came in REALLY handy when we had a minor plumbing incident and a pipe partially flooded our bathroom. This is not too heavy to move around as you clean and it really does seem to get things up and out of the carpets effectively. I would highly recommend trying this!

Won this in a auction for a lower price. The first time we used this in our new apartment was shocked how deep down this cleaned. We agreed to clean before we moved in. This really helped get it clean and worked fantastic.

A NO name, low cost, beast of a carpet cleaner!

This carpet scrubber is a beast. It has cleaned my rugs and those in my daughters home. It has brought out the natural color and pile of the carpet. The instructions are easy to follow and make this daunting task a pleasurable outcome. For the cost of this scrubber, it cleans, far better that a commercial rental.

Carpet shampooer that works wonders

I bought this shampooer because of the power scrub they advertised. I have 2 dogs and my carpet gets dirty quickly. This shampooer is excellent. Lightweight, easy to use( even the attachments). I highly recommend this product. I even bought one for my son that has 2 dogs. After I was done I saw dog hair in the clear vacuum shield in the front. There is a grey switch to take it off and clean that also.

Great performance--Great value

I had a severe clean-up problem after a very sick dog. This cleaner was fantastic! I particularly liked the double tank so that already soiled water never hit the carpet. The rinse option is great too. I highly recommend this product. It performs way beyond its price range. In short--great value, great performance.

Great vacuum cleaner for pet hair

This is definitely not lightweight. But the "floor sense" technology is awesome to go from carpet to hard floors. Nice bright light on the front of the head of the machine, which also swivels easily to fit into smaller spaces. I actually vacuumed my entire carpet with my old vacuum before trying this one. I was amazed at how many cylinders full of dirt I was able to get up with this thing!

Not a happy experience

While this cleaner allows more access to more places than my old one did, when trying to clean it out, I can find no way to empty out the tube from the cleaning solution tank to the sprayer nozzle. I can see the water inside. This prevents me from storing it in my garage where it might freeze. It also might promote mold growth inside the tube, clogging it. And all of the miscellaneous parts have nooks and crannies where pet hair sticks and can't be reached for cleaning out. Really, why doesn't a simple dirty water tank work? Does it need all those convoluted twists and turns inside? I followed the directions specifically. Quality Rug Scrubber

I used this well built machine for the first time last week and it did a wonderful job removing the mud and dirt that the dogs and I have tracked into the house. I tried it on the quick clean setting which really did get a great deal of nasty dirt and dried as quickly as they said it would, about 2 hours. The assembly process is fast and easy to follow and the machine is simple to use. I especially like having a separate tank for the cleaning liquid as it made the process a tad bit shorter, as opposed to my older model Hoover rug scrubber, without a separate detergent tank. I'm very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this Hoover product

Works fine but has a couple of drawbacks.

This is the third or fourth steam cleaner I have had, it seems like after a few years and maybe only being used 3-4 times a year they all start to leak (dirty) water or the suction stops. I usually buy the lift off ones to make stair cleaning easier, as far as I can tell you have to drag this whole thing up the stairs as you go so that is why it lost half of 1 star. The other loss of half a star is because when you get this thing filled with water it becomes top heavy and the downward pressure is pretty great. On the lift off types the clean water and dirty water are both on the wheels and not attached to the handle like this one is. After reading the reviews I dicided to try this one for its cleaning capabilities and to see if I could get some of the older stains out of my carpet from kids, dogs and husbands. I can really say it didnt do any better of worse than any of the previous ones, it did not get any of the older stains out, maybe lifed them a little but not much noticible difference. I used the small bottle of enclosed carpet cleaner and it seemed like it made my carpets a little stiffer and not softto walk on. I usually add a few drops of fabric softener to the water to help prevent that but I did not do it this time since I wanted to see how well this cleaner did. Overall this machine is acceptable, we shall see in a few years if it too starts to leak water! I am about ready to either move out of this house or get hardwood flooring that would be easier to take care of anyway so if it lasts several years I will feel like I have gotten my moneys worth.

Works great!

I was shocked at how well this worked. My dogs track mud in on the carport from the fenced in back yard. I planned on having a professional come clean the carpets but saw the ad for this cleaner and thought I would try it. Totally amazing how good the carpet looks and how much dirt was in the dirty water tank.
