Top notes are Pear, Tangerine and Bergamot; middle notes are Orange Blossom, Neroli Essence, Neroli and Jasmine Sambac; base notes are Bourbon Vanilla, Amber, White Musk and Benzoin. This sounds like a complex fragrance with more bright juicy top notes. This definitely smells more floral and spicy and I detect very minimal amounts of the citrus or pear. I get more vanilla in the dry down. Let me be clear- this isn’t an unpleasant scent by any means. Any time we’re in the business of florals and musks, I’m usually sold. However, I think the Amber accord here just takes this tried and true combination to a whole new level. What I think of as I smell this perfume on my wrists: handbags that cost more than my rent, a phone case for every occasion, and sunglasses worth $25,000 (bonus points if you get that last reference). I was so excited to receive a full sized bottle of Prada Paradoxe Intense eau de parfum in 1.7 oz size from Influenster in exchange for my review.I feel like I am a bit selective when choosing fragrances, especially given the high cost of so many out there. Most seem to have either a musky or powdery undertone that I dislike, even when the notes sound appealing to me. I usually prefer floral and citrusy scents, and was very pleasantly surprised to find a new scent that I love.This fragrance is said to have notes of Jasmine flower, Amber accord and moss accord. You can just tell this is quality.The smell at first is slightly fruity and a little powdery but the powdery goes away after it dries down and smells more floral with vanilla and amber and hints of citrus. The top note is definitely very overwhelmingly floral, maybe a little too much for my liking. The scent is VERY strong for hours. Even 24 hours later there’s still faint smell left and almost like it better when it’s not as strong.Second time using it I held the bottle much farther back to not be as overpowering and liked it much better.
