I have the ProGrade VFE cards which work flawlessly with my camera. I needed a SDXC card, so I figured ProGrade would work just as well in SDXC form. Wrong. Every first image shot was corrupt no matter what I did. Checked with Nikon and they told me to get a card that was on their compatibility list and viola! It works! This is in no way derogatory towards ProGrade, it was my own fault and in no way a fault of ProGrade or their quality.

Excellent - work as expected. For my own satisfaction, did a non-scientific comparison of these cards against my current Sandisk Extreme Pro 512Gb cards (170Mbps). Using 2 Canon R5 and shooting electronic shutter, I tested to see which body could complete a full cycle quicker (as in, shoot continuously until the buffer is full and then see which clears first).I found the Prograde cards could complete two full cycles before the Sandisk could complete one.So not an unexpected result, but nice to confirm that the UHS-II cards are substantially faster in real-world use.

Recently updated from an old slow Sony card I had and what a difference! I have been using it in my Sony a7iii and love it so far. I shoot landscapes so speed is not super important to me on the camera but it is nice to have when I opt for wildlife shots. Also, the transfer speed when copying files to my laptop is much faster. This is my first ProGrade card and bought it after reading a lot of reviews. I haven't had it that long so I can't comment on the durability but so far its been great.

Fantastic quality! Worth the upgrade!
31 May 2024

I recently had to switch from SanDisk after many years, as their quality has really gone downhill and I had several recommendations to switch to ProGrade. My Nikon Z8 was overheating while shooting events, so I switched both my SD and CFX B to the ProGrade cobalt series, and it was worth every penny. No more overheating, and transfer speeds are much more consistent. I will definitely be buying more in the future.

Fast, Cool, Reliable
4 September 2024

Formatted with a Nikon Z8, the R/W speeds of these SD cards are plenty fast for burst shooting. Black Magic’s Disk Speed Test reveals nearly 250MB/s sustained read and write speeds in the SD slot of my 2023 MacBook Pro. Burst write speeds (1GB) of nearly 400MB/s are repeatedly attained, which more closely reflects my real-world use in the Z8. Never had a problem with the ProGrade line, and the Cobalts run cool in the Z8.

Great Quality SD Card, Bye-bye SanDisk
27 April 2024

I purchased the 512GB V90 SD card for my Canon EOS R8 camera. I must say so far I'm very impressed with the quality of my videos. No frame rate lag, no lost data, nothing but smooth recording. I shot in both 1080p 60fps and 4K 60fps and the video footage is so crisp, clear, and beautiful. Before this card, I was using the SanDisk 256GB V90 SD card and I must say the quality isn't really there like with the ProGrade cards (especially for the ridiculous prices of SanDisk's V90 cards). I've been loyal to SanDisk for a long time, but I was looking for a 512GB V90 card and I didn't want to pay $699.99 plus tax so that's when I tried this brand. Needless to say I'll definitely be buying more cards from this brand.

Shot HEVC UHD video with no glitches or stutter
15 August 2024

I'd been a bit wary buying these because of the high cost, and not knowing the brand well despite the positive reviews. Having done that, I have to say they performed as well, if not better, than advertised.I shot a full half-hour video on each one, and it all worked out brilliantly. I have no complaints and a lot of praise, and I'm starting to look askance at my current group of Lexar and Delkin SD cards for UHD (erroneously called 4K though it's a bit lower-res) video.

Works great on the FX6!
12 December 2022

I finally received my FX6 a few months ago after purchasing it in December 2021.It is a great camera but requires faster cards for higher bit-rate codecs. The CF-Express Type A cards are very expensive and have smaller capacities, so I needed a middle ground for media.4K24p - 240 MBPS or 30 MB/s4K60p - 600 MBPS or 75 MB/S4K120P - I can't find the specifications for this mode.In the FX6, you consistently get a warning of Not recommended media. Anytime you get to 4K60 or 4K120p, you have the potential for the camera to stop recording or corrupt the cards. I was filming in 4K60p at a wedding with a V30 card, and the camera stopped twice that day. For testing, I dual recorded at 4K120p until the cards got full to see if there would be any issues. I'm happy to say that the cards held up to the test.

Wort Brand I've Ever Used in a Very Long Time
19 May 2020

After a lot of research I purchased the Pro Grade 256GB V90 SD Card and Pro Grade Dual slot SD card Reader. The main reason for these purchases was to lower the amount of time spent downloading footage as I am a wedding Videographer and I usually have to transfer about 150 GB of footage after a days shoot which can be a very long time especially if you have to back that footage up several times. Just after receiving the Prograde SD card that day I tested it out using my Sony A7Sii, Sony 6500, and Sony 6400 all the footage would freeze for 30 sec then play through for 4 sec and repeat this processes during playback of the video files. I contacted Prograde were they attempted to diagnose the problem but ultimately suggested I return it for a replacement for no charge ... MoreAfter a lot of research I purchased the Pro Grade 256GB V90 SD Card and Pro Grade Dual slot SD card Reader. Just after receiving the Prograde SD card that day I tested it out using my Sony A7Sii, Sony 6500, and Sony 6400 all the footage would freeze for 30 sec then play through for 4 sec and repeat this processes during playback of the video files. I contacted Prograde were they attempted to diagnose the problem but ultimately suggested I return it for a replacement for no charge other than paying for shipping to there location in California. After 3 months of use on the Prograde Dual Slot SD card reader after a it would register that it was disconnected from the computer at random times, this happened in a lot of separate occasions and evn when it was transferring files. I thought it might be the connection/ port it was plugged into, but after testing and getting the same results on all of the ports on my desktop and even my laptop I had my SD card reader returned paying for the shipping to send it out. Now after recieving the second SD card that was resent out to me I attempted to record a time lapse and while transferring the image files (50 files in total) it took 5 min! To give you some perspective you could transfer those file on the cheapest SD card in 10- 15 seconds without a problem, but that is actually the least of my issues because after inspecting the files 2 or 3 of those Pictures are ruined and disfigured, and Pixilized I unloaded 3 pictures from another seprate test from some images. I originally thought that it was something to do with the shutter but after I tested the same time lapse using a San Disc SD card (a much cheaper one) and while after taking a 100 photos in a row with no issues. It might not seem like an issue to have 2 or 3 of the 50 images fail but reliability is everything, and I am paying a premium price for a unreliable products. Oh and while this is happening Pro Grade had written the wrong shipping address to send the SD card reader to me which resulted in waiting an extra 3 weeks to recieve it. I understand that you might receive a bad product every now and then and to the credit of Pro Grade they allowed both my returns and shipped me 2 new products. Unfortunately I am no longer able to send the second SD card for a refund because of how long it took to send it out and receive the previous one (resulting in me losing $330 dollars for the SD card and approximately $35 I have lost for shipping the returned items to add insult to injury. Not to mention 2 month's waiting for the products to be received due to failure's in writing the correct shipping address on their part. I have lost all confidence in this brand entirely, even if I were to receive another SD card for free from them! I had 3 out of 3 failures with their products, not to mention that If the same problems I had experienced happened filming for one of my client's it would be catastrophic, and having to tell a bride that the footage of her wedding is now ruined because of the SD card I used to record it on is faulty. I really wanted to love this product.

Wow!
8 August 2024

The slim build makes the aerodynamics very impressive. This is especially important due to the extremely high speed performance of these SD cards. The color scheme may or may not deflect all known radar and detection systems currently known to man. This level of stealth combined with the mindboggling speed of these SD cards just may aid in getting through TSA checkpoints much quicker and with less hassle than one would without them. This is just one reason of many to purchase these SD cards.
