Awesome set of racks, black version suits my vehicle beautifully. Just make sure you get the correct fitting kit, installation fairly straightforward, solid bit of kit

Went together quite well after obtaining a fitting kit. The instructions need a refinement though.

I was very pleased to have purchased these roof racks on sale = good quality at a very reasonable price. I also noted that I needed the addition of a mounting kit, which I also purchased. The assembly was the most tricky part. As my late father often said 'production engineers should be made to work on and/or assemble their own designs'. Access to some of the bolts and screws was difficult, especially if you were relying solely on the tools provided. Eventually, it did all come together, but at times the air around me was pretty blue!

Great rack, very sturdy and the over hang with the extra tie down points on the ends are very handy and convenient. They do make a bit of noise when driving over 80 but that was expected.Beware though, you will need to purchase the mounting kit separately (around $60-$80) and may be difficult to locate depending on the car you have. I needed a mounting kit for a honda hrv which was out of stock everywhere. Was lucky to find one place that had one left, but ended up costing me $100. So lesson is, before you purchase the racks, do your research and locate the mounting kit and make sure its in stock and add up the price for both the racks and mounting kit before purchasing. Use the prorack website to find out what mounting kit you will need for your car.First time ... MoreGreat rack, very sturdy and the over hang with the extra tie down points on the ends are very handy and convenient. Once you get them on though they are a piece of cake taking off and on.Racks mounted on a Honda HRV VTI-L 2015.
I think the other reviews are from people that are a bit stupid? I work in IT and I didn't find them difficult to assemble. Literally 4 screws and 4 brackets that are identical. You put the bar on put a screw in both sides. The sort of thing you did as a kid with mechano.... I think even just experience with Lego would be enough to figure these out.
Great texture and weight rating. The metal bars at the end of the rack make tying things to it much easier. A little expensive once you buy the installation kit, but worth it, and not too hard to set up.
Bought these for our 2011 dual cab hilux , made sure we got correct fitting brackets for our Ute ( had the lovely lady at Capalaba triple check ) to getting it home and hubby starting to fit . These do not fit snug on the roof as stated or shown . He tried several times but the mounting bracket doesn’t allow any other way to position on roof . As per attached photos you will see that the foot doesnt sit flush its on an angle as that’s the way the bracket pulls it . Won’t sit down flush in the recess channel as we thought it would . And thank you to the lovely lady at the Cleveland store also for helping to try and rectify the problem ( which we couldn’t ) yes we kept them but not happy with the way they sit .Maybe you will have to look at making a different clamp ... MoreBought these for our 2011 dual cab hilux , made sure we got correct fitting brackets for our Ute ( had the lovely lady at Capalaba triple check ) to getting it home and hubby starting to fit . The racks are made from high-quality materials and feature a black powder-coated finish that provides added durability and protection against the elements. This helps me During over night camping trips in Harsh weather condition
Pretty good roof racks once applied. Quite fiddly and time consuming to put together and fit. Large gap between roof and rack so not very aerodynamic.
These are good quality does the job. The guys at sca were very helpful and after purchasing these I found a competitor had them for even cheaper and sca were able to price match! Awesome!

Prorack 120cm HD Bar Black Pair T16B
Driving even a short distance with a set of singing roof racks fixed to your vehicle can be a headache inducing ordeal, and long distance can be simply unbearable. For some tradesman however, this is a daily reality. Bu it doesn't have to be that way with the new Prorack HD Roof Racks. Designed to take all of the amazing aerodynamic properties of the consumer oriented Prorack S-Wing roof system, the HD has been redesigned for extra strength and practicality. To begin with, these roof racks have a few accessories fitted to make regular use just a little bit easier. Features such as integrated tie down points and inlayed rubber 'load strips' have been introduced to the HD to remove some of the hassle from transporting a load. The HD is also designed to work with Smart Foot Technology allowing easy adjustment between vehicles, as well as lockable covers on the supports. The biggest feature however is the owl wing bar shape that gives the HD its legendary 70% drag reduction over standard roof racks. Not only will this give any tradesperson a big reduction in noise, but also a bit more in the hip pocket at the service station. Still, don't think you're sacrificing strength for the quiet design, the Prorack HD still holds a massive 100kg of tools and equipment without an issue. Though it is still worth consulting with your vehicles manufacturer to check the maximum load rating of your roof, before you start loading the racks up.
