Prorack 120cm HD Bar Silver Pair T16
Driving even a short distance with a set of singing roof racks fixed to your vehicle can be a headache inducing ordeal, and long distance can be simply unbearable. For some tradesman however, this is a daily reality. Bu it doesn't have to be that way with the new Prorack HD Roof Racks. Designed to take all of the amazing aerodynamic properties of the consumer oriented Prorack S-Wing roof system, the HD has been redesigned for extra strength and practicality. To begin with, these roof racks have a few accessories fitted to make regular use just a little bit easier. Features such as integrated tie down points and inlayed rubber 'load strips' have been introduced to the HD to remove some of the hassle from transporting a load. The HD is also designed to work with Smart Foot Technology allowing easy adjustment between vehicles, as well as lockable covers on the supports. The biggest feature however is the owl wing bar shape that gives the HD its legendary 70% drag reduction over standard roof racks. Not only will this give any tradesperson a big reduction in noise, but also a bit more in the hip pocket at the service station. Still, don't think you're sacrificing strength for the quiet design, the Prorack HD still holds a massive 100kg of tools and equipment without an issue. Though it is still worth consulting with your vehicles manufacturer to check the maximum load rating of your roof, before you start loading the racks up. If you're not sure of the length of bar required for your application, or still need to find the right fitting kit? Try our easy to use roof rack finder!

The roof racks work well. The length and shape make it easy to load my kayak and strap it down. The tie down points in the end are a useful touch. This feature justified the extra cost for the heavy duty bars. The covers on the mountings could be a little tighter, but OK.The bars are not noticeably noisy at normal highway speeds.

While a lot of folks seem to have gotten themselves into knots with this I found it fiddly but easy to install. Watch a few YouTube videos. It's not hard at all. Took a little more than an half an hour the first time on. But can now remove and reinstall in under 10 mins. Look great on the SZ Territory, too. Highly recommended.

Initially I was disappointed with my purchase as the kit doesn’t come with all the equipment needed to use the product.Clearly on the box it states complete roof rack kit. The markings on the box infer it is complete. I returned to the store and had to purchase a fitting kit for an extra $79.Whilst in the store I looked at other kits which had different markings and a sticker to explain it better.clearly Pro Rack realized their misleading advertising error and corrected it. I must have got and old stock item. Not really Super Cheap’s fault but disappointing none the less.Once fitted with all the correct attachments I found it easy to install and I’m happy with the look and they work great.

I bought a pair of these thinking they would be heavy duty enough for what I need. In terms of the weight load they can bear, not too bad (100kgs), the problem is the built in hooks at the ends of the rails used to attach the tie down straps. These hooks are too weak to last any continuous load strapping and the plastic which the rods are embedded into broke after less than one year. If you don't use the racks much or don't need to secure a heavier load with tie down ratchets then these racks might be OK. Otherwise don't bother.
Very stable roof racks. I had to buy separate mounting kit for model car which is fair enough.Have used every day. With work ladders and my large extention ladder with no problems at all very secure.I have noticed a bit of noise while driving with just the bare racks on. But not loud at allVery easy to install just followed instructions and additional mounting kit.
Couldn’t go past a Black Friday sale!Easy to install and it doesn’t have any wind noise when you are drivingFast packing for a click and collect, found it had the keys missing when I got home but the friendly staff exchanged it straight away.
The quality of the product appears sturdy and fit for purpose.. However, the allen-key power driver that was supposed to be included was missing. The worst things were the instructions - these were rubbish. Pages and pages of foreign languages, warnings, and included / confusing instructions for other styles / types. For the price paid, the instructions should be target market language specific and be solely applicable to the style purchased. A ProRack / Yakima brand YouTube instruction video specific to the style purchased would be far more helpful, especially if it was referenced in the instructions.
Whistles so loud I can here it with the windows up. Supercheap told me I can't return it because I've already installed it (how else would I know it was whistling??) told me to contact prorack which I did and it's been a week and no response. I've had to leave it on my car until I hear back even though its infuriating to listen to.
On the car for two weeks they were bought to also support a heavy duty roof tray. Strong durable and no discernable wind noise. Relatively easy to fit with the separate fitting kit.
Easy to install the racks themselves, the fitting kit (sold separately and different for different cars) was the tricky bit. They don't make any noticable noise when driving and feel nice and solid, just using for a 25kg kayak though.
