I've only just been able to install them as I wasn't aware when purchasing them that I need a specific 'Fitting Kit' for my model car. That then had to be ordered elsewhere online as Supercheap did not stock them (even though they are a common vehicle - 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe). Once I did receive the Kit, it was then the most time consuming product to install, so over-engineered for the installation. So as for their performance as Roof Racks, time will tell but haven't been impressed with their installation instructions (took awhile to work out the instructions, no words just diagrams that aren't that clear to begin with).

Pros:- Easy install using your initiative moreso than provided instructions.- Feel relatively sturdy for the price when on special.-Quiet on road at all speeds.Cons:- Would not purchase at full price.- "Required" fitting kit cost over $70 and all that is different in my case were two 30mm longer bolts and two rubber mounts which arguably weren't needed, while the two bolts could have been bought at Nubco for a couple bucks.

Just instaleld the se roof racks on my X5. Staff at Bairtnsdale SCA were excellent. Racks are on now and look and work great. Only issue was interpreting the instructions which used illustrations and few written words...took some analysis and some trial and error to work out that some of the fittings provided on the racks had to be removed and put aside - that should be made clear at the start of the instructions.

Bar itself is good. However I'm not 100,% confident about plastic bracket. I keep car in garage so UV damage would be minimum. The size of base area is bit small to my application. I hope the base would be bigger so it fit evenly.
The product itself is great. Feels strong and sturdy. We used it for Kayak's, so we're just tying them to the racks themselves and haven't bought any accessories etc. The installation wasn't very straight forward, and I think the instructions could be improved (mainly on the specific kit for your car, as opposed to the bars themselves), but with a bit of figuring things out myself I got there.
The roof racks were okay, but felt conned as I had to buy a separate install kit to fit these on my vehicle.A fitting kit costing $80.00 was expensive especially for the contents!If these racks require separate fitting kits make them more reasonably priced.Also, the install instructions are not clear and some would find these difficult to follow.
Simple and easy to fit. The instructions are a bit basic and slightly confusing, but with the help of a Youtube video it became a lot clearer. We are very pleased with the look and also the lack of wind noise when we're driving on the highway.
Good for light to medium loads up to 75kg. Low wind noise and easy to attach awnings and other accessories. Installation is easy but instructions are difficult to follow. Online videos helped.
Fit nicely on 23 model kluger,just a slight little over hang of the fitting kit. Guy in shop originally gave me the wrong fitting kit so i had to special order in a different kit.(Klugers have 2 different kind of roof fitting). There is a bit of mucking around to fit right, took me about an hour, but now I know how to do it would be way quicker. Seem like Good strong racks and not noisy

Once home, we realised it needs a separate mounting kit, according to the small print on the side of the box. Wasn't obvious from the Repco page. We ended up borrowing a trailer and the roof racks went under the bed in the spare room still in the box. Fast forward 17 months and we are getting to the point where we REALLY going to need those racks installed due to pending move and building works. So we looked up the mounting kit and hubby run into town to get it ($84.99). Took the racks out of the box and realised they are CURVED! Which wasn't obvious from the image either. Or go to Bunnings and buy a door, bench top, lengths of timber, gyprock, flat pack wardrobe, you know, all the things that need good flat surface to be transported. What's the point of having roof racks and taking trailer every time? I am taking it back and hopefully they will give me refund.
