PS3 Red Dead Redemption Game of The Year EU

A great game for the old west! This is definitely one of my favorite games of all time. The graphics, style, clothes, everything is phenomenal. I can't wait to get the whole game series. It's all about the old west. Guns, horses, bounty money, I mean you can even kill wild animals for money or for food. You can even help other people and they'll pay you for your time and effort for the job. I highly recommend this game! My most favorite!

This game came into my rotation after playing the sequel so it was set up for criticism considering how amazing Red Dead Redemption 2 is. What you see in the first game are pieces that really shine in the second. The story building, voice acting and action are all here in the first game. And as long as you can deal with the fact that apparently John never learned how to swim... sigh...you'll enjoy this when you need a mental break after... well just after. Trust me the games are better without spoilers.

Damaged case, missing manual

Game case had a slice mark on cover as if this might've been reshrink wrapped. There is also no manual included, just a map and an insert to download the manual from Rockstar's Website. I looked on youtube for "Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year edition PS3 greatest hits" and on videos that unboxed the greatest hits edition, there is a manual included. Even in other languages there appeared to be a manual but this copy did not have one. The disc appears to be authentic but I've not tested it yet.

One of the greatest western game ever made.

Spoiler Alert.After finally completing Red Dead Redemption I have these things to say. Other than a few glitches, there is absolutely nothing wrong with red dead redemption. For a game 10 years old the graphics, music and gameplay isn't even dated which I find amazing. We are just getting started. Red dead follows John Marston and his conquest to earn back his family from the US government, to do so he must hunt down his fellow gang members who betrayed him and left him for dead. Mexico was a big part of the story and I was completely blown away by the music, story and gameplay there. Eventually John gets back to America and kills the last member of his gang. The ending half of Red Dead in my honest to god opinion, is the greatest video game ending half in video game history. John returns to his family and everything seems good, and spends quality time with his family, however the game makes the daring decision to kill Marston, yet somehow, they pull it off perfectly. Even for a game that is ten years old, online mode is still active and booming with fun. Hunting and shooting mechanics are flawless. The graphics for its age are again, amazing. The game excels at putting you in Johns shoes and making you feel like you are really there, in 1911. Even for a game that is ten years old, I found myself playing it more than every new game I have on my console. Rockstar games made a masterpiece, and I got it for ten dollars yet it beats games I've spent 100 dollars on. Strongly recommended for everyone. Warning you might cry.

RDR on Switch is genuinely great

First off, both the original game and the DLC Undead Nightmare are complete on cart, meaning no downloads required. This alone makes this copy worth it. On top of that, the port is excellent - gameplay, remastered graphics, cheat menu, etc. Playing in handheld mode and I’ve been thoroughly satisfied with the performance and visuals — crazy to be playing this huge game portably! Overall, this is absolutely worth buying and playing. Highly recommended!

Red Dead Classic

A 5* game easily.

Red Dead Redemption on Switch

One of the best games of all time, finally on a Nintendo platform! Even though this is a couple of generations old, the fact that a game that looks this good and is this large, playing on the Switch, is amazing! I've always wanted to play this on the go and now i can! The only thing bad about this, as others have pointed out, is the price. It probably should have been a $39.99 game. Or even $29.99, since this isn't really a remaster. But i was fine paying the full price since it's one of my favorite games of all time. But i can see how some people wouldn't want to pay they much for a barebones port without online play. So it's all up to you. If you've never bought it before, it's a no brainer.

SUPERB Western Era Game!!!

First... If the "Overall Rating" had a "SUPERB" option this game IS SUPERB!!! A brilliantly made epic Western video game! I am 52, and I grew up on classic Western-era movies. I have played tons of games all my life, And Red Dead blew my mind on its original release debut back on Xbox360 and PS3!! The game FEELS like you are in those days, The stories are Great! All with a GTA sandbox layout, Where you can choose to hunt wildlife or do a mission... YOUR CHOICE!!! There are only 2 problems here... 1. EXTREMELY Addictive gameplay, And 2. The Switch version is a little buggy. The bugs are not game-buster level, But I hope Rockstar does a patch! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Undead Nightmare Lives Up To Its Name

I am a HUGE fan of Red Dead Redemption and thought the Undead Nightmare expansion would be fun. And it was, except for the difficulty. Unlike Red Dead, it is a very challenging game, sometimes frustratingly so. There was much controller throwing going on at times. That said it is fun, just dont expect the same kind of difficulty you have in Red Dead Redemption .

What treat this is

If you have played RDR then you know what you're getting yourself into. This game is great and has aged so well. It also looks great on the Switch. I love having the ability to play this game on the go too.If you're worried about how it might look or how it might run, don't worry at all. The Switch can actually handle this game really well. I was playing it from the Xbox 360 disk on my Series X recently and that version looks amazing and the Switch version of it looks nearly identical.If you haven't played this game yet, get it on Switch if you have one because you won't want to put it down. This is the best port we've gotten in a while for Switch.
