Ok guys, here's the thing about collagen peptide supplements. When consumed, the collagen peptides do NOT go straight to the face/skin/fine lines and wrinkles. I feel like people review this so inaccurately. If someone says their skin was glowing and plump after only one week, it's either bogus or a placebo effect. Taking collagen supplements can improve your overall intake of protein. There's just no possible way to direct said protein to specific areas, such as the face. Increasing your protein levels can stimulate healthy collagen production throughout the whole body, however, this is only going to happen only if taken everyday, consistently, over the course of 3-6 months. There's just no possible way to direct said protein to specific areas, such as the face. Increasing your protein levels can stimulate healthy collagen production throughout the whole body, however, this is only going to happen only if taken everyday, consistently, over the course of 3-6 months. Collagen isn't made overnight, in one day, or even over several weeks. And even after months of use, the results are subtle, at best. I feel that these expensive supplements use false advertising to get people to buy the product. I'm a nurse so I have a firm grasp on how our bodies use nutrients. But laypeople may not fully understand how nutrients are transferred from food product/supplements to the body's cells. You will get better results by eating a colorful variety of fruits, veggies, and lean proteins - like grilled or roasted chicken, turkey, and lean cuts of beef. This powder supplement quickly dissolves in water and doesn't have any taste whatsoever. It's actually a great way to add more protein into your diet! But for the price, I'll pass on this one!

A couple of weeks ago I saw an ad for another collagen product, so I asked my husband to review the back label that listed the essential amino acids and give me his interpretation. He took one look at the label and said that all that was listed on that nutritional label was already in the Purely Inspired product and MORE! So I gave it a try and have been drinking it for almost two weeks now and I already feel the difference. I feel like I have more energy, I don’t have those intermittent aches and pains from exercising, and I feel more limber. If this is the way I’m feeling after a short time, then I’m looking forward to the full potential of what is product can do. Like I said, my husband has been on it for almost two years, and I have really seen changes in him. He is in great shape for a man his age. And yes, I read the reviews for this product myself and I really don’t know WHAT these people are talking about when they say that the product clumps, and doesn’t dissolve easy and it tastes nasty. Trust me, I am a PARTICULAR person - - - all I have to do is try something ONCE - - - I either like it or I don’t. For one thing, I pour 1 and a 1/2 scoops of powder in a shaker mug and SHAKE, then I add ice cubes and SHAKE again, and THEN I add some sugar free ice tea powder and SHAKE again. I haven’t encountered any clumps, and with my added ice tea powder, I taste NOTHING but the tea. I am one of those who loses interest REAL QUICK, but I have to admit that I plan to stick with this product - - - It’s so easy to take; not to mention I’m getting my hydration; in addition to the health benefits. I really want to thank my husband for being so diligent about keeping me abreast of good nutritional products!!! Thank you for allowing me to share…..

But Where Are The Ingredients From?
2 April 2022

I paid a little over $20 for this in Walmart. It still seemed like a fair price compared to so many others that are almost out of reach price wise. I’m not sure what all of the terrible complaints are about it not dissolving well in liquids. I have used it twice now, and except for a couple little lumps in my coffee, which easily dissolve with the back of my spoon pressed against them, it dissolves thoroughly otherwise. It is tasteless. It has no odor. And I have tried many brands. I so far have no complaints about this particular product except that it says “made in USA from international ingredients” which is kind of dubious. I probably won’t buy it again just for that reason. As far as how collagen peptides make you “feel” by taking them, I don’t see how a person ... MoreI paid a little over $20 for this in Walmart. I bought this today - and I've had the first serving. There are several "negative" reviews for this product - based on bad taste or how poorly the product dissolves. This is not my experience at all! Half full
23 January 2023

I recently bought the collagen peptides because my daughter suggested I try it to increase my collagen intake. I heard good things about this brand so I tried it. The first thing I noticed was the container is only half full and I paid 26.00 for this at Walmart. I don't think that's very fair, in a time when everything is so expensive you'd think a company would at least fill the container to fit the cost. I'll never buy again, it's really disappointing and frustrating to have this happen. I won't buy again and found a walmart brand that was the same price, same ingredients and the container was full! Bad way to treat customers purely inspired.

Wellph, lets put it this way, drink this stuff in the morning and nothin worse will happen all day. if this is supposed to be unflavored then what does the flavored version taste like? Its terrible! I don't wanna throw away my money but i also wouldnt wanna feed this to my worst enemy so i'll probably stick in the back of my cupboard until it's outdated, then i can justify pitching it.But on a brighter note; most protein powder just IS nasty tasting so if you don't have taste buds or smelling senses, its a great product! if you mix it with something VERY flavorful or sweet its gulp-it-down-able. (or if you're already drinking other nasty proteins, enjoy!)

Not worth the money Or time. You get what you pay
22 March 2023

Not tasteless and the other reviews are correct in that- it is less than half full. Even my kitchen scale reflects that this container is not even 60% of what it is advertised. The other brand (w JAniston) VP is a few $s more expensive but it worked. Use to have a glow to my skin and switched to this brand and it doesn’t do anything at all. Placebo effect w other reviews idk? I’ve been on this approx 4 months now and nothing. Sadly dissatisfied and disappointed. Wasted money and time. Plus, it tastes very odd. It does however mix in w hot liquids. That’s about all it has going for it.

Purely inspired brand collagen peptides
1 January 2023

I have been using this brand for several years. it's more cost effective than other brands. I swear by collagen peptides, it's really helped with hair growth and stregnth. All peptides I have used if no vanilla flavor taste like beef a little after all it is from cows so what do you expect! I put it in my smoothies every morning so you can't taste it that way. Yes the container is not full when you open it. It is measured by weight not how full the container is.

We have been using collagen in our morning "bulletproof" coffee for a few years now. We notice that it boosts energy and makes for good skin elasticity, nail growth, and healthy hair. These are results that take awhile to notice with regular use. For us, the switch in brands did not seem to make a difference in either direction which is good. This more well known brand blends well in hot beverages with an immersion blender. Did not try it in cold beverages. Overall, no complaints or regrets.
