Pureology Hydrate Superfood Treatment 200ml

I received the Pureology Color Fanatic Multi-Tasking Leave-In Spray from Influenster for testing purposes. I had never tried any Pureology product prior to this, so I was even more excited than usual! My overall feeling about this product is that I am absolutely obsessed with it!! The scent is a blend of Rose, Floral Ginger, and Cedarwood, and it literally smells so fabulous. It is honestly the nicest smelling fragrance of any hair product I have ever tried. I have color treated light blonde hair, so I struggle with frizz and keeping it hydrated, but this leave-in spray is so nourishing. My hair is noticeably more smooth and soft after every use. I was extremely surprised how much I liked this mask as the texture was so light weight and the smell is not too fragranced at all. To be honest I really only for the last two years have been using only a brand called briogeo for my hair products. Especially on of their staple products and my personal favorite the their deep repair moisture intense mask and this is a very good second runner up or first meaning this is very much like that mask and really can help distressed damaged dry or regular hair just to make it shiny and hydrated again. I wanted to give it an honest review which is why it took me a week or two but because you’re only supposed to use it once to twice a week depending on your hair ,I did it twice a week for two weeks almost three and and wow has my hair become more hydrated and shiny! I feel my color and small highlights I have We’re not disrupted at all by the smells so masks and altering your color which I get nervous about; as I get my color done professionally. All in all I will definitely re-purchase this stuff wow it’s going to last forever and thats from someone whom has extremely thick hair i which l also such a plus because there’s so much in it and you don’t need a lot at all! it’s great! I'm writing this not to "bad mouth" the brand or even try to make them out to be the bad guys. I am writing this because I reviewed a product from their company and it most definitely did not live up to the hype that they and so many others have built around basically any product they put out. I still love Pureology, I still believe that just because this hair mask was far from what it was claimed to be that their brand has other products that will work for me and many other people. The product itself and the promises I foolishly believed.... The standard moisturizing and total treatment for hair care was supposed to be in just one use. I ran into a big issue while trying to rinse it from my hair and that was that it was a bit difficult to rinse from my hair. Then once my hair dried ( naturally) I hoped that there would be some kind of difference even a tiny bit of difference but I actually noticed the opposite. When my hair dried. I noticed that my hair seemed like it had a lot more static and a bit more frizz going on.

I’m a big pureology fan, I have basically all the products from the purple line. This hair mask smells really good, not like the hydration conditioner but it still smells good because it has coconut oil and avocado oil . It doesn’t specify if you are supposed to use it after shampoo or before but you must at least wait for 5 minutes and then rinse it off. The consistency is just like any hair mask , it’s thick and not runny at all . Leaves hair very shiny and soft. 10/10 worth it.

I found this product is truly a balance for hair textures like mine which thrive with moisture and hydration but can be overwhelmed with some of the heavier solutions meant for more heavily textured hair. I always enjoy the scent of Pureology products and this one is no different. The smell is pleasant and not overly strong. The amount of product needed for the hair mask isn’t excessive - a problem I have found with many products found on the traditional hair care aisles. I would absolutely buy this product and I would recommend it to others. I feel it is perfect for wavy to curly hair. Heavier textured hair would likely need to use a bit more of the product but the profile of oils and ingredients seems to translate to many of the deep conditioning products I’ve tried in the past. It strikes a balance between some heavier oil drenched products and ones too runny or drying. It seems to smooth the hair and help with breakage and curl pattern without adding too much extra weight to the follicle. I am in love.

Best scent!

The scent of this product is my favorite Pureology scent. It is not overpowering and lingers afterwards in a good way. The mask appears to make my hair feel stronger and moisturized, I use it about once per week but wish I could use it everyday because of how much I like it. Maybe I use too much, but I feel like the bottle does not last very long. I will re-order because I like it but just wanted to mention that. Another great Pureology product that is worth adding to your haircare routine.

I use this conditioner 2 to 3 times per week!!!

This conditioner is so rich and luxurious! It leaves my hair moisturize, but never weighs it down. I have very thin, baby fine hair that dries out easily and this conditioner keeps my color treated hair very healthy! I use Purology shampoo and hairspray also. I am very happy with this line of products and am so glad I can get them at ULTA Beauty! Most of their products are available in travel size and jumbo size that is very economical. It only takes a small amount, so it last.

Pleasantly Surprised

I got this hair mask as a sample through Influenster.... I was pleasantly surprised by this. I recently colored my hair and I didnt see a lot of color going down the drain. I have used this about 12 times and less and less color goes down the drain. To make sure its not just because the excess color was done bleeding out, i went back to a store brand (3) washes . The color started washing down the drain again. It helps keep color it, it made my hair really soft & silky feeling & less tangles. 43 years old & i gave thick baby fine fly away hair & it still tangles like crazy. I really like this mask. I actually use it instead of conditioner & once a week as an over night mask. I use A LOT of product to keep my hair smooth & less frizzy/flyaways. Pureology

My hair is dry, especially my ends, also curly and frizzy. I use quite a few products of the hydrating line of Pureology and it has been so good for my hair. Also, it's one of my daughters favorites as she has very curly, more fine hair. This was my first time using this conditioner however. No exception here, its really good. It seems to me that it does about the same thing as the hydrate conditioner. I couldn't really tell that it was giving me any more, extra moisture then just the regular conditioner. Its moisturizing though! I will continue to order from LovelySkin as the service is nothing less then spectacular:)) Thank You
