Muscular, workhorse subwoofer for pros. Practical size and weight and a tuned, vented cabinet which throws in a cardioid pattern, making for a much tighter stage. At home on the road or as a permanent installation. They make a tidy cart/cover roll-around to go with. Long warrantee and good customer service. Industry leading technology.

I WANTED to hate this sub, I wanted it to be sub par, I wanted it to fail and sound like every other dual 12 out there. But holy mother of god this thing exceeded all of my expectations. When they said "3600 W" I thought they meant 900 rms, 3600 peak. I actually took the amplifier out of the sub and hooked it up to an amp dyno. Power to each of the cones (to 1% THD) is a solid 1200w with dynamic peaks up to 1800w per cone. So in reality the program power is about 2400w which is a LOT of power. The cardioid pattern is NO JOKE either, all of the bass energy is reflected forward. I had this sub set up at a gig (a rave in a 200 person room) under a table cloth paired with two qsc k12.2 tops (which I would also recommend) and one of my friends asked me what I was ... MoreI WANTED to hate this sub, I wanted it to be sub par, I wanted it to fail and sound like every other dual 12 out there. When I showed him the one qsc his jaw just about hit the floor. I then had him step into the booth and he became further amazed at the lack of bass energy on stage. We could have a conversation without raising out voices at all. Cannot stress how good this sub is.

I bought one of this sub in 11/18 while playing It for about an hour it smells like a burnt iron and the limit light will trip on. I also had the gain at 12 0: clock my set up are as follows pioneer SZ2 and QSCk10.2 tops with one KS212c sub I also have 2 QSC KW181 and the limit light never trip on. I called QSC about the problem and they told me probably I am over driving the sub which I am not. I tried another Dj controller and the same thing happened I have to turn the gain on the back of the sub to 10:o clock for the sub not to limit

Fantastic sub woofer!
22 July 2019

I have two of these and use them in conjunction with a pair of K2.2 12's for my three piece band. Depending on the venue I switch between the pair and single sub configuration. Fantastic bass response and what a difference on the stage. I can now hear everything more clearly thanks to the Cardoid pattern of the subs. Very easy to transport and the casters are top grade making these easy to move around.

Great sound to size ratio.
16 July 2018

I wasn't able to demo the ks212c locally so I took the chance and am very satisfied. I was using my JBL Prx 718 sub with a pair of QSC k12 tops but needed something a little bit more compact for smaller gigs without sacrificing a lot of low end. I'm very impressed with not only the sound but also the mobility of the unit. Would definitely recommend it, but still not getting rid of my 18" JBL, which I'll use in another part of a venue as the need for boom arises.

Nice smooth bass

I had two, they are smooth and provide a great sound...just not what I wanted as a DJ. Brought them back and got two kw181s. Much deeper hard hitting sound but now lots of bass comes to the rear. The 181 are great but bass drops off at maybe 50'? I've got my eye on the new 3600 watt 18s. I see they are hitting hard with bass. Two of the

This is a subwoofer with directional sound quality in mind from the get go. After having the new K.2 12" speakers for almost 3 months, I knew that the bottom was missing something more than a lot of bass. A long awaited preorder for this mammoth speaker finally was delivered. A simple cross-check to made some adjustments to tell the floor speakers that a sub was in the mix, set the tone for a listening experience. After a song list was sent to the mixer to play, I was totally happy with the sub output not overpowering the mid/highs. It was a clean and crisp balance of audio dynamics in the higher volume levels, even for different genres of music. Mine came with the black 36" extension pole to mount the K12.2 speaker above. I bought two of these to sit under my Alto 112's. Yep, you guessed it - I have to upgrade the 112's. I had to turn these down to 12 o'clock because the 112's couldn't keep up. My only gripe is with QSC for not setting the Frequency Response lower to capture the real sub bass present in many hip hop songs. These are the truth though for crowds up to 300.

hits hard
24 January 2018

This sub is impressive. I purchased it for a cafe sound system install. Connected to 2 QSC k10.2s This system is plenty powerful for a jazz band or just a mellow band. Everything from QSC has always been great quality However i was hesitant to purchase due to the old k-sub leaving much to be desired. This new one is almost as powerful as our kw181. Not quite as loud but hits hard and low. I would buy it again. If you're looking for something powerful, small, DSP smart, and super clear... this is it! Also the cardioid pattern projection is legit too.
