They are fine speakers....but not for the money. We A/Bed them with the RCF 912As and the RCF's blew them away. It wasn't even close. The clarity from the 912As was far beyond what the QSC's could do. And power wise they were about the same. Given the price, I see no reason to go for these. We also A/Bed with the the Yamaha DXR12s and Yamaha also blew them away...for less money. RCF was the top of the 3, but both Yamaha and RCF were a big step above QSC!

Arrived sooner than expected, packaged amazingly.I was expecting visible blemishes on the grill, but there were NONE! SUPER happy about that.Only thing missing is a manual, but I'm sure that I can download that somewhere.Took it out for my first gig last night and I was blown away! It sounds great & it projects very well. I am a very satisfied customer. Can't wait to purchase a matching speaker to complete my set.

Now i own 4 K12.2 2 k8.2 2 Cp 124 Kw181 And no problems w any of them Only the tires on kw181 were n tear Other than that All is good Qsc is #1 in my book

We bought this for our church and its our main speakers. Killer sound!! You should go with the sub if you want a big sound. You won't regret your purchase. Sam ash was amazing too. can't recommedn highly enough. Try it you won't be dissapointed. at all! All the best of luck.
Preface: I have been a huge JBL fan for years and have used several of their EON series speakers.CONS: In comparison to the JBL EON612's...these speakers lack an additional handle on the right side of the speaker. This makes a huge difference when lifting them on to a tripod. Additionally, there is not set screw after mounting to a tripod, and the speakers can drift from left to right in a windy outdoor situation. These speakers are also slightly heavier than the JBL's. The sound is fuller and crisper, some of the highs sound a little harsh that could be corrected with EQ. The ABS plastic design makes me believe that these speakers will get scratched very easily, especially when used outside and being laid down on hard, paved surfaces. MIC input was lacking ... The sound is fuller and crisper, some of the highs sound a little harsh that could be corrected with EQ. The ABS plastic design makes me believe that these speakers will get scratched very easily, especially when used outside and being laid down on hard, paved surfaces. MIC input was lacking headroom. I first used this speaker with a mic running directly in to the speaker. I set it from LINE to MIC and had the volume cranked. Outside, the input was still not enough. I wouldn't recommend doing this and would certainly incorporate a mixer next time to add some gain.PROS: Much more power! These speakers have a great amount of power and I have yet been able to crank them up. The design seems decent and I'm glad they can be used as a PA speaker or a floor monitor. DSP - After getting the hang of it, I was easily able to navigate the DSP settings and adjust the presets to my liking. I love being able to set these up as a stage monitor with very little EQ adjustment. The two channel XLR inputs and 1/8 input makes the speaker versatile. The option of having a thru output or combined channel output is nice as well. I also like that fact that when pole mounted, you have two options with the option of angling the speaker down. You don't get this with JBL. I also like the locking IEC power cable. I always get nervous of some speakers where the IEC can be easily unplugged.I also purchased these with bags. The bags are comparable to that of a JBL bag, they have decent zippers and a side pocket. Good for preventing normal wear and tear.
Overall:Read the reviews and had been doing research for over a year and decided on a pair of these. First event with 40-50 people with the gain at 0, no limiter light, no playing in the red and one of the speakers now only flashes the lcd display this was literally my first event and one is already out. Now I’m going through the repair journey which isn’t the easy process. Definitely look into this issue I’ve found several Reddit threads with people who are experiencing the same issue. Talk about embarrassing I paid for the best but it doesn’t really feel like it. My old passive system never had an issue in 10 years besides a couple horn replacements but even then you can still at least hear the speaker if this is out your just dead in the water.
I am a professional musician (guitarist/vocalist) who mixes a 6 piece band with guitar, bass, drums, keys, sax and vocals from the stage into a PA consisting of QSC KW153/sub. My guitar rig consists of a full pedalboard into an Atomic Amplifire as a direct box/amp/sim/IR. I knew I'd need a quality full range monitor/main speaker to mix the band AND reproduce my guitar sound while monitoring a main mix. For quite awhile I used the EV zlx12P (which was a fine speaker). However.. I learned that my digital guitar sound had to be adjusted while monitoring the QSC mains and NOT the EV because the EV had a color characteristic all its own that did not translate well when fed to the FOH. I considered using the QSC KW15.2 knowing that it was most similar to the KW153's I was ... I considered using the QSC KW15.2 knowing that it was most similar to the KW153's I was using as mains (15" speaker), but realized that it was heavier and considerably more costly, so I wondered if the KW 12.2 would provide an accurate and commensurate reproduction of the guitars sound. While doing my research, I came across the K series 12.2 and decided to try it knowing that I could return it to GC if it didn't work out. I WAS PLEASANTLY SUPRISED to find that the guitar tones reproduced by the K12.2 were nearly indistinguishable from the KW153 sound. Also I was pleased that the band mix sounded clearer and completely uncolored as compared to the EV. I'm very pleased with this speaker and would definitely recommend it as a digital guitar monitor as well as a main speaker or sidefill monitor.
I've been looking for a system to produce loud, fat electric keyboard sounds, especially on the acoustic piano settings. I have used several brand of amps for keys which are very good although they're generally designed for smaller spaces. 300 - 500 watts sounds adequate but playing with a loud outdoor rock band usually proves otherwise. Post Rona Lockup, I anticipate more outdoor venues which will require ample amounts of clean high volume, a challenge for keyboardists. FOH is an iffy proposition all the way around, but now with a K12.2 pair I won't be buried in the mix. A myriad of favorable reviews of the brand convinced me to give them a try and I am impressed by their strong sonic reproduction in a wide variety of voicings. They sure don't feel like 48 pounds ... They sure don't feel like 48 pounds and are readily portable. My 50 pounder amps felt much heavier. High quality gig bags included during a QSC production are a total bonus. The search for a solid live keys set up appears to be over. I expect these to be my final speaker configuration barring further product developments from QSC.
The great thing about these speaker is the ergonomics.Even though they may be heavier than your average 12 inch cans, they are by far easier to handle.Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. The speakers lose integrity after a few hours and the sound deteriorates. Updating the firmware doesn't help.Sound isn't rich no matter what setting you use and severly lacking in range.Coming from someone who has always used QSC products, this series is an embarrassment. I wish they still had the Original K series
