I really enjoyed the cookies and cream flavour, a far cry from the first quest bar I ever tried from the chemist warehouse -chocolate brownie flavour. My lesson: do NOT buy quest bars from the chemist warehouse, they are stale, and taste like they have been fermented in alcohol. SPRINTFIT is my go to place to buy quest bars, they taste like they have been kept and stored. very well, they taste fresh and amazing. Fast shipping too which is absolutely awesome. I would like to give the quest team a big thank you! well done.Overall quest is a very good snack, I find that once you get over the initial oddness of the protein flavour, you start to crave this yummy snack and immensely enjoy it. GNC keeps asking for a review, but I can't even find the actual product to review that I've been using auto-deliver on for over a year.I have an auto subscription for the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough without the chocolate covering. Why aren't they on the site to review? These are hit and miss with GNC. Sometimes they ship quickly and sometimes it takes a week and a half. You never know when they will come and tracking can be spotty. I will ??say though, that one time they determined an order was lost in the mail and sent out a replacement right away. These bars are either the perfect texture and taste or they aren't and there is no in between. There is a fine line between chewy and rubbery with these. Try popping a rubbery one in the microwave for seven seconds ... There is a fine line between chewy and rubbery with these. Try popping a rubbery one in the microwave for seven seconds and it is more palatable. But, when they are good, they are amazing! They taste like they have Hershey's chocolate in them and the texture is perfect. Sometimes they have a very slight coconut flavor, but it isn't common thankfully. It doesn't matter if you get them on Amazon or GNC, the odds of a bad box are the same. The only thing that is different is that I can be guaranteed to get them in one day on Amazon. I'm not sure why I still use Subscribe and Save actually.I wish they'd let me use my points on my subscribe and save, but you have to go to a brick and mortar for that which is annoying.
Quest bars are a known quantity, right? No one who buys from a supplement website has NOT had a Quest bar before. We all know what we're getting into. A moderately tasty quick fix, and that's about it. Quest bars are thin, but the gods bless 'em - no matter the flavour, There Will Be Chonk. They are GLORIOUS for this. My suggestion - take any Quest bar, though cookies and cream, mint choc chip and anything with big ol' bitties works best for this - and pop it on some baking paper. Heat that in the microwave for about 15 seconds [yes, you read that correctly - 15]. Fold the baking paper over the now-soft bar, and use a rolling pin/jar/can/wine bottle to roll it out as flat as you can. Fold the baking paper over the now-soft bar, and use a rolling pin/jar/can/wine bottle to roll it out as flat as you can. Cut that into bite-sized squares, bake in the oven on about 175 degrees Celcius [no Freedom Eagles here] for about 10 minutes, max. Let them cool only for as long as it takes you to shake up your favourite protein shake, get a bowl, and a spoon. Pour the baked bar chunks into the bowl, pour over your protein shake, and BOOM. A vaguely-300-500 calorie snack/meal with at least 30g of protein, and you STILL GET THE LEFTOVER CEREAL MILK TASTE AT THE END. You're welcome. Also, on the actual purchase: the mixed box I got wasn't much of a mix - it was four flavours, two of each flavour. Nothing exotic, but not terrible. 7/10 would probably buy again, but there are better protein bars out there for your money, really. Quest bars are very chewy and dense, and they often have sugar alcohols in 'em that some people can't digest. They're not bad, but they won't blow you away. The flavours I like most are the cookies and cream, mint choc chip, raspberry white choc, s'mores, choc hazelnut and blueberry muffin. The thing is, that most/all of chocolate-type flavours kinda taste the same? Sort of?
My wife developed a gluten allergy 2 years ago and it's been a whirlwind adapting and adjusting our entire lifestyle to accommodate for it. Snacking and on-the-go meals is a huge part of our dieting because of the nature of our jobs and finding gluten free snacks and protein bars that DON'T taste awful has been an immense challenge for us. But these are tasty! And they have none of the bad stuff in them that unhealthy snacks have! How is that possible? I do not know. But I know this: this silly little snack has brought a newfound peace into our lives. And that's worth more than the price tag on these. #sweepstakes

The bar has a chewy overall texture with a filling that's reminiscent of marshmallow. It's dense and has a good chewiness. There's a slight taste of protein powder and a mild creamy aroma. The Oreo cookie crumbs inside the bar are quite large, so if you savor it slowly, there might be some minor crumbs falling, but they are delightfully crispy and taste just like Oreo cookies. When you occasionally get a piece of Oreo filling, it has a texture similar to white chocolate, a rich creamy flavor, and it's sweet, just like the actual Oreo filling. The bar is quite chewy overall, and experiencing all these elements slowly melting in your mouth feels like a delightful journey 🥰.Moreover, the taste of the coating on this bar isn't overly intense. I'm a big fan of protein bars. This isy first time trying a quest bars. They are absolutely awesome. Also, Avery big plus is a high fiber content. Most people have a hard time getting to their daily fiber content including myself, this bar helps me out tremendously. I highly recommend theses bars to anyone who wants increase their daily protein and fiber content. This particular flavor tastes like I'm eating a genuine cookie. Place it in a microwave for a few seconds and you have a ready yummy dessert. This is my new favorite protein ber. I'll be buying it for many years to come.
