Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K - Black

the mouse works well out of the box. it can sync up the razer usb receiver to unify the connection w a wireless razer keyboard as well. beware to put the receiver directly on the laptop or mother board usb port, as the behaviour may get erratic over a usb hub (e.g. jumping cursor). the free spin and tilt scroll wheel features are really useful for productivity work and the shape works well for right handed users (i dont have large hands though).if u are into rgb, downloading razer synapse is a must. after a month of daily usage, this has been very reliable and comfortable to use.

An Excellent Mouse for Gaming AND PC Work

This Razer Basilisk V3 Pro mouse replaced my previous gaming mouse, the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum. I migrated the Logitech (still working just fine) to a non-gaming laptop, thus the need for a replacement. The mice are very similar in build quality and design, with this Razer Basilisk being ever so slightly faster at wireless then the Logitech was, and that is amazing. I use this mouse, as well as the previous, in a claw-like hold (palm not flat on mouse), so there is a button close to the front left side of the mouse that I cannot use, at least in my typical hold style. I believe my hand to be of medium male size. I don't use the button(s) to the front anyways, so not a big deal at all. When I first tried the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro mouse on my favorite FPS, I had a tendency to hit the Sensitivity button (first button to the rear in the middle of the left/right mouse buttons). This would of course mess up my play and I would have to cycle the button 3 or 4 times to get to where it was before. However, thanks to Synapse software by Razer, you can make the buttons do what you want including nothing. That is what I have that button doing now. The next one in between the left/right mouse buttons is for themouse wheel, whether it is smooth or notched moving. I hit this button every now and then, but it is not a problem like the one to the rear of it. By the way, for normal PC work, the wheel could be a bit more notch-like when in that mode, but I guess it will do. The battery lasts about as long as the Logitech did when it was new. I would say I get around 30 solid hours with the Razer mouse before needing a charge. When needing a charge, the long, nicely braided cable can be used to charge the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro mouse, the same as the Logitech does. All in all, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is an excellent mouse for gaming AND normal PC work for me.

Basilisk V3 Pro wireless gaming mouse awesomeness

I had a Basilisk Ultimate, which I really liked, but it eventually stopped connecting to recharge on its charging dock, which had two metal contact pins.I like the V3 Pro more. Very responsive to use, great lighting options and great to have a good selection of programmable buttons, etc. It's quite similar to the Ultimate to set up and operate, but can charge with a wireless charging dock (separate purchase). Once charged, this mouse operates for much longer than the Ultimate ever did between recharging.Some people don't like this mouse being a little heavier than many other wireless mice, but the Ultimate was the same and it doesn't bother me at all. Best mouse on the market for larger hands.

It's a big mouse, great for large hands. Ultra low latency input response, one of the lowest of any wireless mouse. Plenty of extra buttons, scroll wheel unlocks to free spin. Ton of lighting zones. It's a little on the heavier side to be used a competitive FPS mouse, but if you're larger like I am I don't see that being an issue. Razer software is easy to use, I've used all the major gaming peripheral brands and Synapse is tied with steelseries engine for ease of use and functionality.

Poor Product for the price.

I Purchased this mouse 2-3 years ago for about 225$ Plus tax when it had just come out. I immediately fell in love with it. It was perfect for gaming and for what I needed it to do. Has a decent weight to it, it feels good in the palm, and it was very accurate. Then comes the issues :( About a 8 months in, I noticed it would start to freeze, Turn off, than turn back on. It was very confusing. I would be gaming and all of a sudden, I would have no mouse control/response. Id look down, and the RGB would change colours, turn off, than come back on to its set RGB and work again. Ever since then, I've been using it with the cord so it doesn't do this. Not only that, The grip on the mouse wheel actually moves before the mouse wheel itself. This mouse is expensive. It's also worth it.

For an expensive mouse (no doubt) this mouse is extra comfortable for those of us with big meaty sausage fingers. The RGB colors definitely turn heads, had plenty of coworkers at the office walking by stop dead in their tracks and give me compliments on how cool it looks. Granted that's not the purpose I bought it for even though we all know RGB lighting makes the devices go vroom faster. I mainly bought it because I have XL sized hands and mouses these days are made in X-small sizes so half your hand normally drags all over the mouse pad. this moise is comfortable, fast, shiny to boot and works beautifully with incredible packaging. What more could you want i mean seriously? It's a mouse...

Worth the upgrade!

As a Razer fan, previous user of the Razer Viper Ultralight Mouse, I was so excited to upgrade to the Basilisk V3 Pro 35k. There is a noticeable difference in performance and response speed. I like the different shape to the mouse as well. You can customize the RGB lights as well to make it match your setup aesthetic which I appreciate. There's so many customization options with the buttons on this mouse as well, I'm still configuring them to be perfect for the game(s) I am playing. Highly recommend!

This is a great mouse, it's on the heavier side but IMO it's not too heavy. If you are looking for a super light mouse, then Viper V2 pro might be a good choice.Pros:1. Very comfortable to hold (My hand is around 18.5 inch long)2. The RGB light is amazingly beautiful.3. Great build quality, premium material4. The click was not too loud, compared with Viper and DA3 pro, but enough for confirmation.5. It does have BT + wireless dongle.6. USB C!Cons:1. It's pricey2. Razer arguably makes the best products and this mouse is no disappointment. It is THE BEST all around multifunctioning mouse. It has all the buttons you could want, Hyper scroll wheel, RGB, Bluetooth switch for multiple devices, the skates float and mouse clicks/buttons are crisp. Scroll wheel is solid and hyper scroll is so smooth. Thumb rest is great and gives you more control, imo. If you want the best and can afford it, just go ahead and buy it. I like the weight of it. I'm used to the Orochi which is small and less features but good price/quality if you want a light AA/AAA battery powered mouse. I like the rechargeable and that it's C charger which I normally have accessibly on my desk.
