I bought these as I am a gamer and enjoy the surround sound and these were meant to replace my logitechs that just broke. So as a regular headset, they work perfectly fine. Bass & Treble are both quite good, but will definitely not blow you away. And again, if you are not connected to a PC, you will not be able to use any of the advance audio features. No customized audio settings, no bass boost, no special THX audio. Because the ear-cups are so large – a fair amount of audio leaks out and can be heard by those sitting hear you. They also do not do a great job of muffling out surrounding noise.

This is also quite durable since there were times that I dropped this on the floor and yanked on the wire too hard.The sound quality is also amazing for gaming and listening to music. My son received these for Christmas in 2020. Seven months later, one speaker muff has already quit working. It's definitely an internal connection issue because if I jiggled the cord, it would work again when held in one position. Taping it in place to the frame was a temporary solution as it has now quit working altogether.I'm debating if it's worth the hassle in sending them away to be repaired or make him use his old pair until Christmas again this year.Either way, I'm not very impressed. This is something I'd expect from a very cheap gaming gaming headset. When they did properly work, the sound quality for games was very good and the mic function seemed to also work well so I'll be generous and give an extra star even though my true rating is 1.5/5 and not 2/5.
This is my first Razer headset, I must say I am impressed. For the amount of audio features you're getting at this price point, Razer did a good job. The comfort is excellent. This can be worne for hours and hours without any pressure points being touched. Sound quality is above average, there's alot of volume and bass with this headset. You can also tweak the EQ to your preference via the USB dongle that it comes with. For consoles (specifically xbox because thats all I own) there's also alot of volume as well. Just remember if you're getting this mainly for console gaming, wait for this thing to go on sale and you'll get a nice bargain. Overall a great offering from Razer!

I was a little disappointed with the fit however as the head band does not provide much force at all to hold the cups to your ears. This results in the feeling of having the entire weight on the headband and they do not feel stable at all. Tilting my head down slightly is enough to get these to move from where they are comfortable. The lack of clamping force also means that the cups do not seal as well as they could, letting in more outside noise than necessary. The cups also only have a very limited tilt, so makes it more difficult to get them to fit well. Maybe its just my head, maybe it'll fit yours. If it does you will love them. Price point is fine. If you need a headphones with versatility in how it can used USB or standard headphone jack, say if using a computer and then later using them in a controller jack the. Switching back this headset can be nice. I only need a headphone for USB computer which makes this product overly complicated. Even though it is one device it has a separate driver/setting for sound and microphone. It has 2 mute and 2 volume controls on it. So seeing if your muted or not muted or if volume controls are bumped you always have to check 2 locations. For me, overly cumbersome. For some one who uses this for USB and then switches to regular headphone jacks this could be ideal for. Finally, the fit on the head does not feel as nice as the larger kraken USB heads phone.
