I was looking at buying a premium PC gaming headset and had been eyeing this headset for some time. At $79.99 it seemed like a now brainer and placed my order hoping to get it in before the weekend for some extended Diablo 4 sessions ove r the weekend. With no realnoption I waited until it arrived to give it a spin. Since it was now a weekeday and during working hours I decided to test it in my work conference calls. The headset paired without any issues but as others have noted my wo workers immediately noticed a change in my voice. The Synapse software never recognized my headset after a complete reinstall and repair which meant I couldn’t change any sound settings. Using the direct 3.5mm headset cord yielded no different results. I thought I might just keep them for the sound considering they were so cheap but without the software to fix the haptic feedback there was no way to cotrol the sound for the headset. The haptic feedback appears to be tied to the volume so I unfortunately couldnt get a good mix of sound and haptics without having to nlast the volume. This also meant trying to listen to music or anything else using the 3.5mm was a terrible experience. The headset also comes with THX support but this is requires additional software and a paid subscription. The extra software added 4 different sound options in my sound menunon top of the alredy 4 options from the headset making my sound panel a complete mess. I have a razer mouse, keyboard, mousepad and was rwally looking forward to this purchase but everything about this headset was bad or completely useless that I had no option than to return it. You shoulnt have to deal with these issues at$79.99 much less at full price.

Or I should have gotten Razer's fancy LED headset rack, I guess.I'm not as down on Razer's Synapse software as others, but after using it with the Nari, it became a source of frustration, as I'd have to uninstall and reinstall it at least once a week to get the headset to connect to my PC. When it would reconnect, surround sound would stop working, requiring a re-installation of Synapse and the device drivers once more. Even though the THX haptic vibrations didn't give me a headache, boy, did the experience of maintaining this hardware do the trick.In short, pretty overpriced for what you get. As I understand it, most of the advertised features will not even work on PS4/PS5, so if you are primarily a console gamer, there's even less incentive to splurge on this. You're better off with a Plantronics or Logitech headset of similar price.

The haptic feedback is 100% cool. They're super comfy slightly oversized but expected by the design. The battery life is prob 4ish hrs if you have the rgb active and the haptic past 40%. It's a tradeoff for the haptic experience no regrets there. The mic is clear but during a gaming session so much of vibration by the haptic and the sound leak from the ear pieces comes in bad and that mic no matter how you tune it, people are going to hear it. I use a stand alone mic then tuned the sound for maximum footstep hearing and turned up the haptic for the effect. If you can't get a stand alone mic. That will be the only thing that leaves you slightly negative. I really like them though. Keep a usb cord close. **Turning your rgb off gets you the longer use time.

Weird, I know, but just realize that RBG lighting doesn't draw as near as much energy as the Haptics will.3. There’s a separate button, you can press to actually turn off the microphone if you wanted to which is kind of nice so you don’t have to fumble around looking for the mute button.All in all, they are amazing sounding, but they are a bit complex to just plug-in use. The Razer app is critical for you to set it in a way that you like. You can adjust anything on it all the way down to the equalizer to amplify or suppress any frequency you want. It really is amazing… But you have to be ready as these are not simply great plug and play Headphones… You need to take a little time in figure them out.
Honestly... I went through 4 different head sets before settling on this one. This one has the best overall sound and quality. Forget about the Mic though, but it does get the job done. For tuning and comfort and overall dramatic sounds, this is the best buy. I was able to pick this up at $79.99 when it was on sale. If they are putting a 2nd generation of this headset, I would recommend it, but is it worth the original $199.99 price for the 2nd gen? I would say yes it is! This is one of the best headsets for sounds and quality you can get. I compared this to the Steelseries Nova 7, and it is trash compared to this one. Grab this while you still can! Nothing compares to it! Trust me, best buy saw me go through so many exchanges before settling with these. Worth the Buy!
I bought this headset when my previous ones had failed. I specifically looked for something that was recommended for glasses users and this is what I found. I've yet to have any discomfort with this headset, it has a notch on the ear cups to accommodate glasses and a generous pad on the headband. as for sound quality it is one of the best headsets I've ever used, very crisp and can be easily adjusted on the headset or in the razer synapse app for a lot more control. The most unique part of this headset is it's haptics that give you feedback whenever there is a sound in game. If a tank is rolling by you feel it. Likewise if you're riding a horse you feel the "pit pat" of its running. 100% recommend.
