I'm very happy with this Lasko heater . The tower works wonders in getting out the cold and making my room a warm comfy place to work . I use the remote control all the time and find it very convenient. Very quiet when on full force. Impressed. This has worked out well for a medium sized bedroom and we've used it on occasion to heat a larger media/movie room. It's quiet and the automatic temperature mode works pretty well. Can't speak to reliability since I've only had it a few weeks but Lasko is a known brand so figure it would work well. It's way to small to heat anything more than a medium sized bedroom but for that job it's quite effective. Starts heating up pretty quick and seems to get the room to temperature in a quick amount of time.

So I bought this for a single car garage to take the edge off while I work out. Two of the walls are connected to the house and the garage is not insulated, and I am located in a pretty cold state. It is ~296 sq.ft. I didn't expect it to heat the place up by much, as I said it was just kind of to take the edge off. However, it didn't do much. The first time I ran it for an hour, the 2nd and 3rd times I ran it for two hours, all on max heat and oscillating. It did heat it up but not by much. I've had $30 ones that were a 1/3 of the size do the same thing if not slightly better. I have experienced much better ones that cost slightly more. I guess this is one of those "you get what you pay for" scenarios. I would not buy this again.

I love almost everything about this heater. This works better than just about every space heater I've tried! And I wouldn't currently be looking for another one if it wasn't for this ONE dangerous flaw.. No tip over protection! Please, please be careful if you have small children or especially pets! This will tip over and continue to blow heat onto whatever surface you have it on, face DOWN, and it will get so incredibly hot! Thank goodness I didn't have it on carpet! I never would have bought it if I would have known there wasn't tip over shut off protection. Never.
I previously have a smaller Lesko space heater and it worked very well for four years. I do trust the Lesko brand so I purchased the new 22" version for my basement room that is about 400 sqr. ft.It heats it beautifully! It has both a timer and is temperature adjustable and it heats my space very well. I am so pleased with this heater I would not spend two to three times as much on some other hazardous electric heaters. This has over heat protection which helps to ensure its longevity. In my opinion you can't go wrong with this heater. Oh, I also love the swivel movement that ensures that it heats the whole room not just the immediate area.

Savings remained roughly the same. This path was a lot cheaper than the $5000.00+ price tag of upgrading an undersized central air unit 5 years ago. The first season in electric heat bill savings pays of the unit may times over in my estimation. Regardless of where I've placed this unit, I've never had to set the thermostat setting more than 70°. I purchased this space heater for my garage. I have my home office set up in there and the other half is my home gym. I live in Los Angeles so in the winter months the temp hovers around 40-50 at times.my garage is attached to my home so I leave the door open and that combined with the heater works perfectly. It beats the entire garage within about an hour and makes it comfortable enough for me to work or workout. I love the oscillating feature, and the remote makes controlling the temperature for my desk so much easier. That way I can have the heater far enough away from me so that I don’t get too hot while allowing the room to heat up. Great value for the money.
This tower heater is perfect for any space. It’s very quiet and can heat a large room. It has many settings that will fit any need. 3 heat settings and a where you can set your temperature and it will do the rest. It has a handy remote that also clips on the back of heater for easy storage. It doesn’t take up much space with its tower design. It can go in any corner. And it oscillates! At my last apartment, I ran into an issue where the plug would get very warm after limited use. If this happens, it is not normal and not safe. It is also not always because of the appliance (faulty breaker or bad wiring). So make sure to use a wall outlet that is safely supplying electricity to the heater. This hasn't occurred since moving into my new home.
