Redken All Soft Mega Curls Conditioner 300 ml

Redken All Soft Mega is a thicker, more humectant conditioning product that’s texture is closer to an ointment than usual cream conditioner. It spreads easily through the hair and works well when used as a conditioning mask. This product contains an “aloe + 7% nourish complex” that hydrates and strengthens severely dry, course hair. I had used the original Redken All Soft in the past with last than impressive results, but this conditioner delivered on it’s claims. It is literally the first hair conditioner I’ve used that’s made my course hair feel soft. This product is available at Ulta for $24. Though it would be too heavy for anyone with thin or fine hair, I recommend it for anyone with thick, course hair who struggles with moisture and hydration issues. Absolutely not for fine hair.

The conditioner in this line is AMAZING but if you have fine hair that is prone to getting greasy quickly STAY AWAY from this shampoo. Some of the very first ingredients in this product are Dimethicone and Amodimethicone which cause a waxy build up in your hair. Stay away from shampoos with any ingredients ending with "cone" because their job is to make your hair "feel' soft and silky but coat your hair leaving a horrible residue! Redken is a wonderful company, but you have to know your hair type and what it can handle. If you have fine hair like me, stay away from this shampoo. Educate yourself before purchasing shampoos if your hair is important to you and to keep yourself from spending so much money on products that do not work for you.

Amazing results hair has never look so good

I have never used the brand Redken before so I don’t have an opinion on it. And rinsed out the shampoo I then Applied a small amount of conditioner and left for about five mins whilst I shaved i then rinsed the conditioner out And that was that part done. Once I was out I towel dried my hair and then got a pea sized amount of leave in conditioner, rubbed together with my hands and then applied to my hair. I did use a hair dryer and wow first thing I couldn’t believe was that it definatly did help with detangling my hair usually my hair is so tangled it’s a nightmare. Another thing I noticed it smelled amazing!!!!! Once dried my hair felt so soft minus the frizz. Usually I can’t find the perfect combo of frizz and softness! But these worked amazingly on my hair. I had literally no fly always and my hair looks really healthy. I would give this a 10/10 it’s amazing it’s actually really given me a confidence boost as my hair looks amazing! FULL OF SULFATES AND SILICONES

I never never ever write reviews but I had to for this one! Please do not buy this product. The first few ingredients are Sodium Laureth Sulfate and dimethicone. These sulfates and silicones are so bad for the hair and creates a waxy layer over the hair that can cause damage and breakage! After my first few washes my hair started to feel like straw and I felt a thick nasty coating over my hair! The shampoo also smells like straight chemicals it's awful. This is honestly the worst shampoo I've ever used, the Pantene shampoo I used before this was better. After finding out about the sulfates and silicones in this product it all made sense. Gave me extreme contact dermatitis

I never experienced a reaction to shampoo or conditioner until I tried the All Soft line from Redken. It took me three days to figure out that the culprit was the shampoo and conditioner, and it was three days of having bright red, water blistered, hive riddled, itchy face, neck, and lips - felt like my lips were burning off and the only thing that made them feel better was Vaseline. At first I actually thought I had managed to somehow chemically burn my face, which wasn't the case. I've used other Redken products with no issues, but this set really massacred my skin.

I keep coming back to it!

I've tried everything on my hair. I have 2c-3a curls, very fine individual hairs, but an absolute TON of it. This results in extremely tangled, frizzy hair that takes forever to manage. Frustrated and frizzy and honestly ready to shave my head, I went back to my old friend All Soft (and leveled up to the Mega version), and washing my hair is pleasant again! The comb goes through like butter, and my hair feels soft and pliable. Hallelujah!

My new staple!

I absolutely love this shampoo! It is my new go to! The things I look for in a shampoo is, a affective cleaning ability without stripping my hair, no scalp irritation, no excessive shedding in the shower. It checks all of my necessities! The scent is really soft and salon like I personally love it. But I've noticed I do shed a lot of hair with other shampoos like pureology for some odd reason. I just really love the entire all soft line. The conditioner, heavy cream treatment, the new leave in treatment and the argan oil are all AMAZING. my hair strands are medium to thick and I have a lot of them. On the bottom half of my hair there is color and bleach damage. The top half is virgin hair for reference. The entire line leaves my hair perfect! Shampoo & Conditioner

HOLY GRAIL! So, I had overly bleached hair, (I must have bleached it 6+ times in the span of a few months), and I had 300g of 28” nano bead extensions in at the same time. When I had my extensions out- especially because they were placed on freshly bleached hair… you can imagine what that pile of hair on the floor looked like. I didn’t think I could ever come back from what my hair looked like. It was sparse, I had bald spots, it was like a long bob in length- it was soul destroying. BUT, I found this shampoo and I cannot tell you how incredible this shampoo really is. I initially bought it because I thought it was a shampoo and conditioner but, it wasn’t haha. I can safely say I am now bleaching my hair once a year and only having extensions in on one special occasion per year. But honestly, buy this, maybe even in the conditioner and shampoo set. You won’t regret it. I promise.

U WILL LOOSE UR HAIR - Do not buy

I used redkin for so long, made my hair feel so nice but i always noticed my hair would fall out really bad during and after showers. Thought it was just my genetics or something (my moms hair also was falling out but she was ALSO using redkin) My now hair stylist took one look at my hair and asked if i went through severe depresson or anxiety because of how much breakage and hair loss i had. She told me redkin is KMOWM to make your hair fall out and switched me to amika and i havent lost any hair since. Neither has my mom. Until i barrowed some of my friends redkin shampoo on a vacation and my hair legit was breakinc again. Save your hair and your body from whatever toxins they put in that stuff!

Used consistently for ~6mo and now I'm shedding

Long 1B hair that's never been treated. I've used the shampoo and conditioner together for about 6 months now, and my hair has been shedding for the past three weeks. The shampoo helped my hair feel soft in the first few months of use, which is why I then got the conditioner to match, but now I've had like 10ish hairs come off my wide tooth comb every time I wash and gently comb the ends of my wet hair to apply conditioner--more will come out when I brush my hair later in the day. I think the All Soft system may work for some people but this has just damaged my hair over the long run. And I have to admit that I don't see the same results as when I first started using. Since I got the jumbo sizes, I'll probably retry these in the future for shorter periods of time, ... MoreLong 1B hair that's never been treated.
