T/7x is the perfect answer for the real world. It’s compact enough (and beautiful enough) to end arguments before they begin; while powerful enough to easily answer most needs and balanced enough to blend beautifully with many of the quality speakers out there and still flexible enough to work in specialty applications.

I admit I really enjoy my music much better at lower sound levels now. I do not have to turn my MC611 pass 25 to enjoy any music. As mentioned they do extend the sound stage. I play my system nearly everyday and enjoy the sound so much better. I just purchased my first pair in November and my second pair is already on order. The best feeling is purchasing these subwoofers and having no regrets about the purchase. I am finding it difficult purchasing a high streamer, when the system sounds great with what I have now. Excellent product and customer service is great as well.

Recently purchased a pair of Zu Omen Def Supremes. Felt they were missing something below 100Hz. I'm running a Prima Luna 2 channel tube power amp and a AI M3B pre, so no sub output. Discovered REL and their speaker level setups. Seemed like the ideal solution. And indeed it was / is. Planned on buying a second sub eventually, but I don't think there is a need. This little 7" sub added what was missing and disappears into the background. Blends seamlessly with the Zus. High qualiy construction. Easy setup. Plenty of adjustment with detents for crossover and volume and ability to adjust phase. Not "boomy" at all. Very precise, musical, and a great value at $1k. Suitable to complement speakers costing many thousands more.

I purchased two REL S812's from my REL and Wilson Audio dealer when I purchased a pair of Alexia speakers. I already had a pair of high end subs; however, my dealer stated to me that I needed faster more responsive subs to get the best sound out of my system. He was right! I have my REL S812’s set up right next to my Alexia’s in a stereo format. I also upgraded the interconnect cable from REL to the Baseline Blue and WOW! It sounds even better which is hard to believe. The things that I like most about the REL S812’s are: the subtleness of sound and how much it fills out my soundstage, they integrate so nicely with my system that you don’t realize they are in the room, because they integrate so nicely they sound like part of your system and you don’t get any of that ... Oh, did I mention that I like my REL S812’s so much that I bought a REL T9X for my office set up that sounds amazing with my bookshelf speakers! Your system will be so happy that you added a REL subwoofer and your ears will smile!!

I purchased 2 Rel S812's and those subwoofers integrate perfectly with my floor standing speakers. I've purchased other subwoofers in the past I wont mention names and there is no comparison. Rels hands down are the most musical subwoofers you will ever find. Don't waste your money like I did on other brands. You'll be wasting your time. There's a reason why they cost what they cost. When Rels say 800 watts continously, you can feel the power on your seats and its controlled power its clean and crisp. Not only is it a great product, their customer service is unreal. They treat you like a Rolls-Royce client when they tell you they warranty their products they warranty it. When something goes wrong no questions asked they take care of it right then and there. If the REL-T/7X did half the things claimed in reviews I read while researching subwoofers I'd have been happy but it does them all. I got the setup and calibration done in under 40 minutes. A good match for my B&W floor standers and since it is now doing the sub-bass duties it has freed my B&W's up to do more of what they were meant to do. Bass is superb with the added bonuses of a larger soundstage and more detailed music reproduction.Recordings I thought I knew inside out have revealed new details and subtleties. This sub will make a massive upgrade to your system.
The Rel T/7x - Black has completely changed my stereo system. Imaging has improved, mids and highs pop, and the bass finally sounds musical. The Rel is working with a pair of 1980 vintage Klipsch Heresy’s, which are a little weak on bass extension, but sound wonderful. The Rel makes the Heresy’s inherent bass weakness disappear. Whether I’m listening to vinyl or cd’s or even streaming, there is a marked difference of the sound quality. After two weeks I’m still tuning the crossover and gain a bit, mostly lowering both as the Rel breaks in. The high level connection is game changing. Thanks for making such a great product.the faj
I purchased this item around 1 month ago, so still fine tuning. It is partnered with an Ambeo Max.The power and control from this sub is amazing, in honesty is most probably too large for the Ambeo Max, however my open plan ground floor volume (est 150m³) may have seen the smaller T5 sounding a little lost.Matching the cross over and volume levels has been relatively easy, and just needs minor adjustment as more time is spent fine tuning to my taste. The sub handles anything that is thrown at it with ease, I have the volume around 40% and could be at times considered too loud.Build quality and aesthetic are brilliant.Spent time in Manchester store discussing at length and, staff as always very helpful plugged this into an Ambeo max and let me play about. ... Firstly, I loved the colour look of the Subwoofer Piano black. It is very classy. The sound is something else, especially with the separate levels for the pre-set option. This makes my system sound like it's worth 20K, not 2K. The chaps helped me set it up and re-tuned to re-calibrate posts the 40-hour run time, which is a must, and all I can say is it blows the socks of the family and friends. If you can afford one, get this Rel T7X. These guys have been making subs forever and are the leaders after doing extensive research. 5 Stars.
Running PM8006 with Oberon 5s, Spotify Premium through Blu Sound Node. A Rel t5x also in the setup. Been looking for some lower fuller lowend for 2.1 music only. Considering the Lintons as the next step. Do not want to give up the Dalis though. In steps the t7x, never in my wildest expectations did I expect the change. The t7x raised the entire soundfield to a level I never thought possible. From fuller highs to deeper bass and everything has more detail and seperation. I tried SVS sb1000, micro 3000, rel t5x as a keeper, but none of these did what the t7x did. To die for sound . I have been working this room for nearly 4 years now. 20 sets of speakers 5 subs and 6 amps. T7x is the crowning jewel. Zero Fidelity on u tube did a review of the previous rel 7 model. His ... Makes a significant contribution to the overall sound quality. The music sounds so much more complex and interesting than without a subwoofer. This is not a boom box. It is a quality musical instrument. I highly recommend it. I will be considering a second one in the future. I have the Arrow wireless module that makes placement much easier. I highly recommend it
