15 years ago I bought my first Remington trimmer. It was the most basic trimmer (you know the one with the wheel, that gives you 5 cutting lengths!) and has been a faithful tool in my "grooming" kit ever since. I decided last month that it was really time to upgrade as it was starting to not be as efficient, so I thought I'd treat myself to a new fancier model which also included the foil head attachment for that "oh so smooth" finish. What ended up was a disaster of a trimming session and lets just say things down there aren't looking much better than a haphazardly chainsawed forest. I'm really disappointed in this product and wish I'd just got the basic trimmer again. Sigh.

I wish I had read the reviews on this! The edges are so sharp and cut the skin all I can say is ouch! Doesn’t even remove the hair it is crap! Please buy a different product and don’t waste your money!

This was a great product while it lasted. It didn't give a completely close shave, but it worked well enough to do an at home grooming job. It didn't snag, no ingrown hairs, and it removed hair properly and effectively. BUT, after two years of regular usage (I only use it about once a month when I can't make it to an appointment), it completely stopped working. What a waste! I'm off to find a longer lasting product...
Maybe the mini trimmer and exfoliating brush would be worth like $15? But in terms of actual hair removal, this is garbage. I don't even have that much hair, but with not being able to get in for a wax right now (doesn't seem like an essential thing during a global pandemic!) I figured Remington had a good reputation and I'd give this a try. I have the pink version but it's the same mechanics/blades. It's just not a close shave when it *does* cut and when it does it's all spotty and not consistent. Big thumbs down on this one. Don't spend your $ on this.
First one was great, had around 5 years, then it just stopped working. Brought new one about 1 year ago, got it out of cupboard last week, it was snapped in half. Brought another new one (as I like how it works) took out of box, it was snapped in half. Took back & it was replaced with same, took home, it was snapped in half - same place all three. Definitely different quality to original purchase. I choose a different type for last replacement.
Same as all the other reviews here, this product snapped clean in half after only a few weeks of use. Do no buy, absolutely cannot recommend the product.
After using this product a handful of times, it began to slow down, so changed the battery a few times but made no difference, the trimmer just ended up stopping completely. Slight waste of money.
After 3 months of use the whole unit completely snapped. Looking at the reviews it seems I’m not the only one with this issue. Don’t waste your money.
recently, i wanted to treat myself and upgrade from disposable razors to something more classy and effective and long-lasting. i talked to a seller at the shaver shop and she suggested this razor. this is genuinely the worst thing i have ever witnessed. i was battling it out in the shower with my leg hairs, scraping and scraping my skin with this godawful thing trying to cut at least a strand. when it does cut, it's not smooth, it cuts like 0.1 millimetres above the root of the hair so you look like you've shaved and it's grown out after you've shaved. youll probably see more results watering a garden at the bottom of the ocean. this is genuinely the worst thing ever and this purchase pretty much ruined my day and i want my money back.
