It is also a full coverage, long-wearing formula, that required me to triple cleanse in order to thoroughly remove all traces of it from my skin. Upon initial application, the foundation looked good, with a natural finish, however unfortunately it started to oxidise and look a bit orange after a couple of hours of wear time, which was disappointing. I disliked the fragrance in this foundation, it was a bit too strong. I also disliked how dry it left my skin feeling after use, despite the inclusion of hyaluronic acid. Therefore, I’d recommend still applying a good hydrating serum and moisturiser beforehand, especially if you have oily-combination skin. What that tells me is that it should, not only last all day, but the hyaluronic acid will help to hydrate and plump my skin so this should look good over any texture or fine lines I have. The niacinamide should also help to control oil which will also help with the foundation's longevity. I would use my fingers if I just wanted a light coverage, just adding it to those areas that need evening out to give a natural finish. But my preferred way of using this foundation is to buff it into the skin with a dense brush, then go over it with a damp beauty sponge to melt it into your skin. It gives a flawless finish, with great coverage and a blurring effect. My skin's texture and wrinkles are just nowhere to be seen with this foundation on. It wore beautifully all day, even around my T zone which usually needs fixing up during the day, I added powder after lunch, but more from habit rather than needing to touch up. This is my new go to foundation, definitely worth trying l can highly recommend this foundation.

The inclusion of SPF is also a favourite of mine as it gives great SPF coverage without having to use further products which can lead to a build up of products, causing movement. Overall this is a great foundation which I'd recommend across all skin types, but especially for oily skin as it takes care to counter the negative effects of oily skin. They seem to have a great range of darker shades to offer. • Downfalls: It is not ideal for dry skin, after long wear, it left dry patches on my face. While it claims to be hydrating (with hyaluronic acid, and 2% niacinamide) after long wear, my skin felt dry and heavy so it is more suited for normal to combination skin. I recommend it, especially set with powder and setting spray, it will stay put all day. I was out playing sports, sweating in the hot sun and a full day of activities, but the foundation stayed in place. I would however wear it for shorter periods of time, over heavy moisturiser. Dry patches are really not ideal and I would usually opt for a more dewy, moisturising foundation over this one if you have dry skin.

I did not find major creasing overall, neither excess oiliness in my T-zone area, both which I usually start feeling towards the end of a typical working day. Although, I do like to wear a primer so that does help. A special mention for the colour match which was spot on. Being olive toned, it’s always nice to find a good match! I am pleased to find that this foundation is also cruelty free and vegan. All in all, this foundation is a winner for me. This new formula seems to suit me really me - I can see from others that used the OG formula they say it is different - this I can’t comment on.I’ve recently returned to buying Rimmel as they are now cruelty free.This formula has 2% Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid - a dehydrated skin type dream.
