Way better than I expected

This switcher was dropped in my lap to use by my boss and I was skeptical at first but now it has proven to be very useful on solo gigs and with small production crew setups.Love being able to assign and route inputs and outputs. Having SDI and HDMI for in and out is so great.Started using it with our PTZ Optics cameras recently. Setting up preset camera positions that are easy to recall during an event.Having 4 PIP and the AUX send is freaking awesome.It is super easy to capture an image from an input and save into a still slot. Use it for meeting agendas or corporate logos to be displayed between sessions. With one push of button it recalls Program output, AUX output, PIP and Preview selections all at once.It is a pricey unit but you don't need any computer to take advantage of most features unlike an ATEM Mini. But you can use a computer or iPad if you want. The only thing I really use the computer for is the initial setup of PTZ camera preset shoots. Then I disconnect computer and don't use.I could talk ages about how great this unit is. The have been releasing updates since we got it that have made it better and better.I REALLY like this unit, we also have the much cheaper V-8HD. That unit is ok and kind of smaller brother to the V160HD but not nearly as flexible for inputs and outputs, but way cheaper price.
