The breeder had my Great Dane on garbage puppy chow. I transitions her to this on recommendation from my vet who has a degree in K9 nutrition. The calcium and phosphorus fat/protein ration are perfect for a Great Dane giant breed. Harlow’s poops are less often, she hasn’t messed in the house since putting her on this and she eats it all up eagerly. She can’t wait for me to put her bowl down to eat this. Vet said she can stay on it up to 1.5 years then go to giant junior then giant adult. My last Dane died of bone cancer at 4 years old so I want to be really cautious about what the nutrition ratios are for this puppy

I bought this for my Mastiff puppy after feeding her Candiae for a month like my breeder suggested. Since beginning this, she instantly had better looking, healthier stools, her stomach has not been upset once, and she is actually growing and gaining like she is supposed to be. She has put on over 40lbs of healthy, necessary weight since beginning RC Giant Puppy. She loves the food, always cleans her bowl and craves more...she loves this food so much that I am able to use it as treats! Her coat has never looked better either!! I will never use another food for my Georgie Bell!

Large puppies have special needs and this product certainly helps. The first puppy had a major skin problem and we did everything possible and got to the point where we contemplated of having her put down until someone mentioned this product so we tried it and made it part of her everyday diet with other foods and it certainly helped. no more skin problems ,Hooray,We did not hesitate to bring our 2nd puppy up on it .

Our Saint Bernard puppy loves this food. We tried several before finding one he would eat without toppers. He was the runt of his litter and not gaining weight well. We started him on this food at 10 weeks old and now at 6 months he's 120 pounds and extremely healthy. My only complaint would be that it's pretty expensive, a 30lb bag lasts exactly 2 weeks, but he's doing so well on it that it's worth it.
I have a Husky and he was so sensitive to anything else. My vet recommended Royal Canine and my Husky loves it!!! His tummy loves it. He’s happy and very healthy and I won’t purchase anything else. He’s now 4 months old and such a happy boy. Looks forward to breakfast and dinner lol.I have a Pomeranian as well he he won’t eat hard food other then Royal Canine. He was a wet food only dog. We purchased the puppy food for Apollo and had to try the small dog formula on Jake and he’s in love. He’s almost 4 and a very picky eater. He absolutely loves your brand. I had been using a different puppy food for my Great Dane but after talking to my vet she recommended getting something else. After some research I found Royal Canin and it was the best choice and had the best reviews. My puppy loves it. I mixed some of the old food with the new to help with the switch but after about two days she was leaving the old food in the bowl and only picking out the Royal Canin.
My 4 month old Irish Wolfhound puppy loves this food. I have previously tried her with Supercoat Puppy and Black Hawk Puppy but this is definitely her favourite. The kibble size is larger, which is good because she is losing her baby teeth right now and loves chewing everything.

He has definitely put on some much needed weight and his coat looks amazing. We will probably keep him on this formula until he turns a year old in 4 months. At that time, we will switch him to a Royal Canin adult formula. I can't say enough great things about this food. If you have a giant breed puppy, this should definitely be your go-to food!
Our Neapolitan Mastiff puppy has a sensitive tummy. She had diarrhea and very loose stools. The breeder had started the puppies on Diamond large breed puppy food and we tried Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food. Nothing worked. The vet did all the testing and then put her on the high energy gastro food. That did it. We transitioned to this food and she is doing great! These puppies grow fast. From 8 wks to 11 wks, she grew 10 pounds. My only challenge with this food is finding it. No one local carries it and the online retailers run out of stock. Please find more retailers!
We have tried our 10 week old Saint Bernard puppy on Dr. Barry's Best Breed and Whole Hearted large breed puppy and he did not like either. He wouldn't eat any dry food unless I topped it with chicken broth. Our vet recommended Royal Canin and when so received it I immediately gave him a bowl to try and he devoured the entire bowl in about 60 seconds. He continues to love it, eats it like it's a treat instead of dry dog food. I like that it's formulated for him. The only thing I don't like, is that it has very limited actual meat, just chicken by product meal, which I have found to be the case with all the large breed puppy foods I have looked at. And it's a bit pricey, but it's worth the price since meal time is no longer a fight with him.
