Royal Doulton Pacific Dinner Plate

I had been searching for dinnerware with a simple, clean, blue on white design with no luck. All design available on the market is overdone in my opinion. Enter Royal Doulton Pacific Dots. I love it. Will complement with a solid blue salad plate from Ikea for a bit of variation. Very happy customer!

Bought these to add to a plain white dinner service where I have lost a few pieces. Whites are very hard to match but these fit perfectly. Only thing I would say they seem larger than the average sized dinner and side plates. Dinner plates are so large will not fit in my wall cupboards so have had to go below

I received these plates last Christmas -- so nearly a year ago -- and I have been extremely impressed with their durability. We have a cast iron sink that has been very unforgiving on our glass or ceramic dinnerware and glasses. We have lost more than a few items and chipped twice as many more since moving into our home. But not with the Royal Doulton plates. Our son has plopped them in the sink and banged silverware on them, they have been dropped on the floor, and banged into each other. Despite all this, on they go unskathed, un scratched, and unchipped. I knew I wanted porcelain plates because of their durability but, due to our family's clumsiness, was wary of the cost. I have been very impressed with these plates though and would definitely buy them again!
