I’ve had this chainsaw for a few weeks now and I highly recommend it.Unlike petrol or 240v electric chainsaws that take a bit of time to get ready before you can start work, this one is ready to go after clipping in the charged battery and checking the oil level through the transparent panel.It is lightweight and easy to use. The chain speed is fast for a cordless chainsaw and makes it easy to slice through branches and wood cuttings.My previous Ryobi electrical corded chainsaw used to go through oil very quickly and the chain needed tightening regularly, but i haven’t needed to top up the oil or tighten the chain after 3 cutting sessions on this chainsaw, so I’m spending more time cutting and less time fiddling with it.It seems a cut above other Ryobi products ... Used for camping to get firewood (river red gum). So much better than a petrol. Cuts easier, no fumes, no issues starting and cuts better!! Win

Bought this little machine and it is very powerful and you get a great range on the battery. Easily cut through trees 100 mm wide, and is not too big but packs a punch. So good not having to mix fuel and carry a jerry can. And you can transport in car without the fumes. Very easy to use and adjust. Just need it a few times a year so perfect

After looking at reviews on YouTube about this chainsaw, I was a little bit hesitant about forking out the money to buy this machine. But after having used it, it left me in no doubt to how good this chainsaw is. The days are gone old pulling the petrol chainsaw off the shelf and then spending hundreds of dollars to get it going. Now all I have to do is top the bar oil up and whack a full battery in it and the environmentally friendly chainsaw massacre is on again!
Be careful - I just tried to get a replacement battery for my 36V Ryobi chainsaw (RCS36B35), which came with a 5Ah battery. It turns out that they only make 4Ah or 6Ah batteries now, and even the 4Ah one has sharper corners and doesn’t fit into the rounded battery slot, which on my model surrounds the battery. Fancy having to throw out a perfectly good chainsaw because the battery designer has changed the shape of the battery cases!!!
great chainsaw plenty of power and light. Use it for fire wood. I get good amount of fire wood because I have a 5.0Ah battery from my Brushless law mower which is great to .l have a lot of ryobi tools and love them all.
The chainsaw works really well, it certainly has the same feel, and weight of a two stroke version. The only issue, and it's being picky, I purchased mine during a Covid lockdown, picked it up click and collect, and assumed there would be chain oil with it.No big deal, especially as we're out of lockdowns, but a "customers also purchased chain and bar oil" might have been a prompt.
I bought this ryobi chainsaw 3 month ago and have finally used it. I love how easy to use for a woman. Easy to clean and adjust chain. My husband likes it for small jobs on the farm instead of his petrol chainsaw. Only thing is I could do with a another battery. Gardening is so much easier using Ryobi products wish I had then years ago. Thanks Ryobi.

I was hesitant at first buying an electric chainsaw wondering if it would have the power needed to do its job to a high degree.Having worse Quality in the past it did makeMe second guess this purchase. I decided to go with it! I certainly wasn’t disappointed at all straight out of the box just needed some bar and chain oil and I was good to go. Works perfectly and lasts longer than I expected
