Much better then the the other underpowered cordless grinders Ryobi offers. I upgraded to this model after having issues with the cheaper ones on offer at Bunnings. Staff were friendly and allowed me to exchange grinders and pay the difference.This Will go through steel and aluminium ok, not as amazing as a corded grinder but I've not been able to bring it to a halt just trying to cut things.You can use the tool free nut with your hands but the included tool is easier and a great option after things are warm and sitting tightly after use.Adjustable grip and guard is good. Battery life is ok.

Great quality and versatile tool. Lightweight and easy to use, definitely recommend.
I bought this for what I thought was a relatively small job and the grinder performs well. I just wish I bought the 240v version as the 5ah battery lasts a very short time ~8 mins or so. Because the batteries are drained so quickly they get hot and can’t charge until they cool down. Then the charger takes hours to charge. All in all a bit disappointing.
Great little performer but very power hungry. Make sure you have plenty of batteries charged up because if you need to do more than a quick job then you will need them.
Handy tool when cutting roofing tiles etc where you don't want to lug an extension cable. It does suffer a lower RPM than a corded unit but that's the price you pay for portability.However, I don't think much of the trigger and its safety switch, takes a lot of getting used to. I liked the tool free arbor lock. Blade guard is a bit big and obstructs vision.
Okay so I like it, alot. It is powerful enough for my needs working on cars and roofs and DIY stuff. BUT! You need to careful buying this, it is expensive, and with a decent amp battery attached it is long and hard to fit into places. Most importantly the locking device that you use to change the disc (see pic) is extremely hard to push down and I mean extremely hard, I have strong hands and it is still very difficult. So if you are thinking of buying one have a practice run in the shop changing the disc out as you might find it is just too difficult. Do it more than once as I've found that when I am swapping discs back and forward, after a while it becomes completely impossible. Even with strong hands! Still I love it. It is a beast!
