I purchased this as an easy tidy up solution to remove the leaves around my back door and on paths around the house, due to my age and arthritis.This light weight unit gets the job done fast and effectively with a lot less effort, time and pain, than trying to use a broom.I would thoroughly recommend this product for small areas for a great result.

Got this one on special recently and it's killed any misgivings I had about blowers completely. Has been used multiple times weekly for cleaning up grass after a mow and edge, blowing out chalk and dirt from the gym and general maintenance of garden edges and surfaces. Decent runtime from the included 5mah battery and yet to run it flat on a 900m2 block. Tool is light and well balanced. No gripes with this one at all - great tool I now wouldn't be without.

My wife bought me the Cordless Blower Kit RBL1850S for Xmas 2016 & I have been using it since. Surprisingly effective for it's light weight & cost. No maintenance yet very effective for blowing leaves & small debris around.Three observations are-It needs at least the 5aH battery supplied. It does chew through power. Sustained use can flatten a large battery although it is easy to swap.Noisy - it does make a lot of noise for an electric blower. Not as loud as a 2 stroke though.The battery fastening points on the blower body are a bit weak. I dropped it a couple of times & the weight of the battery broke the fastening points off. So pleased I bought this to replace my old petrol blower that died. Light weight, easy to operate and control. Quiet and efficient. Enough run time to clean paths, drive, garage, carport, large outdoor paved living area on my 1/4 acre block. As a 70+ woman I love the on off button, no pull start, and being able to turn it on and off when I change areas. Powerful enough without just blowing the mess everywhere like stronger blowers...you can control where the mess is going. Every home should have one. Having tried this I purchased the Ryobi One+ hedge trimmer kit....love it too.
I bought this mainly for my wife, at her request, to tidy up just outside the house. I have a powerful corded blower for our very long driveway that she doesn't like using as it's heavy and awkward to use.It's more powerful than I expected though. Now I use it for the big jobs like the driveway, as well as paths, the balcony and carport. Battery life is great! I haven't used my corded blower since, and that's surprising as we're on a semi-bush property with lots of trees, so leaves are a problem.

Being light weight and ergonomic, it is easy to use without any strain on an older body while being so convenient and good to go at any time. I purchased this as an add on to my Ryobi One tools and mainly for small clean up jobs around the yard, patio and shed. I have found it to be far more useful than anticipated and easily caters for jobs that I relied on my 2 stroke blower to do. The benefit is that it's much lighter, no mixing fuel, no fumes and reduced noise. The power is impressive, battery life is good, but because I have existing 18v tools and batteries, I always have charged batteries in reserve.
My black and decker version got damaged in recent floods. Use Ryobi for most other basic garden items and pleasantly surprised. Comfy grip, I think twice as strong as the orange black and decker I had even on its top speed. Quieter also and nose seems to shape better for blowing.Got the battery and charger version as 2Ah batteries for drills probably would need charging every other day. Very happy.
We've had ours now for about six months, and use it to clean up the driveway after mowing or blow the garage clean of sawdust etc from my woodworking.Frankly, I thought it would be a bit of a toy and didn't hold great expectations, but it is Really Very Good.The air stream is strong and can shift leaves, dirt, sawdust and other crappola. (It is also excellent for scaring the family cat, but that is another story).It doesn't seem to chew the battery quickly, and battery swapping is quick and easy. The grip is comfortable and easy to use. (Wife also reports that it is easier to ride than her Nimbus 2000).Seriously though...It is a solid product, and I feel good about the purchase every time I use it.Would recommend.
