Wide toebox. Excellent grip on trailrun terrain (eg loose sand) plus it is very light. This surprised me the most.Do keep in mind that this of course has no GoreTex.

Awesome shoes all around

I purchased these shoes about a month ago. Normally I wear boots for my day to day and only wear sneakers for specific things. These are so comfortable I’ve been wearing them way more than normal. The tread is amazing and super aggressive and the design is great. This is the 4th total pair of Salomon’s I’ve owned and I’ve never been disappointed. I really enjoy the color scheme. Being a service member I wanted shoes with a subdued look to them, and these definitely fit the bill. Awesome shoes all around, comfort, traction, appearance, all top notch.

Decent

I bought these shoes about a month ago. The sole has already begun to fall apart in multiple places, grips are ripping in half. The grip is starting to come of the sole of the shoe. The shoe is becoming unreliable for work use.

First purchase, and so far so good.

In my opinion, Salomon Forces shoes are head and shoulders above standard Salomon shoes, which are head and shoulders above most other footwear. The Speedcross 6 Forces are a comfortably familiar and slightly more stable feel to my old Speedcross 4’s. Two thumbs up, thus far. My shopping experience for my first purchase from them: Easy, efficient, great price (on sale), very fast shipping, and otherwise flawless experience. Two thumbs way way up!! 4/5 stars simply because it’s only been less than a month.

Great Fitting X-trainers

These were my first Salomons. I now understand why everyone raves about them. Great support, traction, fit, and lightweight. I was doubtful of the tension lace system, but it has held up under rigorous running on rough terrain. Def recommend.

Great Shoe

I have 4 pairs of the speed cross from version 4 to 6 . Great shoe but would prefer that the 6 was all black like the 5. I do not like the grey accents. I’m required to wear all black shoe to work and now I cannot wear these shoes.

Most comfortable running shoe I've owned

I have a medium with foot but most running shoes pinch my toes leaving a hot spot. These a cut just a little wider in the toes eliminating the problem. They feel like they are custom made for my foot.

Trail runnin' door kickin' shoes -- fit perfectly, the right balance between stability and cushion, good traction, and no reflection so you can wear them on a peaceful run or on the battlefield. 10/10 would recommend.

solid shoes

Got these a few weeks ago. I wore Salomons foreces while in the US Army and loved them, so thought I'd pick up a pair of these following my retirement. They are sharp, comfortable and supportive. Highly recommend.
