Really nice suitcase and practical details like the handles. I preferred the D'lite to the Airea, functionality, e.g. expandable, straps, material quality, just seemed better despite the slightly larger weight. Airea seemed really basic considering the similar price point. Too early to determine quality but looks sturdy.

I used this suitcase for a 10 day holiday fitting in clothes for both warm and cooler weather. It fit everything I wanted to take despite me initially thinking it was a little small. The expanding section was helpful to have, giving that extra bit of space. The wheels and handle had a very smooth mechanism making the case easy to manoeuvre. Having an inside zipped pocket inside was useful, though I would have also liked a pouch in the inside on the side of the bag to tuck away smaller items. The colour (navy) gave the bag a stylish look. The handles were shaped well to allow a comfortable grip. Instructions to unpop and reset the zipper lock and sticky labels for the name and address tag were inside the zipped section of the bag.

I've used this several times for weekend getaways abroad. Found it to be very spacious. The external zipped section is great, especially to hold travel sized toiletries.It's lightweight, sturdy and very easy to manoeuvre.
I had treated myself to a Samsonite light suitcase, which was a real boon when we went on holiday by train. My husband insisted on using an older case and it was a struggle.When I saw this, which is slightly larger than mine I thought it would be perfect for him. It's a present, so all I've done is unpacked it and had a good look. Very impressed by the quality and roominess. Really looking forward to our next holiday when we'll both be wheeling our 4 wheel drive light suitcases.
A nice practical lightweight carry-on suitcase, great for a few days away. It holds everything you need for a short trip without having to try and squeeze everything in. It's very practical, and comes with its own locking system. Sansonite is a respectable brand. You pay a little more but I feel it's worth it.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas as I already owned a slightly smaller light Samsonite from a different range. He was so impressed by how light it is compared to the suitcase he usually uses. As ever with Samsonite the quality is excellent. As we are intending holidaying by train a bit more often, we are looking forward to using our " four wheel drive" light suitcases.
I am delighted with my purchase but want you to know that on the John Lewis website it CLEARLY offers a 10 year guarantee which was the true reason I purchased this set. When I registered the cases Samsonite only offers a 5 years guarantee. I then called Customer Service at John Lewis who assured me that JL offers 5 years and Samsointe another 5 years. THIS IS TOTALLY INCORRECT! I ended up only receiving a 5 year guarantee which is very very very disappointing as JL did NOT honour their promise as clearly stated. SO, future customers be aware that this case only comes along with a 5 year guarantee!!!
I've had Samsonite luggage in the past, and been very happy with them, but this felt poor. The size was marginally larger than Cabin size, which doesn't seem much, but to EasyJet and Ryanair that's an additional cost at the gate. Inside the case looks reasonable, but for the price, I felt I was buying a name, rather than a piece of luggage suited to long term business travel.I returned the item unused and looked elsewhere.
It's a really good case. Well designed compartments and expandable. The expandable feature makes the zipping a bit complicated and laptops in the front compartment may cause it to topple forwards. Otherwise, very good.
