An excellent cabin bag with an elegant look and exceptional build quality, so long as you don't mind the weight (approx 5kg). Initial impressions when I received the bag were 'wow'. The bag looks very similar to the Rimowa Cabin bag, however is considerably cheaper. Flew with it four times internationally and it's wrecked. Huge dents everywhere. It's a really nice case other than that. I considered it because I liked the other brand of metal case, weight wasn't an issue but I didn't want to spend as much money. This case has been a real let down though, dents on every corner, and once dented it looses a lot of strength so next dent in that area is twice as big.

Its a vey nice aluminium case. I bought an expensive personal item because I travel most times with touch screen computer and the last thing I need is to arrive and find it smashed. Even if it has to go in the hold or falls out of the overhead locker/ The case fills that role very well.The closing and locking feels secure. I would have preferred a four digit combination lockMy only complaint for the price is that I would have expected a better fitted interior. Computer, charger, papers etc all need secure pockets.

This suitcase is my first ever, and I'm not easily impressed. The build, quality, and ruggedness is beyond expectation. I'm very pleased with the design and its simple features. One thing that I do like to criticize is the extendable handle, I do not feel that it is sturdy enough, which is unfortunate, when I feel like lifting the suitcase by the handle. However, if it ever going to fail me, I feel confident using the product as an initiative consumer, due to the 10 years warranty Samsonite offers.Overall I'm very pleased, and would happily upgrade to a larger model when needed!

It fitted everything and even allowed for some souvenirs on the way back. I was really impressed with how well the system to hold the contents in place works and smoothly the case glided through the airport. The wheels are smooth, and the 4 free spinning system allowed for not having to drag it around the airports, a simple push was more than sufficient. The internal system to hold the contents is great as it keeps everything covered by the removable panel and the strap that holds the panel in place is easy to adjust. We took our Lite-Box Aluminium suitcases to Japan on our six week trip and it was a pleasure wheeling around something as stylish and sturdy. Love the look of the cases, they look so sleek and different to other aluminium cases and all the copies of that famous brand!After six weeks in six different cities riding the Shinkansen all over the country our suitcases were in perfect condition despite the constant packing, rough stowing and alighting in snow & rain.What a terrific design.
Ordered several Lite-Box Alo bags four weeks ago with engravement. Recieved the products and immediatly noticed that the engravements where in different sizes.Contacted customer-care several times by mail but without response. When i finally reach them by phone they promise that they will get back the same day, but never does. Samsonites customer service is not what you expect and should you have any issues with their products or deliveries, they are not taking responsibility.The bag itself feels cheap and plastic in the details and not the quality you expect for this price.I do not recommend that you buy these bags or anything else from Samsonite.

The quality of manufacture is very evident and it is practical and stylish without being too 'in your face'. The case is finished in an aluminium lustre finish with black handles and wheels. The case is riveted together and the inside features a black material lining with padded removable dividing pads and clothes restraining straps to assist in packing your belongings. The case has a three digit code lock which is TSA approved and has a concealed address tag. It feels very sturdy although with this comes some weight. The four double wheels and retractable double height pull handle makes for minimal effort manoeuvring and quiet handling. It is certainly a very expensive case and I would be very wary of its scratch and damage resistance compared to a cheaper alternative. If this was hand luggage/ cabin baggage I would feel more comfortable keeping it with me rather than leaving it in the hands of the baggage handlers to load in to an aircraft hold or unload it on to a baggage carousel. I used a wrap service to try and protect the exterior . Some light markings have appeared However there would be some comfort in knowing that your expensive holiday clothes are protected as securely possible by this offering from Samsonite.In summary, this a stylish well made suitcase which is high end quality and would more than meet the requirements of both the executive business man and the luxury tourist. Sure to be a classic of the future, this is a pleasing to the eye piece of travel luggage that any potential owner should be confident in, knowing they own a Samsonite product that is sure to attract admiring looks both for its aesthetics and security
