This Samsung a13 is nice and light to the touch. It is big so that way you don't have a hard time seeing the screen. The A13 is very responsive to the touch. The screen looks nice very and with good battery life you don't have to worry about dimming your screen to save battery life. The phone has 64 GB of storage and a slot for an SD expansion to get even more storage. The phone has 5G service. I also like the fact that all the buttons for the volume up, down, and the power are all in the same side. One feature that I think is missing on new phones is a headphone jack which the A13 has. You can enjoy fast charging with a USB-C charger port which is standard on all modern devices. Mint service internet is superb. I never lost connection or was it glitchy. The service ... This will definitely save money without sacrificing quality and connectivity. I recommend this game changer.

I regret setting up the voicemail because of this issue. Mint Mobile provides fast internet speeds at 5G but I noticed the speeds were slower than expected and when I was out and about in town, I normally only had 3 bars out of 5. If I was at home with wifi, the speeds zoomed by.So the phone is a good phone but the service provider has a bit of work that needs to be done and thats why im giving this a 3 out of 5. If it was just the phone I was rating, I think I would give it a 5 but since its' a mixed review, I will have to give the bundle a 3 star.

The best aspects of this phone are 1) the shockingly gorgeous AMOLED screen; 2) the fact that it picks up weak signals, 3) its amazing Dolby stereo sound that doesn't become distorted even when cranked all the way up, 4) its 120 Hz display, 5) its customizability, and 5) that you can set it to only charge the battery to 85% in order to preserve battery life. 128 GB of internal storage is plenty. The in-screen fingerprint reader can be a little slow. The quality of the cameras photos is generally very good. The sound quality is so good that I can even listen to music in my car on the phone speakers instead of playing the music through my car's speakers through Bluetooth. The battery life is great. One small nitpick is that with the included Samsung One UI, when you go to the app switcher, it will focus on the previous app instead of the current app. However, you can easily correct this behavior by downloading the free Good Lock app from the Samsung app store and using the included Home Up module. The other nitpick is that you sometimes need to tap the screen a couple of times in order to get it to respond, even when you use the setting to increase touchscreen sensitivity. However, Samsung seems to have fixed this with a software update, and this is no longer an issue. I recommend picking this phone up locked to the carrier you use anyway to shave a few dollars off the price. All in all, this is a wonderful and recommended phone, especially because of its gorgeous display.

I recently upgraded from a 2015 Samsung Galaxy to the Samsung A04S. I am very pleased with the end result but found the following issues. The screen is 6.5 inches long which compares with the 2015 Samsung which was 4.5 inches long. 6.5 inches now seems to be the normal size for a smartphone. The size is OK but only just fits in my breast pocket. The Phone arrived with a USB-C cable with a USB-C plug on both ends of the cable. This is different to the classic USB 2.0 cable. I had to order a USB-c to USB 2.0 cable so I could charge the phone. The cables for the 2015 Samsung are now redundant. The phone came with limited instructions. Fortunately the Samsung A04S is similar to use to the 2015 Samsung. I then tried to move SIM cards from the 2015 Samsung to the Samsung ... The sim card for the A0$s is smaller but I worked that you have to gently push the 2015 Samsung SIM card and the smaller card comes out. The good points are that I now have much more capacity and dont have to delete data, the A04S needs less charging, email works better, camera works better, newspapers are easier to read and spotify works better
Great phone even in 2022.BATTERY 10/10Battery lasts very long and doesn't get hot while gaming in normal room temperatures. Ran 720p YouTube videos at around 25% brightness for 2 hours and only lost 10% charge. Very good. The battery lasts a good amount of time while gaming too. I get around 6-7 hours of Brawl Stars with no heat issues at all (at normal room temperatures, the battery temperature was always below 35 degrees Celsius and rarely went above 30 on most days). Genshin Impact drains the battery faster. On Genshin Impact lowest settings, I get around 4-5 hours of battery life. Haven't tested battery life on highest, but the battery gets warm on highest which is expected on any phone without an external cooler. Great battery life overall.PERFORMANCE ... Haven't tested battery life on highest, but the battery gets warm on highest which is expected on any phone without an external cooler. Great battery life overall.PERFORMANCE 8/10Haven't had any lag issues at all on this phone with normal use such as web browsing, productivity and YouTube. Samsung DeX works with no lag or stutters and provides an excellent desktop experience when connected to an external display. Many apps can be opened simultaneously with no lag thanks to the 6/8GB RAM. Games run very smoothly even on high settings. The Snapdragon 855 is strong even in 2022 and can run demanding games well. Alien Isolation, a AAA PC/Console title that was ported to Android is extremely demanding, but the A90 runs this game very well (40-60fps) and I did not experience any stutters while playing. This game is more demanding than Genshin Impact, and yes, Genshin Impact runs without issues on this device, so it can run any game you throw at it.This phone is great for emulation too. PS2 emulation using AetherSX2 runs smoothly and 3DS emulation on Citra MMJ runs very well. At the time of writing this, this device didn't perform very well in Skyline (Nintendo Switch emulator) when playing 3D titles such as Super Mario Odyssey, but the emulator is still in development and even the latest flagships like the S22 can't run all 3D games on Skyline too well at the time of writing this.As the phone has a 60Hz display, the hardware doesn't get pushed very hard unlike if it had a high refresh rate such as 90hz or 120hz. As a result, most games are limited to 60fps, so games can be played on the Power Saving mode which can reduce heat, improve battery life and also prevent/reduce throttling as Power Saving itself throttles the hardware. If this mode is disabled, throttling can be observed when putting it through sustained loads such as 60fps Genshin Impact on high settings, but the throttling isn't bad. Using the CPU Throttling Test app, the phone throttled to 86% of the peak performance after 60 minutes of sustained CPU stress.CAMERAS 6/10The cameras are a downside for this phone. The image quality of the cameras, both front and rear, is not up very good, but not terrible either. Night photos with the rear camera are not very clear and are quite noisy. If you want a great camera, this phone is not the best choice.SPEAKER AND MIC 4/10The phone only has one speaker (other than the call speaker) located at the bottom right. The speaker is very quiet and is not very suitable for music or watching videos. I tolerate it because I almost never use the speaker, but if you want to use the speaker often, this is not a good choice. The microphone quality isn't great either. Voices are audible, but don't expect very good quality. It works and that is it.WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY 7/10This phone does support 5G, but only 1 band of 5G, so I have been unable to use 5G at all where I live. 4G is very fast where I live, so this is not an issue for me, but if you want to use 5G, check what 5G bands your area uses before buying if you want to use 5G. Haven't had any issues with cellular connectivity other than that. It is fast and stable on 4G and I haven't had issues with calling either.Haven't had any issues with WiFi or Bluetooth either. WiFi is fastUsing the mobile hotspot feature works well and is fast and low latency. I've used it to connect my PC to the Internet when my home Internet connection went down many times and used it for FPS games. Using the hotspot feature doesn't heat up the phone too much unlike some other phones I have tried.DISPLAY 7.5/10This phone has a 6.7 inch (similar to the iPhone 14 Pro Max size) 60Hz 1080x2400 Super AMOLED display which is fluid and looks great for almost any use such as watching videos, web browsing and gaming. The screen is suitable for 1080p FHD video as it is 1080 pixels in height when held in landscape. If you want to watch higher resolution videos such as 2K 1440p or higher, consider an S series or a different phone with a higher resolution AMOLED display. For most people, this display should be more than enough. 60Hz is fine, but for gaming I would prefer 90Hz or higher, but this is an A series with a flagship chipset so it is reasonable for my use. There are many newer and more recent midrange phones with high refresh rate displays such as 90Hz and 120Hz if high refresh rate is important to you.STORAGE 7/10This phone only comes with 128GB storage, which is sufficient if you don't take photos often and aren't a heavy user or if you use a cloud photo service such as Google Photos. The storage is fast as it is UFS 3.0. Haven't had any issues with the speed of the storage. I use emulators and some game ROMs can be large. I also run Linux through Termux and this uses a fair bit of my storage so for this kind of use, 128GB may not be enough for some. I am currently at 122GB out of 128GB with around 500 items in my photos, some games, emulator ROMs and Linux things. If you need more space, you can expand it with a microSDXC card (only on the 6GB RAM variant as stated on GSMArena).OVERALLI give this phone an 8/10. If you want a phone with great battery life and great performance but don't mind a subpar speaker and cameras, this phone is great. I really like this phone and for my use, I would take it over an S10.FAQDoes it support Samsung DeX?Yes it does. What is the latest One UI and Android version available for it?At the time of writing, One UI 4.1 and Android 12.Does it have a Snapdragon or Exynos SoC?It only comes with a Snapdragon 855.How much RAM does it come with? There is a 6GB variant and an 8GB variant. My review was based on my 6GB one.Where do you get one from in 2022/2023?This phone is a 2019 model, so if you want one you can look at preowned ones such as on Facebook Marketplace. As always, be careful when buying a preowned phone. Thanks for reading. Also, it'd be cool you give us One UI 5 for this phone. The A90 is special as it is has no successor. :)
I had a unique experience with Net 10 updating my cell number from a Samsung J3 Orbit to this cell phone. This phone is factory unlocked as advertised, however I didn't know that the carrier was on T-Mobile service prior unit I checked the IMEI number and found out. So the Sim Card needed a T-Mobile sim card that I bought for .99 online. Orginally Net 10 told me to use the Verizon sim card, which didn't work, so I tried the T-Mobile sim card and boom, it worked. So, I sent a message to the seller on Saturday and Monday morning I got a response. I called them and explained my problem in detail being that I thought that the phone was a dud. Seller very easy guy talk to on the phone. Ok now for the phone condition. minor light wear on some of the edges, hard to see since the phone is black. I order the case with two screen protectors from Walmart.com @ $8.99 for this Samsung A32 5G and once on you can't see any minor imperfections. It works for me. Also, this phone is a gem, does it all for me, everything works, I bought Walmart's warranty for it for peace of mind. My old phone worked fine but I wanted an update to 5 G and this was the least expensive one I could fine on Walmart.com. Better prices here then elsewhere for me. So, that's my input, hope it helps your decision.
I've had this phone for about 3 weeks now and it's pretty decent. I was just kicked from my parent's mobile plan and this seemed like a good temporary solution while I figured something out. The phone itself is alright. I've had an iPhone in the past and so the switch to Android was the hardest adjustment and this isn't a top-of-the-line Samsung phone. The actual quality of the phone is good, it does everything I need it to do like use social media apps, watch videos, text, and call. Now the service is great. I've never installed a SIM card into a phone, but Mint Mobile made this an easy process with pictures and instructions. Honestly, I might just stick with this Mint Mobile package for a while longer than I had originally planned and I'm happy I tried it out. It's also really easy to pay ahead for months of service on the app rather than getting into a contract with a conventional provider.
New Samsung user over here! I’ve always been an apple user and I truly like this Samsung. It’s much more user-friendly than their phones in the past. Super easy to understand, and I picked everything up quickly, even after having used Apple products for the last 20 years. As far as the as the service goes, I am super pleased. No dropping calls when driving through the backroads. The Wi-Fi calling has super clear service according to people on the other end of the phone. My only complaint is the video quality. It’s only 480p vs the 1080p I had with my iPhone. So when recording and also sending videos, it’s horribly pixelated and you can hardly make out the video. I even tried sending videos to multiple people, thinking it could be a particular phone/provider, but no ... MoreNew Samsung user over here! I’ve always been an apple user and I truly like this Samsung. It’s much more user-friendly than their phones in the past. I’m not sure if that’s a service issue or a Samsung issue, but I don’t like it. The mint mobile service is pretty superb though. I would definitely recommend this for someone who doesn’t want to be stuck in a contract. The plan options are reasonably priced for everyone including the unlimited option. You don’t have to spend $150 just for service!! It nice to finally have something affordable
Would have given this phone “0” stars but had to pick one. I bought this phone in June returned 7/20. I should have realized it was going to be a problem when it kept pixelating and shutting off during the “new phone” set up. After a few weeks would not connect to data option when I had no WiFi. I called Samsung hoping it was an easy fix…nope…told me to return it. Had to call Tracfone and have them reactivate my A20 which is what I was replacing. I love Samsung phones so I thought maybe I just got one that was bad. Received my new order yesterday. What a mistake! It took me 4 hours to try and get this phone to work. Same thing with the pixelating and shutting itself off. After the transfer from old phone to new phone nothing worked could not make any calls with WiFi ... After the transfer from old phone to new phone nothing worked could not make any calls with WiFi or data so I had to call Tracfone and have them put everything back onto my A20 which is the phone I was trying to replace again. Returning to QVC. I then checked Tracfone website to see what kind of phones they have and they also have the A32 and a lot of reviews stating the same problem I had with this phone.Very disappointed but I still love my Samsung will just wait for a different one to become available. QVC, I trust the items you sell but you should really look into, with Samsung, the issues with this phone model. My mother and I have had a lot of Samsung phones and never had any problems with them.
