I ordered an Awesome Black Samsung A52s 5G. One thing I notice about the phone is it has terrible battery performance. The battery drops 1% every 2 minutes even under black screen theme and low display brightness. Also because the colour of the phone is black so it is very obvious when dust sits on it. The phone looks old already after an hour of usage. I'm very disappointed. I also see that the back cover of the phone doesn't attach to the body well enough so that dirt gets into it which makes me doubt whether it's a secondhand phone or not. Now I'm afraid if it's actually water resistant as claimed in the ad!The only good thing about this purchase was the quick delivery. Other than that, I don't think it's worth the money.

Pros: It's much quicker than my old phone. The screen is clear and has lots of the features I know and like about Samsung without having to learn a whole new way of use.Cons: It's a bit big. My old Samsung was 5.5inches. I would have been ok with 6inches. With a screen saver and back cover it makes it heavier and so it weighs a pocket down if I'm not carrying a bag. The phone had everything else I needed and was better compared with other products so I'm having to put up with the size and weight.Twice I've made calls and the other person hasn't heard my voice or it's been distorted. Have tested it with my husband's phone and it seemed ok so hopefully there isn't an intermittent issue with making calls. I don't use it for many calls.

Pros: Long life battery ? Large internal memory Better camera quality 90% good camera quality. Perfectly sized, Not too large, Also fairly light in weight makes it comfortable to operate Flawless screen, easy and smooth scrolling. Headphone jack and type.C charging port is a great idea.Good audio quality.Cons: Dual sim method is nearly useless in the sense that one cannot insert external memory card while using dual simcard. It is either you insert one sim card and external sd card or two sim cards then forfeit the eternal sd card and then manage the phone's internal memory only. Therefore, I don't consider this phone a 100% dual sim phone. This phone is 50% Dual based on the explanations above.

Having used this phone for a month, whilst it is generally good, there are a couple of weaknesses in vital areas, and overall I feel disappointed with it.Good are the screen, speakers and general daily operation – after I had spent a couple weeks reading the setting to turn off annoying notifications and distractions such as the camera shutter sound. The in-screen fingerprint print reader is working well; and I'm hoping, based on reviews, that Samsung will offer a few years of software updates and security patches. I also like having the extended storage, although it is worth noting that not all apps can use this. The battery is reasonable, I can get a full day’s use with a few percent to spare, though to achieve this I have switched the screen mode to 60Hz. I also like having the extended storage, although it is worth noting that not all apps can use this. The battery is reasonable, I can get a full day’s use with a few percent to spare, though to achieve this I have switched the screen mode to 60Hz. A slight annoyance is the auto screen rotate, which sometimes seems to trigger too easily, and sometimes not at all. I wish there was a setting to control its sensitivity.Disappointments are the camera and sound casting via Bluetooth. The camera is often slow to focus, and prone to blur or problems in exposure. Detail is good in bright conditions, but otherwise limitations are obvious when photos are enlarged. Skin, for example, is prone to mottling and jumps in colour gradient. For me, night mode has so far resulted in grainy, poorly focused photos. Pro mode only offers 10 seconds max exposure - I like to use this mode for night sky photos (e.g. meteor showers and satellites) so was hoping for a longer exposure option – my previous phone offered 30 seconds. Overall, the camera seems inferior to that in my previous, similar price-band phone. Also poorer is the sound casting to Bluetooth earphones and speakers. I like to listen to music stored on my phone. No matter how I tweak the phone settings and equaliser, the sound is a bit flat. Again, this is disappointing compared to my previous phone.
I have a SIM only contract with is too good to give up so I needed a SIM free phone with a decent amount of storage space at a reasonable price point. After spending ages researching I decided on this one.The phone's not too weighty and not too big like some others. There's a balance between making sure the mobile is large enough to have a decent size keyboard but not too large to be bulky and for me this was just right. I really liked this colour too.I previously had a 64GB mobile but with all the apps I needed, many of which won't store on an external memory card, the phone became too full to function properly. The fact that this phone was water resistant was also a deciding factor, having dropped a mobile in the looin the past!I have had the mobile for ... MoreI have a SIM only contract with is too good to give up so I needed a SIM free phone with a decent amount of storage space at a reasonable price point. There's plenty of storage, so I can use all the apps I need and the response rate is good too. I'm not a gamer, so not sure if this is suitable for that, but it streams video without any problems. My only additional preference would have been to have a dual SIM card, however, having decided on a budget this was the best value mobile with enough specs ticked within my price range. With a two year warranty from John Lewis, plus an offer at the time, it was a a good buy. With the cost of some mobiles this was a good value mobile with enough specs to last me a few years.
Bought this phone less than 3 months ago, and originally loved it...very good at the price, with awesome camera and satisfying battery life; however, since purchasing it, it's had at least 3 software updates, and each time the phone has gradually become slower and slower. I.e. Performance: it now takes ages to download and install apps from Google Play.Battery life i so awful now...it's losing up to 6% of its charge EVERY hour, WITHOUT EVEN USING it When using it, it loses 1% of the battery charge every 5 to 7 minutes! And when I delete anything from my phone to "save space", it's actuallu INCREASING the amount of used space on the internal storage. Hate this phone now, and feel cheated by Samsung. Would NEVER buy from them again!
Have had both Android and iOS phones since smartphones came out. Moving from Android to iOS is a pain, especially migrating Whatsapp (impossible without some paid service). Decided to go back to Android as iOS was driving me mad (simple things like going back and selcting / replacing a single letter in a message, impossible, still!). I saw this phone on offer, my first Samsung, and was pleasantly suprised at their smart switch app - everything ported across, even all the Whatsapp messages. Some apps unfortunately don't retain data and have to be set up again as if just installed - mostly banking apps for obvious security considerations. Lovely OLED screen - one of the reasons I got it. All in all one of the best smartphones to date for the money.
Pros: Flagship value & above mid-range status this cellphone is above & beyond Samsungs previous A-Range Series. Excellent touch-screen response & so many usable extras in the settings menu's!With 128GB memory on-board one can easily use Both The Duel Sim Card slots & have two separate numbers from Different Service Providers or simply use 1 number and add an SD storage card up to 1TB. Excellent Sound volumes for Calls or Music & adaptable Bluetooth Buds or wired Earphones yet still dust & Water resistant status. 2G to 5G networks & WiFi/Hotspot calling- everything works as it should do ! My favourite awesome Mint is such an subtle yet beautiful colour & Battery will last several days for light users and easily most of a day by heavy users like me & has fast-charge ... MorePros: Flagship value & above mid-range status this cellphone is above & beyond Samsungs previous A-Range Series. Multiple cameras give so much choices and picture quality is excellent and natural and on board apps allow lots of photography tweaks & settings ! Purchased a decent Wallet-Case to protect this beautiful Samsung Flagship A-Series Cellphone and it still fits comfortably in a front trouser pocket it being Slim yet still a decent screen-size ! What is there not to like about this WoW Cellphone ! I've now had this Cellphone many weeks & as yet not found any niggles or down points to be concerned with - I would certainly repeat this same purchase if I wanted an extra phone or to give as an special gift to any family member in need of a replacement Cellphone !Cons: Nothing to Not Like - its a Superb Device :-)
The screen is top tier but what really creeps up on you is the sound quality.Watching a sports game on this will blow you away with the sound quality. Makes it feel like you are in the stands.Top of the line performance for a standard price.Basically does everything a galaxy s2 can with slightly better performance all around.Compared to the S2 the price is slightly lower, the screen is faster bigger. But the phone is heavier. The camera is significantly better than the S2.Downsides are its a lot bigger and heavier. The only really issue I have with it is the battery is so big that once its really low or empty it takes a long time to charge back up. And because the battery is so big you loose the habit of constantly having it charging.
