I have to start by stating how I'm slightly biased towards samsung products. But comparing these wireless buds to other competitors, Raycon, Apple, bose, Skullcandy etc. Of which I've owned or heard from a pair of each brand. I can comfortably say I'm amazed at the sizable amount of bass (which can be adjusted in the samsung wearable app) as someone who thoroughly enjoys getting their eardrums blown out by bass, I can hope for a little more bass in the future renditions of this product. I digress as I believe this to have an acceptable amount of bass for such compact earbuds. While not often found in other earbud brands, Ambient Noise feature is amplifying sounds around you for when your music is too engulfing to notice your surroundings. I can safely say it works, but only sometimes do you actually hear someone calling your name, but let that not stop you from enjoying the many other outweighing factors that make these buds enjoyable, as I still give these buds a 4 out of 5 stars even as picky as I am about good audio. My only real complaint, is the fitting design. Due to possibly trying to remain original in design, samsung buds have had a hard time fitting for long periods of times in my ears without having to adjust them. Even with the multiple sized ear pieces. Other than that, solid earbuds.

It is much better than the original GBPro model though! The ambient mode is quite a bit behind the Sony Linkbuds S though, its OK but not great.Comfort wise these are as good as the Linkbuds S which until these arrived were my most comfortable TWS. These also have much better tips than the original GBPro so are a huge step up over the original model. The app aside from a few new settings specific to this model has the same limitations and features as past models. I do wish Samsung would give users the ability to setthwir own EQ settings. The new experimental feature for volume work very well as I now can tap my ear to increase or decrease the volume which I find to be a good compromise on their default gesture configurations allow me to mange everything from the TWS which I think is a must in this day and age.If you have a newer Samsung phone the scalable codec is a true delight to use, so much easier and more reliable than products relying on LDAC. But you have to have a new enough Samsung phone to use this wonderful codec. For non Samsung users you will be limited to AAc or SBC which does lower the detail of the sound. But the over all sound signature remains intact so will give similar but slightly lower quality sound. Without having the ability to A/B extensively most would not really notice a difference.I am very happy with this new model, Samsung has exceeded my expectations for audio quality. Now if they can tackle the battery life and make it slightly more customizable for controls and EQ they will go from a 4 to an easy 5!

I was literally blown away the second I turned on the music. First of all, these are finally truly loud wireless earbuds, this is first time ever where I was dialling the volume down, because 80% is plenty! There is nothing more annoying when there is good song and you press the button to increase the volume and just hear "beep - maximum volume", but it is still quiet. Worry no more! I would not advise listening at 100% all the time, but if there is anyone who will have a say about damaging or preserving my hearing it will be me!Secondly, bass is so deep that I struggle to remember anything of this size to come close - perhaps original Beats by Dr. Dre 10 year ago (obviously they were wired). Still the sound is extremely detailed and very well separated i.e. bass, treble, vocals and mids all sounds very distinct and clear. Which leads to next point...Third, the clarity is in the league of it's own , to the point where it almost becomes an issue. This is no fault of the earbuds, but if you music source is less then perfect then you will hear it, it reproduce sound so clearly that any noise will be heard, so... just make sure you listen to good quality source. So it is a good thing if you have good quality source, it will be great for watching movies etc. where it sometimes hard to tell voices apart from background effects etc.Fourth, ambient sounds something altogether, it literally enhances your hearing as with earbuds in and ambient sound on you will hear thing normal human can't hear. I don't want to exaggerate - you not snooping on conversation 200m away any time soon, but if people are whispering 5 metres away you will hear it like they whispering it to your ear. It is sometimes creepy, yet it does exactly what it says to do - you don't feel like your ears are plugged anymore and all surrounding sounds are clarified and amplified. You not going to need to take them out to have a conversation for sure.Perhaps only one caveat - £219 is quite a lot, I got them for free with Fold 4, if it would have been my own money I probably would not have considered spending that much, but that is on assumption that it will be diminishing returns. However, in this case I think they are really worth it and one is not overpaying considering how well they perform.Apart of that they have excellent connectivity and great battery life - I would go as far as saying they are perfect for the purpose they were designed. Can't find any fault and they exceeded expectation in all possible criteria.

These true wireless buds are some of the best sounding buds on the market and getting somewhat close to wired offerings. The tuning on these is nearly perfect, just has some minor diminishing treble quality. Hopefully the successor to these buds keeps the similar tuning with improved treble and overall better response quality. Really like that these come with improved audio codecs and hopefully we can get to one rivaling LDAC across the board. One feature I would hope pro models eventually get is the ability to custom EQ rather than just the presets. As for other parts of the buds, these improvements I assume will come naturally. Battery life is somewhat below standard other ANC capable buds. The ANC is fine overall, similar to industry standards and will continue to improve. The call quality seems to have improved a lot and hopefully they keep improving. The microphone call quality could use some improvements in noisier environments for sure. The fit and comfort is very good overall and just requires some small adjustments to tip replacements. Replacing the tips feel cumbersome but just minor nitpicks. Touch controls work fine but they can be improved in sensitivity and overall functionality.Overall, these are probably the best TWS buds to get for sound currently. Price wise it isn't as competitive as AKG N400s or especially the Free2 classics. However, while those products are competitive in sound and price especially, they fall short to the Buds2 Pro in the other areas like the ANC and microphone. I would even recommend these over the Air pods lineup for iPhone users if they were willing to give up on the ecosystem features for sound. Of course, these are a no brainer for Samsung users.
I primarily bought these to replace my old Samsung Buds. These are far more comfortable (I wear these for hours on end at work) than my older buds, with fast charging times. Topping off in the case for 15 to 20 minutes nets you another 2 hours of music! The bass response is not quite as deep as i prefer but it is an improvement, the treble & mids are excellent though, adding the Dolby Atmos just puts it over the top! The fast pairing works perfectly with both my Galaxy Z Fold 5 and my Samsung Classic 4 watch, seemlessly switching from either device, and my PC. Battery charge times wirelessly is pretty quick, though I'm using a three in one charging stand for all my Samsung Wearables, which really gets them all charged pretty quick. The VERY small foot print of the case had me thinking these would not have much for recharging on the go but surprisingly the case holds a pretty fair amount of charge for the buds. The Wear app lets you really customize the way your wearables are utilized, letting you customize everything from sound profiles to ear testing and customizing how the buds respond based on those inputs. It's amazing how all three devices work seemlessly together to give you the best possible experience with each device. I would honestly recommend these to anyone that wants a great sounding pair of Buds that are truly comfortable and totally customizable for an incredible experiance.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend these earbuds to anyone who moves more than someone that sits down all day doing work. The microphone quality sounds great to others on the receiving end of phone calls made through these Buds, and they have good sound quality. However, the sound quality is truly no better than the Galaxy Buds+ which were released over 3 years ago. The active noise cancellation is some of the best on the market, I'll give them that. Though, the Buds 2 Pro's other fancy features like head tracking for 360-degree simulated audio, and 24-bit hi-fi audio are not worth this price point. The biggest issue I and many others have is the design of the bud itself, causing the bud to fall out of your ear if you tip your head even slightly to one side or jump ... MoreUnfortunately, I can't recommend these earbuds to anyone who moves more than someone that sits down all day doing work. The microphone quality sounds great to others on the receiving end of phone calls made through these Buds, and they have good sound quality. Though, the Buds 2 Pro's other fancy features like head tracking for 360-degree simulated audio, and 24-bit hi-fi audio are not worth this price point. The biggest issue I and many others have is the design of the bud itself, causing the bud to fall out of your ear if you tip your head even slightly to one side or jump up and down just a little bit. Forget trying to run with these, as you'll probably get only a few steps before they fall out. The biggest mistake Samsung made was removing the wing feature they've had on older buds, which allowed users to customize the size of the wing to fit their ear. The rubber tips also aren't the best, compared to previous years, these tips cave in on themselves more, mostly due to the thinner design of them.Another issue I and others have with the Buds 2 Pro is the touch controls being too sensitive to anything, if you have long hair or oddly shaped ears, or even shift your head too quickly, the Buds will think you tapped them and mess up whatever you're listening to, thus I have the tap feature disabled from the Wear app.I'm a diehard Samsung product buyer, but unfortunately these Buds are the worst product I've ever purchased from them and wait for when they release an improved, or even vastly different model in the future, maybe even headphones would be better than these.Lastly, I may as well at least share one piece of advice for current owners or those who are still going to buy after reading this review. Online it may say that you can't find these earbuds if they're still in the case, that's only partially true. If you lose them and leave the vicinity where they're no longer connectable via Bluetooth, then yes, they're pretty much as good as gone, as the case needs to be opened or the buds need to have fallen out for another Samsung device with Smartthings to ping their location. But if you're close enough to them where Bluetooth will work, you're able to forcefully make them beep a loud sound constantly until you find them EVEN while they're still in the case, otherwise you could also use your newer Samsung phones (22 and up) to activate AR mode and find them with your camera instead.Overall my rating stands at 2/5 because they're more of a hassle than a utility. Sorry for the long review and for any possible typos or grammatical errors.

The features - very feature packed ear buds, I do not use the voice detect option very often because I don't have the need but a very cool feature and I'm sure it is great for multiple uses. The 360 audio is a game changer and makes the music sound so much better than standard. It sounds especially for movies and videos, and it just crazy good for music. The noise canceling and ambient mode are very good and work great for me.Conclusion - Great overall earbuds!!!!!
The first thing that I will ask is "where have you been all my life?" I purchased a pair of Buds pro 2 and picked them up yesterday, but first, let me give you a little background. I have been listening to music my entire life being weened on Motown, graduating to Funk, and in the late 70s I have been an avid heavy metal fan. I am not talking a casual listener. I purchased a pair of Buds pro 2 and picked them up yesterday, but first, let me give you a little background. I have been listening to music my entire life being weened on Motown, graduating to Funk, and in the late 70s I have been an avid heavy metal fan. I am not talking a casual listener. Last year alone I logged 19, 063 scrobbles on Last.fm. So you can imagine that I have used dozens of headphones over the years and enjoyed the music that I am so passionate about which would eventually led me to this purchase.I was hoping for better sound quality but was not holding my breath, getting my hopes too high. As it turns out, I never expected the quality of sound that the Buds Pro 2 put out and was blown away by the initial experience. With these earbuds you have the option to listen to whatever medium that you might want to listen to in 360 mode. As soon as I turned this on I was instantly immersed in the music with a sound quality that I personally never experienced, but then came 360 mode with head tracking and that was truly a dimension of music listening that I did not think possible. It is difficult to describe, but when you turn your head the vocals or other instruments would move with your head giving the sensation of not just listening to the music but becoming part of it as well. Whether this type of technology has been around for a while or not it was extremely new to me and a wonderful experience at that. I have seen unsatisfactory reviews and I understand that we each experience things differently and are entitled to our own opinions, but these were worth every penny and them some once added to my various listening devices that instantly catapulted themselves to the top of the best list.
GALAXY Buds Pro 2 Have Superior sound quality. Watching a movie with a compatible Samsung GALAXY phone and these ear buds is like sitting in a movie theater surrounded by theater quality speakers. Using the Buds Pro2 for business calls is like being in the same room with your clients even on a video conference. I have asked the person on the other end of the call how the microphone sounds to them and have said "it's like being there in the same room with you, clear clean sounding with no distortion or background noise." The only time it was an issue is when I was in locations like concerts or outside near roadways where the background noise is so loud the Buds couldn't cancel that noise out. I do have one suggestion for Samsung. These are not my go to Buds for bicycling or physical heavy labor that is active due to the ear bud cushions don't help keep the bud in my ear. Even when the phone suggestion that those cushions were the correct fit for the best possible operation and sound quality. An over the ear hook to help keep them in place (maybe like an add on option that is removable) would make it a 5 star review in my opinion. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Battery life is awsome and the carrying case that charges your buds keeps you moving without missing a beat! Even when you forget your charger at home. They are well worth the money! All in All I don't think you would be disappointed with purchasing these ear buds.
I got these in August (currently May) and there is so much to love about them, but they have one pretty bad flaw.I'll start with what I like. Prior to buying these I had a pair of Premium over ear noise cancelling headphones and some cheap wireless ear buds, these are a major upgrade over the cheap ear buds, and a strong competitor with my much larger and more expensive over ear headphones, especially since they are way more portable. In addition to the portability, the audio quality is great, the battery lasts surprisingly long (I like 2 hours of phone calls or a whole day at work with noise cancelling and spotify), and I don't often run into connectivity issues with my Samsung phone or my windows laptop. I got these for with my Samsung galaxy z flip 4 pre-order ... MoreI got these in August (currently May) and there is so much to love about them, but they have one pretty bad flaw.I'll start with what I like. I got these for with my Samsung galaxy z flip 4 pre-order and if you can get them with some sort of deal I would say go for it. However, I am not sure I would pay full price for them. The main reason being that they have a big design flat: they progressively slip out of your ear. I've tried every tip that comes with them and the problem still occurs. This is particularly a problem when I'm eating or talking with them in, as the motion of my jaw moves them out. I then find myself pushing them in. This is where the second problem comes up, because every time I push them in, I activate the touch controls and pause/unpause my media content. I like the touch to pause feature, so I don't want to disable it, but the tradeoff is having to deal with that. My recommendation is try them out while talking and moving around before buying. If it weren't for the fact that they slip out as you wear them, I would recommend them without hesitation, even at full price.
