I was literally blown away the second I turned on the music. First of all, these are finally truly loud wireless earbuds, this is first time ever where I was dialling the volume down, because 80% is plenty! There is nothing more annoying when there is good song and you press the button to increase the volume and just hear "beep - maximum volume", but it is still quiet. Worry no more! I would not advise listening at 100% all the time, but if there is anyone who will have a say about damaging or preserving my hearing it will be me! Secondly, bass is so deep that I struggle to remember anything of this size to come close - perhaps original Beats by Dr. Dre 10 year ago (obviously they were wired). Secondly, bass is so deep that I struggle to remember anything of this size to come close - perhaps original Beats by Dr. Dre 10 year ago (obviously they were wired). Still the sound is extremely detailed and very well separated i.e. bass, treble, vocals and mids all sounds very distinct and clear. Which leads to next point... Third, the clarity is in the league of it's own , to the point where it almost becomes an issue. This is no fault of the earbuds, but if you music source is less then perfect then you will hear it, it reproduce sound so clearly that any noise will be heard, so... just make sure you listen to good quality source. So it is a good thing if you have good quality source, it will be great for watching movies etc. where it sometimes hard to tell voices apart from background effects etc. Fourth, ambient sounds something altogether, it literally enhances your hearing as with earbuds in and ambient sound on you will hear thing normal human can't hear. I don't want to exaggerate - you not snooping on conversation 200m away any time soon, but if people are whispering 5 metres away you will hear it like they whispering it to your ear. It is sometimes creepy, yet it does exactly what it says to do - you don't feel like your ears are plugged anymore and all surrounding sounds are clarified and amplified. You not going to need to take them out to have a conversation for sure. Perhaps only one caveat - £219 is quite a lot, I got them for free with Fold 4, if it would have been my own money I probably would not have considered spending that much, but that is on assumption that it will be diminishing returns. However, in this case I think they are really worth it and one is not overpaying considering how well they perform. Apart of that they have excellent connectivity and great battery life - I would go as far as saying they are perfect for the purpose they were designed. Can't find any fault and they exceeded expectation in all possible criteria.

Pros first: 1. Nice and pleasant to hold. Solid and well-built. Beautiful gadget overall. 2. Better sound quality than Airpod 2 Gen as far as I can tell 3. Noise cancelling feature worked well for me (though not sure why I would need it) 4. Galaxy Wearable app on an android phone has some nice features. Actively using it as a widget. However, I can't give the Bud Live more than 3 stars for a few serious reasons (and I'll be comparing them to my Apple Airpod Gen 2, which doesn't always auto-connect to my android phone, and the look of which I don't like at all): 1. There is a noise glitch (glitchy matrix effects) as soon as I put my phone in my back pocket. Given that I usually carry my phone in my back pocket, this is a big issue for me. There is a noise glitch (glitchy matrix effects) as soon as I put my phone in my back pocket. Given that I usually carry my phone in my back pocket, this is a big issue for me. A similar connectivity problem when I leave the phone in my office and go out to get a water from the tap (10-15 meters away). My old Airpod 2 Gen had no issue like this, so I rule out that it is due to my phone's Bluetooth connection quality. The connection is beautiful if the phone is close enough and at your direct sight. 2. They turned out to be much bigger than expected. I was hoping them to be less eye-catching than my Airpods but they look like two fat ticks (insect) in my ears and people around can't help taking a good look at your ears when you are wearing them. 3. I have learned to place them in my ears. But if you use earphones to watch Youtube when eating food like me, then you won't enjoy this item. As soon as your jaw starts working (i.e., chewing the food), these earphones get displaced and start falling off unless you push them back regularly with your fingers. But if the tap/touch functions are on, you are doomed. As soon as you touch it to push back in your ears, it pauses the video. Two touches to place them back in your ears properly will skips the video and plays the next one. So, the touch function is off for me all the time. So, would I recommend this product? Yes and no depending on which problem above applies to your situation (I'll choose yes below). But I wouldn't buy them if I knew that that I would be having those issues. But too late now.

The design is the perfect fit for my ears. Comfortable and sit tight even for runs. The sound is clear and noice cancelling stellar. Gone are those annoying rubber parts that always got lost or had terrible fit for my ears. But here is the down side, had I not got these for free, I would never ever had paid for them. With no dust or water resistance to write home about, these begs you to have an indoor inactive lifestyle or a extra pair for anything else than sit tight on your bud, or maybe stroll around in an indoor mall. These are probably the best wireless earbuds I've ever used. To start, the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) is a complete game changer for someone like me who works in a noisy environment. The first few times I've put them on and turned on the ANC, were kind of surreal. It's as if all the sound just disappears. Another cool feature is the Ambient Sound setting, which allow you the ability to hear almost as if you weren't even wearing them. The sound profile is nice as well, you get the range and depth with sounds that you'd expect from expensive earbuds like these. The fit are nice as well. For me, they don't ever fall out. I had my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro2 earbuds for about 3 weeks before losing one from falling out of ear on its own. It didn't matter what silicone ear bud I would use, they always worked themselves out of the ear. I purchased these soulfully for the advertisement of staying in the ear and not falling out. That was a failure. The other issue is that the plastic has sharp ridges around the charging electrodes on the earbud itself. The ridges scratched my ear and made it to where I would have to stop using the buds for a day or two so that my ears would heal. Shoddy Quality Control. Another issue is the battery life. It just plain SUCKS. 3-4 hours and they die. I had $120 Elgin Rebels that would last 10-12+. What a dissapointment for me to have spent twice that, (@$240), ... MoreI had my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro2 earbuds for about 3 weeks before losing one from falling out of ear on its own. And To lose one of them on top of that. Now I have to try and find a left ear replacement which will bring the value to $360 for a subpar product. The sound quality was good. I liked the active noise cancellation but, they were uncomfortable at times, ill-fitting, and just don't hold up like a High Quality Samsung product should. Thanks but no thanks. Tighten Up Samsung.
This is the worst product Samsung has ever made. The wing design on the original Buds should never have been changed. No matter what after market tips you try, these will squeeze out of your ears if you have any emotion or movement at all. They cannot be retrofitted to fit in my ears, and now that I'm over the 30 day period I cannot return these garbage ear buds I spent over 200 dollars for. I will never buy another Samsung mobile product again, and have never been this disappointed in a product. I chose Android to have more options to customize and retrofit my devices. I would gladly exchange these for a new pair of the first gen ear buds with wing tips.
I really loved the color and design of the earbuds. I ordered the lavender color, and they looked exactly like the picture. The texture was nice and easy to grip with finger tips. The sound was decent, nothing to brag about. What didn’t work for me was that they didn’t fit my ears well and kept slipping out, and the earbuds didn’t come with any size options. Another thing is, although the earbuds paired with my device with ease, it would not show up on the Galaxy app. I must mention that I have an iPhone and downloaded the recommended app from the manufacturer. I couldn’t see when it charged or take advantage of any other feature the app may have provided. The case wasn’t charging well either. Which meant the earbuds weren’t getting charged properly. I returned them and won’t be buying another pair for an iPhone.
I purchased these to have a dedicated set for my phone. (Telecommuter, so flipping my LG/HK set from laptop to phone caused too many missed calls due to delay in switching.) Because these are Samsung, and I have the S22, I thought a match made in heaven. WRONG! Sound cuts out (as reported by every person at the other end of the phone), have tried every adapter cushion thingy, and no go. Its almost like the little magnets for the charger also sense connection in the ear? They start slipping, and connection cuts. If I press them back in, beeps and chimes, and the person at the other end asks what Im doing. (mortifying!) On top of bad connection, these things pop out and go bouncing under my desk - leaving quite a comical "OMG! Gimme a minute!" -- or I just scrap them ... MoreI purchased these to have a dedicated set for my phone. Positively awful. PS: the S22 doesnt have an aux outlet to quickly plug in my wired go-to emergency set, so its either my LGs, or the old-fashioned phone-to-ear or speaker. UGH!
I love the sound of these. I've read other reviews stating that it's not that great but mine sound amazing! Hands down best sounding ear buds I've ever tried. The bass is unbelievable! Cons- They have a sensor that let's the bud know if it's in your ear or not and if it's even slightly out it won't pause play or skip or answer calls. Adversely, if u have the jammed in. Which u have too do to keep them in no matter which of the two, yes that's righ they only give u two different sizes of ear rubber for fitment! Need more for sure.- The buds won't respond because there isn't enough movement of the sensor. They would fit right if they weren't so fat in the ear. It's impossible to eat with them in because the ear flexes to much. I will be returning these after only two days. Samsung definitely needs to do more development. I cannot believe they released these the way they are. All the have to so is make the neck that goes in the canals a little longer and change the shape a little, very minor so that it will fit in the lobe a bit better and I would buy a few pairs for myself and family because they honestly sound phenomenal!
I bought this to 'upgrade' from my Buds Pro of 2021. ~ nothing wrong with the Buds Pro still functioning well & I am very happy with it. But I decided to go for the Pro 2 for the aesthetics... I like that it's smaller in comparison and looks a bit better. I got the White and I love it... but that's about it. Just now comparing the sound quality to my Buds Pro and I am not impressed. • The Buds Pro 2, even with the bass booster and active noise cancelling on, sounds like sh!t. (Whereas on the Buds Pro, the two makes a significant difference). • It sounds very harsh, especially when loud, it's unbearable if not worse, you just want to take them off. whereas it's still tolerable & easy on the ear on the Buds Pro, it sounds great. • The other thing about the ear piece ... MoreI bought this to 'upgrade' from my Buds Pro of 2021. ~ nothing wrong with the Buds Pro still functioning well & I am very happy with it. • The other thing about the ear piece itself is that it's a bit fidily to remove. Could be just me... All in All, having only used and tested the Buds Pro 2 for about 30mins, I am once again not impressed, highly disappointed and wish I could return it. If you have a functioning Buds Pro, It will be a waste to buy the Pro 2... If you have nothing at all, perhaps go ahead but at the same time choose wisely. 1 Star because I am a tad angry that I anticipated something amazing only to be disappointed.
