I am quite impressed with these earbuds; my initial impressions began with the packaging. Samsung, like Sony and some other companies, is moving towards sustainable packaging and there is little if any plastic utilized here. Clever use of various paper and cardboard-based materials is used to secure the earbuds, case, USB C cord, and ear tips inside of the box.Continued impressions were when I opened the earbuds case, placed the earbuds in, and found that active noise canceling (ANC) immediately began and that, with the case open, it was already querying for a Bluetooth connection. This made connecting my iPhone a cinch. They also have the Galaxy connect feature where they can connect to compatible Galaxy devices with just opening the earbuds case. The audio ... This made connecting my iPhone a cinch. They also have the Galaxy connect feature where they can connect to compatible Galaxy devices with just opening the earbuds case. The audio experience with these earbuds is excellent and is on par with many others I have tried including my Apple Airpod Pro’s and LG FP9’s. As a matter of face, the bass presence and detail here may surpass the others entirely. An additionally impressive aspect of these earbuds is their ability to block wind noise. I went for a bike ride on a very windy evening and with these headphones on transparency mode for safety, I found that these headphones blocked out the wind admirably well to the point where I could hear my audio with no problem. With the additional assurance from Samsung that these are IPX7 water-resistant, I feel that these would be a great choice for athletes or outdoors-oriented audiophiles. The controls on the earbuds themselves are intuitive and easy to use. The only trouble is that I find that like other earbuds that lack controls on a stem, I often find myself inadvertently performing actions with the earbuds like pausing my music when I pressed the bud to adjust it back into my ear canal. The earbuds do have an excellent fit, but every earbud requires adjustment once in a while, especially while in the middle of activities. If you are not an Apple ecosystem devotee, these are very good earbuds to consider. They have a strong, simple to set up Bluetooth connection and just sound absolutely excellent. Additionally, their battery life is going to attract many users to them over some of the competition’s offerings. Altogether, I have no issue recommending these to anyone seeking not only an excellent, refined audio experience, but one that is really made to excel with Galaxy devices.

These true wireless buds are some of the best sounding buds on the market and getting somewhat close to wired offerings. The tuning on these is nearly perfect, just has some minor diminishing treble quality. Hopefully the successor to these buds keeps the similar tuning with improved treble and overall better response quality. Really like that these come with improved audio codecs and hopefully we can get to one rivaling LDAC across the board. One feature I would hope pro models eventually get is the ability to custom EQ rather than just the presets. As for other parts of the buds, these improvements I assume will come naturally. Battery life is somewhat below standard other ANC capable buds. The ANC is fine overall, similar to industry standards and will continue ... The call quality seems to have improved a lot and hopefully they keep improving. The microphone call quality could use some improvements in noisier environments for sure. The fit and comfort is very good overall and just requires some small adjustments to tip replacements. Replacing the tips feel cumbersome but just minor nitpicks. Touch controls work fine but they can be improved in sensitivity and overall functionality.Overall, these are probably the best TWS buds to get for sound currently. Price wise it isn't as competitive as AKG N400s or especially the Free2 classics. However, while those products are competitive in sound and price especially, they fall short to the Buds2 Pro in the other areas like the ANC and microphone. I would even recommend these over the Air pods lineup for iPhone users if they were willing to give up on the ecosystem features for sound. Of course, these are a no brainer for Samsung users.

TLDR - This is a great evolution of my favorite wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro. The sound and noise cancellation is improved, the buds fit much better than the previous generation and I love the new matte finish on the case and buds. My only complaint is the touch targets seem slightly smaller than the prior version, so I have to re-train my muscle memory. Get them if you're looking for a great wireless earbud, and have a Samsung device. iPhone and non-samsung devices, look elsewhere as the features you'll lose will not make this a great value compared to similar earbuds from Jabra or Apple.I have used the Galaxy Buds2 Pro (I'll refer to them as the Pro 2) for about a week. I also have a Galaxy Buds Pro ("Pro 1") and Galaxy Buds Live earbuds that I use interchangeably at both work and home, so I think I have a pretty good basis for comparison against those devices.Positives: Samsung really improved the comfort, sound quality and ANC in the Pro 2 vs. the Pro 1. The Pro 2s are much easier to fit in my ears (I use the medium size tips) because the shape is slightly smaller and oval compared to the rounder and thicker Pro 1. Fit and comfort is highly subjectiver however, since everyone's ears are different. The ANC and ambient noise quality and function are improved over the Pro 1. I use these and the Pro 1s in an office environment and the Pro 2 are definitely stronger ANC compared to the Pro 1. The ambient listening sound quality is slightly better on the Pro 2, but the feature itself works the same as the Pro 1.Negatives: The Pro 2s are slightly smaller than the Pro 1, so the touch targets are slightly smaller as well and have shifted slightly so I'm experiencing quite a few missed touches and wrong commands while my muscle memory is re-learned. The Pro 2s still don't have true multipoint capability, and the auto switch function between Samsung devices sometimes switched to my tablet when I didn't want it to.The IP67 rating carries forward from the Pro 1s without changes. I've used these in the shower a few times (same as the Pro 1) and they work fine, as long as you remember to turn off the touch controls to avoid accidental activation from water splashes.Since samsung didn't really add new features, the Pro 1s are still a great product and probably a better value now, assuming the price will drop to clear out remaining inventory.Overall, these are a great

The first thing that I will ask is "where have you been all my life?" I purchased a pair of Buds pro 2 and picked them up yesterday, but first, let me give you a little background. I have been listening to music my entire life being weened on Motown, graduating to Funk, and in the late 70s I have been an avid heavy metal fan. I am not talking a casual listener. Last year alone I logged 19, 063 scrobbles on Last.fm. So you can imagine that I have used dozens of headphones over the years and enjoyed the music that I am so passionate about which would eventually led me to this purchase.I was hoping for better sound quality but was not holding my breath, getting my hopes too high. So you can imagine that I have used dozens of headphones over the years and enjoyed the music that I am so passionate about which would eventually led me to this purchase.I was hoping for better sound quality but was not holding my breath, getting my hopes too high. As it turns out, I never expected the quality of sound that the Buds Pro 2 put out and was blown away by the initial experience. With these earbuds you have the option to listen to whatever medium that you might want to listen to in 360 mode. As soon as I turned this on I was instantly immersed in the music with a sound quality that I personally never experienced, but then came 360 mode with head tracking and that was truly a dimension of music listening that I did not think possible. It is difficult to describe, but when you turn your head the vocals or other instruments would move with your head giving the sensation of not just listening to the music but becoming part of it as well. Whether this type of technology has been around for a while or not it was extremely new to me and a wonderful experience at that. I have seen unsatisfactory reviews and I understand that we each experience things differently and are entitled to our own opinions, but these were worth every penny and them some once added to my various listening devices that instantly catapulted themselves to the top of the best list.
As someone who loves music and spends a lot of time listening to podcasts and audiobooks on the go, I recently got the chance to try out the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro. And I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed.Right off the bat, the sleek and modern design caught my eye. They look like they belong in the future, but in a way that's not over-the-top or garish. They're subtle and understated, yet stylish enough to make a statement. But the real test was in how they sound. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The sound quality was amazing, with crisp highs, rich mids, and deep bass. With active noise cancelation and ambient sound mode, I was able to block out the outside world and focus on my music or podcasts. And when I needed to hear what was going on around me, I could easily switch to ambient mode to let some sound in.The battery life was also impressive. I was able to listen to music for several hours on a single charge, and the charging case made it easy to keep them topped up when I needed to. Plus, the fast-charging feature is a game-changer for anyone who's always on the go.But perhaps the most surprising thing about the Galaxy Buds2 Pro was how comfortable they were to wear. The three different sizes of ear tips allowed me to find the perfect fit for my ears.
Surely I'm missing something! There is NO custom equalizer or the ability to change the equalizer settings and save them as presets??? YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME !!Let me first say that I LOVE Samsung products. My wife also has an S22.I have bought and tried every major brand of earbuds over the years including Apple, Beats, Sony, Samsung, Jabra, JBL, etc. My favorite earbuds ever are Jaybird Vistas. I have both Vista 1 and Vista 2. They stay in my ear and SOUND GREAT with an unlimited number of customized equalizers that are saved under my Jaybird account and show on every device I have, tablet, phone, etc. The Vista 1 doesn't have ANC and the ANC on the Vista 2 isn't the best, so I set out to find an updated set of buds (a new toy) that match the best attributes of the Jaybirds, with better ANC. I tried all of the newest, latest and greatest with only the Active Jabra 7 Pro meeting the qualifications, then it occured to me that it's been a couple of years since I used Samsung buds, so I bought these today and after only a few minutes with them I WAS BLOWN AWAY!! They sounded good, but for a $230 set of earbuds (on sale for $199) NOT to have a customizable EQ but only offered 6 PRESETS was UNBELIEVABLE to me !! Even the inexpensive earbuds I buy for my grandkids have the ability to change the EQ settings. (I know that Android has an EQ but we all know that it doesn't work well as it lowers the volume when used.)WOW !! I can't believe that Samsung made such a great high-tech set of earbuds and then left out one of the most basic features that all earbuds, earphones, TVs and audio devices usually have, a customizable equalizer !! I'm still scratching my head over that HUGE omission.
These are some of the best Buds out, especially if you own other compatible Samsung products. I use these daily on the job site, and in the office since I work in IT, and frequently need to take calls and talk hands- free while working. The downloadable Samsung App also gives you so many options, such as notifying you when you have left your Buds behind, and will track and lead you to exact location of them. If you have lost them in a place such as a bed, or couch, or just set them down and can't remember where you left them, they have a noise chirp feature to help lead you to them. Also you can choose between noise cancellation, ambient sound, or both, so if someone is nearby trying to get your attention, they can automatically switch from noise cancellation so you can physically hear them. You can answer and end calls at the touch of the Bud, and the case not only is rechargable and waterproof as are the Buds, but will also charge your Buds when you place them in there. You can also use an equalizer to tone your favourite sounds to your music, and can also skip tracks, pause, or replay them by simply touching the Buds - just the same as answering phone calls. You can even set them to automatically end the call if no voice is heard after 5, 10, or 15 seconds. The battery life for both the Buds and Case lasts extremely long, and can be monitored as well within the app. They also come with a three year warranty if they are new- you just have to register them with Samsung on your account. Five stars hands down the best wireless earbuds I've ever owned! They are a bit more expensive, but you get the quality you pay for. They also have wireless charging capability, equalizers, neck stretch reminders, and so much more. I would also recommend keeping your ears clean since these Buds fit directly in your ears by way of silicone fittings. They come with several sizes of fittings for the perfect fit, and are very easy to change. I also would recommended getting an extra protective case to give them a bit of more protection. It's worth it. Wait until you hear, see, and feel the quality of these Buds and you'll never want any others.

When I first took out these small buds from the case, I was wondering - how good can the sound be out of something this small? I was shocked to hear both the depth and clarity that these little buds can put out. They're simply great and that was straight out of the box with no customization. There *are* earbuds that have better sound quality but that comes at a cost. For instance, the Sony XM4s (which many people including myself regard as having some of the best sound quality out there) are fantastic - but they're huge. They simply don't fit comfortably if you have smaller ears.Sound quality is one thing but comfort is another and I can wear these for hours on end - I barely notice them. They simply don't fit comfortably if you have smaller ears.Sound quality is one thing but comfort is another and I can wear these for hours on end - I barely notice them. When using them for running, for not having any additional wings or tips, they stayed in my ears surprisingly well and didn't budge. In regards to sweat, I had no issues with these and not worried about them with an IPX7 rating. The active noise cancellation is decent. I've heard (or not heard) better from other buds but these do a good job.The touch controls on each of the earbuds took a little getting used to due to the specific area you need to touch to get them to work. It's on the center and back of the bud and they don't register from the front of the earbud.Battery life is decent but not exceptional but the thing to consider is the size of these buds. I'd much prefer the lightweight comfort of these buds vs something larger with longer battery life. 8 hours of listening without ANC and 5 hours with ANC is plenty for me and the charging case provides a quick charge feature where you can get an hour of playback with just a 5-minute charge. And just like the buds, the case is svelte and easily pocketable.I used this with both my Android phone as well as my iPhone and they pair easily with both platforms. They also have a 24-bit high resolution audio mode, but, and this is a big but - that's only available if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone. These earbuds strike a nice balance between sound quality and comfort - highly recommended!
