The touch control on the Buds2 just takes a little time to get used to but once mastered the touch control on the Buds2 themselves works well. A great feature is the 360 audio. Providing absolutely superb surround sound when watching a film, the sound has great depth and takes you right into the film you are watching. The Galaxy Buds2 are a jam-packed piece of technology with a great wearability experience, easy to use and setup but most of all the sound quality is superb and has provided me with top quality performance on daily outings to walk the dog, sat at my desk working and being able to take calls or simply relaxing in the garden.

I've been a very loyal Samsung Customer for many years. I started getting hooked when I bought a 48 inch Samsung 720 DLP TV around 15 years ago, and the BOSE 3-2-1 system. Hands down, it had a better picture then most of the higher priced TVs that were on the Market, and the BOSE 3-2-1 was a perfect fit for the space I had in the basement, etc..... That TV lasted about 10 years before being sent out to pasture, and this fantastic hole in the wall shop in NJ, replaced it for $0, no questions asked , with a 50 inch Samsung Plasma thats still crystal clear, and I have to say, the picture is amazing to this day! My phones have always been a Galaxy, and every one of them were fantastic. Well, they've since went back to Best Buy because I'd still be waiting......Between the various models they've come out with to date, in regards to Buds, I feel they've just flooded a very competitive Market with.....sorry Samsung, Garbage!!! Samsung will always be at the top of My list for TVs, and Galaxy phones, but I'm so dissapointed with the Audio performance on all of there Headphone/Buds products they've put on the Market. The last product that pulled Me in goes all the way back to the Samsung Level, U, etc.....I feel they need to stop with the "Buds" all together, and put out a brand new Product, that will be an Audio experience they are definitely capable of bringing to the table. As a loyal Customer, I'll be the first in line, but please Samsung, no more "Buds"! They cant compete with so many great products from your Competitors, that are even under $100.00. I brought back the Galaxy Buds 2, and picked up the "Soundcore Life Dot 2 XR" Earbuds, and talk about a Diamond in the rough?? These things are blowing Me away, every time they're on Board for a Jam session! Wow!!

They are a great value for the price and have quickly become my go-to earbuds for daily use. In fact, I’ve already convinced a few of my co-workers and sister to get them and they love them!

I can see why the battery doesn't last long, with all of the features it offers, on top of the quality and volume capacity of them. They are easily the best wireless ear buds I've ever owned, and I got them for a great price of 80 dollars. I got them in a cool color, kinda a pale green, with this shinny, polished, and smooth exterior.

In order to sync the buds with your devices, you need to install the Samsung Wear app - this is quick to do and you are taken, step-by-step through setting up connections and learning the features of the buds. The app has a test to determine the fit of the buds in your ears but I found this delivered completely random results - without moving or adjusting the buds, I ran the test 3 times in a row and got 'good fit - left, poor fit - right'; 'good fit - left, good fit - right'; and 'poor fit - left, good fit - right'. But the other features are helpful - you can set either noise cancelling (this uses more battery) or 3 different levels of 'ambient noise' to allow you to hear your surroundings. I have mine set to allow medium ambient noise and I find this useful for when walking/running to hear traffic while still being able to have my phone's volume set at half (with my old Sony in-ear wired buds, the volume always had to be set high, above the safety warning zone!). You can also customize the 'tap' functions, for example, one tap to play or pause, two taps to answer and end calls, tap-hold to skip a track. You can't stray too far from your device and some things seem to momentarily disrupt the connection but overall I really like these buds

To control the buds you just need to tap them a varying numbers of times to pause, skip, rewind and answer calls or touch & hold to switch noise, voice command or volume (depending on your settings) or decline a call. Really wish I'd got these much sooner, so much better than my old earphones!

I'm certainly no audiophile, but listen to a lot of music, often with headphone/earphones, and to me these sound great. I have found other earbuds around this price to have too much bass, but these seem nicely balanced. I listen mostly to rock and acoustic and have found them well suited to both. The Bluetooth connection is also robust, with zero cutouts experienced in the few weeks I've been using them. On a less positive note you have the Galaxy Wearable app, which is required to access many of the earbud's features. Before you can even use the app, you have to seemingly give it access to your entire phone and all of your personal details. The following are some of the permissions required just to open the app: access your location, make and manage phone calls, read your calendar, read your SMS, view your call logs. I understand that these are required to use some of the assistant features, but these should all be optional if you just wish to use these as earphones. Once you're in the app works fine, you're able to change the noise cancelling, touch controls, equaliser presets and some other settings. Overall a great looking, great sounding pair of earbuds with good battery life for their size.

And if you're scared to buy these and want to go with a cheaper option for fear of losing them...here's good news...if you leave them somewhere (or somebody takes them, lets be honest, people stink), the SmartThings Find app will find them anywhere even if theyre dead or turned off...if (and here's where i mention one of the only two knocks i have on these) they're out of the case/the case is open. Because the Find app wont be able to find them if theyre in the case and its closed. The other knock is lack of extra rubber tips for the earbuds, but they're not needed really. My ears are small but they stayed during my 16 hour shifts this weekend. The battery life is possibly better than advertised. I was able to get thru my 16 hour shifts and only needed to charger them once during the shift, and they're still alive now. I heard notes and bass that I never heard before...in songs I've listened to for years, with different beans, headphones and even speakers. These headphones are the best ones I have ever purchased, one of the best gifts to myself ever.

When it comes to the quality of listening to music, I switched from Pioneer sports headphones to these and there is a big difference, I mainly feel it in the bass of which there is an appropriate amount, but if we want to use the application, we can increase this number. The sound from the head phones is great and I love that you can have active noise cancelling or ambient sound. The active noise cancelling is amazing and when I am in the office works wonders if I need to block out background noise and focus. I found that the ear buds did fall out on occasion and I think this may be my ears, compared to other wireless head phones I have tried, I did find that they stayed in place quite well. Also the touch controls are not buttons and cover the whole surface, so if you touch or knock the bud in your ear, it stops the music etc when I didn't intend to, but the touch controls can be turned off if preferred and I figured out after a while how to touch them without setting off the controls so much. I also noticed that sometimes the earbuds didn't turn on when I took them out of the case and I had to select them on the phone, not figured out why and that could be user error. Also, where the buds create a seal I do find it feels like I can hear inside my head, like if I had blocked ears, which I am not a fan of, but I think that is the same for any in ear head phones I use and is may not bother other people. All in all, I would say they are light, comfortable and well designed. If you are looking for something for the gym or running you might prefer the head phones with wings to keep them in place. In terms of value for money, if they last a long time, I think they are probably worth the investment.
