Samsung Galaxy Watch R810 (42mm Bluetooth) Rose Gold

One morning in early September, it was a delivered. A beautifully boxed silver Samsung Galaxy Watch3 4G (45mm), a surprise present from my daughter in Australia. It was replacing my rather old by reliable Gear S2 smartwatch which I have had for many years. Simply put, it is a gorgeous looking piece of time kit which exudes outstanding built-in quality and technological machismo. I am over 60, so my technical nous can be questionable, but, let me say that this time piece has some really cool features which put a wry smile on the face of technical dinosaurs like me. It was replacing my rather old by reliable Gear S2 smartwatch which I have had for many years. Simply put, it is a gorgeous looking piece of time kit which exudes outstanding built-in quality and technological machismo. I am over 60, so my technical nous can be questionable, but, let me say that this time piece has some really cool features which put a wry smile on the face of technical dinosaurs like me. I will not say much about the rotating bezel as I am already familiar with that from my Gear days. Nor will I say anything about the twin operating buttons – also on the S2. What is really uplifting is the funky stuff Samsung have added. Stuff like the 4G capability to make and receive calls without your mobile phone. And the SOS feature which detects when you fall suddenly (or which you manually activate with a few clicks of a button) and sends a distress message to your designated contacts. And the ability to control your phone camera from your wrist, or to change colours of the watch face to match your attire or using your watch surface is a trackpad or cursor. I can just imagine mesmerising clients with a PowerPoint presentation operated from my wrist watch. Except I am not sure that I would have the courage for such chutzpah! But the feature is there should I ever feel adventurous and uninhibited. The watch feels so comfortable on the wrist that you have to make an effort to remember that it is actually there. I have not taken it off since I received it except to charge it. During sleep, it automatically monitors my sleep patterns and it has many other great health features. With this bulging bag of tricks one would almost be forgiven for overlooking the watch’s most obvious feature – it also tells time

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this watch. At the time, I had a Google Pixel 3XL, then upgraded to the Pixel 6XL. During the time I had it, I thought it performed fantastic. I used the workout function frequently, as I train frequently. The temp, weather, calendar, and even the time telling feature. Heh. I love the rotating bezel .. I think it brings an elegance that the other players don't have .. It's actually sad to me that the new generation no longer has this. I don't think there is anything I would necessarily change about it .. I think for the price point, this is a winner. I only recently switched (for reasons that were not necessarily "I want to") to apple, and have the Ultra Apple watch. I've purchased over 10 of these watches, and these last three from this company at Walmart have been the absolute best. These watches are updated and include the Standalone phone option which is huge. They cleared out all the bugs and added updates and upgrades. I purchased three from this company and all but one have worked Superior. The one I returned something was wrong with the charger and I'm getting it replaced I purchased the same watch last year from Amazon it was almost $500. I returned it oh, because it didn't have a standalone phone option. This year I purchased another from Samsung that did have the Standalone phone option oh, but it kept overheating and wouldn't allow me to speak on the phone except for 5 minutes or less. I purchased two because they were just over $100 and I thought I had nothing to lose by purchasing them with a 90-day guarantee from the manufacturer and then purchasing for only $18 the Walmart extended warranty for 3 years. I am super excited and pleased with my purchase. Not only that save money but the watch is souped up and has all the bugs cleared and I can literally talk from the phone on the watch with no problems. It only cost me about $10 extra a month to have the Standalone phone option added Verizon Wireless account. I'll actually operating the phone from the vr30 and I can imagine that it would work even better with a Samsung Galaxy phone. I'm not really really interested in purchasing the phone right now but for right now I'm loving these watches. My friends have also ordered them and they work very well. If you have an issue, the manufacturer is very very responsive and Walmart also backs its warranty that they sell for $18. You have an awesome watch the gain and absolutely nothing to lose.

PROBLEM!........SOLVED!!

I got this watch and it was just not working well AT ALL. The screen was glitchy, sometimes it would revert back to the menu for no reason- I knew it wasn't working properly. So what did I do? CALLED SAMSUNG (which I implore EVERYONE to do if u have issues)! They tried a couple of things with me over the phone to no avail. After giving them the serial number they told me that the watch was still under warranty and they sent me a brand-new sparkling perfect watch. I've had it now for a few years AND I LOVE IT. Mine was black but if u go 2 Amazon u can find a ton of accessories. I got a silver metal band, a cover for the face that makes it look silver, and a silver ring for the watch face.
