At times there is a very small amount of adjusting which can be done with through the simple interface.At full size it really does fill walls with around 8 ft horizontally covered, if not slightly more.We have watched a range of films and streaming on it and for the most part it has been really impressive. It is always much better in a totally dark room as light is it’s biggest problem. If you do watch in a dark room it really stands out, the colours are great and it also offers several picture modes including dynamic which punches the colours up and increases contrast. It also have Movie which is a flatter profile but generally better for most films otherwise they can look a bit over-processed on the dynamic setting.The sound from such a small device is really a standout feature, even on low volumes it can clearly be heard. Push the volume up and it fills the room. This is not to compare to a dedicated speaker but it is comparable for most modern TV’s and considering it’s compact form it is really impressive.For anyone who has friends or family over, or simply enjoys watching immersive content, it really is a great way to do it, plus it offers the portability.

I was on the fence about buying the Freestyle; on one hand I wanted the Samsung UI and simple TV like menu access (especially Netflix, which a number of other projector manufacturers don't actually feature, even though they say they do - they've not paid the licencing fee and the app will NOT work on them - you've been warned!), but I was equally worried by the poor reviews on keystone and focus adjustability and light output. The automatic keystone and focusing are best turned off in my opinion; it's a little more cumbersome setting these manually, but at least they don't then go automatically adjusting themselves at random as has been my experience. I was blown away by how compact the projector really is. Once in the case, it fits nicely into my day bag and is no bigger than a thermos. The case is solid and tough with an overall durable finish. My only criticism of the carry case is that it does not have a pocket or area to store the remote when travelling. The picture quality is really good, nice and bright, even in daylight or with lamp(s) on in the room. And all you have to do is point it at the surface and the projector auto-corrects the picture to the right shape. This is a major advantage over previous projectors I've had where you have to mess about with various settings to get the right shape and size of image.I am also a great Samsung fan and the projector fits nicely into my setup. I have a Samsung soundbar with my TV and the projector connects no problem. I cant tell you how much the portability and streaming quality has changed my life. Now, whilst getting in some steps on my walking map, i can continue my gaming sessions by projecting onto the wall in front of me and playing with my bluetooth enabled controller of choice. The Freestyle treats your controller like a remote as well so you can hop from your gaming session, to a video streaming service of your choice or access any other setting.The auto keystone and focus settings are surprisingly quick and allow you to move the projector around without having to manually adjust settings to level and ensure the picture is square on the surface you are projecting onto. This of course is something that will be even better when using the freestyle using an external battery (which i havent done) but when going from projecting onto my wall onto my ceiling it would take not more than 3 seconds to correct itself and choose the best settings. I can of course manually set the size of the screen and move the actual projection area to better suit the surface im projecting onto. e.g to miss out weird outcroppings or ensure its not projecting onto my chest of drawers.Overall i enjoy the freestyle and the only thing i would change is the mini hdmi port. A USB C port would have opened up a lot more options now and into the future, though with access to so many apps the limited connection options can be forgiven in my opinion.

Every now and then if you focus, however, you can spot some pixels, even within the 100" range that is supposed to yield a finer resolution. You also need to keep in mind the projector is not the brightest one, which means you will only get a very clear image in a completely dark room. Even a small night lamp might make it a bit unpleasant, so you need to prepare for a cinema-like conditions to be created before each film session.I also appreciate the smart TV hub that allows to navigate between all the apps that I use frequently in a convenient manner. What I found an ingenious solution is the option to use the Smart Things app to type in whatever you need in the search engine of the internet or streaming service, which makes the process of looking for whatever you need quicker along with a pilot that facilitates moving the cursor in all directions, not just up-down and right-left. Unfortunately, I've encountered many situations in which the basic internet pages got stuck when I clicked on their options/features too abruptly and a few situations in which this happened despite my efforts to proceed very slowly. If you plan on using a service that cannot be installed as an app and must be accessed via internet frequently, you should prepare for some struggles, potentially serious ones.Last thing that I'm missing for a complete experience is an official case that would fit the battery and all the accessories on top of the projector. As far as I know, nothing like that has been released which is a shame as it would allow for more safe, convenient and elegant transportation of the device.All in all, I'd definitely recommend the Freestyle 2nd Generation to any home cinema enjoyer. The device has an abundance of features that make using it almost as easy as turning on a TV, except for the fact you can take it anywhere in the world (I've already taken it to two other countries by plane and it fit into hand luggage without any problem - portability is indeed one of its main assets). After spending some time with it, I've noticed a handful of minor issues that fade in comparison with the device's main advantages.

Also smart fridge and matching laundry devices.I thought, The Freestyle gen 2 projector would be another excellent product to have.. how wrong could I have been!What a load of rubbish!! Forget about ever using the auto focusing or key-strokes… useless and doesn’t ever work correctly… auto focus similar, mediocre at best. Best quality….. 1975 CRT in black & white is the most accurate description. It’s so bad, I’m actually going to throw it in a skip. I strongly advise that nobody should purchase this product !! Much better out there and at a far lower cost. Also, I purchased the extra battery pack at a cost of nearly £200, again just a gimmick and an insulting joke by Samsung.Very very disappointed
