It is sharp and very well corrected for spherical aberration. Great for architecture, wedding videography, landscapes and astro. All metal but in a relatively small package - it doesn't stick out too much and easy to balance on a steady cam. So far no problems with the coating. Manual focusing is not a problem in this focal range - for video just set it to 1.5m and 95% of the objects near and far are in focus.

I've owned a few Samyang lenses and all except this one have been good. My copy of the Samyang 10mm T3.1 will give an acceptable image in the centre but the outer 2/3rds are a blurry mess with large amounts of CA. It's probably just a (very) bad copy but something this bad should never have gotten through quality control.

All metal but in a relatively small package - it doesn't stick out too much and easy to balance on a steady cam. So far no problems with the coating. Manual focusing is not a problem in this focal range - for video just set it to 1.5m and 95% of the objects near and far are in focus.
