We're living in the Blue Mountains with a nice wood-heater but which is at one end of the house. I bought this hoping it would help to distribute the warm air and it seems to be working - if you put your hand in front, it doesn't seem to be blowing much, but the other rooms are definitely warmer since starting it up. Very easy to set up - (1) take out of box (2) put on stove. That's it. Runs completely quietly. I'm going to install a second one to increase the effectiveness.
