Base is also narrower than most pots of this capacity, which means the higher side require you to lean more over the pot with raised elbow to attend to what's inside. Handles can also get rather hot so keep your mittens handy with this one.

Beautiful stock pot, not too heavy, easy to clean and heats quickly
The Dutch Oven heats up quickly and retains the heat well, thus low heat setting on stove element. Good size and quality. Handles do not overly hot.
This pot has five ply 18/10 stainless steel construction with copper core and aluminum alloy up to the rim of pot according to the infor on the Scanpan Axis box. I can sear large quantity of meat without juices coming out from the meat, then stew on low meat. It has 2823 grams without lid. It has better value, it is much heavier and thicker than All Clad d5 5 ply construction with copper core.
I bought this a couple of months ago and I love it. It cooks really well and is so easy to clean, I just soak it whilst having dinner then hand wash and any baked on foods comes straight off, no need to scrub. Very good quality pan. I have bought many items from Everten over the last 6 years or so and have never had any problems. Thank you Everten.

Great pot but came with a few imperfections and I find it hard to clean
