It is a clean, fresh and delightful design with enough depth & space to toss a freshly cooked pasta, an oriental or English omelet, fried or just or scrambled eggs for breakfast or a veal scallopini! This great stainless steel stylish pan looks smart in my new kitchen especially on my new black ceramic hob. I was given a quick lesson to use it ‘properly’ so now my food cooks well without getting stuck to the pan - what a relief! Besides, it’s the perfect weight too so I love cooking in my new Scanpan frying pan. I highly recommend this Scanpan frying pan as I feel confident that it is safe and chemical free cooking.

Very good product that is currently used in many tafe colleges in Victoria. Thick base heats up quickly and even heat. Easy to clean no toxic chemicals. Should last me a lifetime. Purchased the 28cm also as was very happy with the 20cm one. Good vertical depth to toss food

Excellent quality pan

Love this pan so much! Ive been looking for a safer and non-stick pan for a long time! Finally decided on this one, it was a great purchase. If you read and follow the instructions, it will be non-stick. If you add in your food too fast without heating the pan fast, the food will be stucked. It only takes few mins to heat up on my very old and slow to warm up stove. Washing is very easy.

Fantastic Frypan

I have wanted a stainless steel frypan for a long time so I could move away from away from Teflon pans and toward a much healthier way of cooking. I bought my Scanpan Impact pan a month ago and have used it every day since! I couldn’t be happier. As long as you follow the instructions for heating before cooking and how to clean it afterward, you won’t have a problem with food sticking. The 28cm pan is a perfect to cook a meal for a couple of people. It’s not too heavy to lift and the handle doesn’t heat up when cooking. The curved lip makes for mess free pouring too.

Great for daily use

I'm trying to avoid non-stick cookware, so bought this for daily use. It worked great only after I learned how to heat it up properly: pre-heat until 1/8 tsp of water rolls around the whole pan like a skittish ball without boiling. It took longer than I thought. Then start cooking. If you are careful with a small amount of oil and going straight to lower heat (and careful to make sure the entire pan is warm enough) I even learned I could fry eggs!

Scanpan 20cm Fry pan.

Perfect size when cooking for one or making an omelette. I am very happy to have returned to stainless steel after using a number of non stick frypans. Everything cooks beautifully on a low to medium heat, and providing the heat is right, when added the food does not stick. I feel I have more control over temperature and are getting some great results with this pan. Corn fritters in particular have been excellent, with a beautiful golden brown colour but still cooked through. The only downside is the recommendation to clean using gumption, so some elbow grease is required. The pan is dishwasher safe.

Scanpan 26cm Stainless Frypan

I was very dubious about using stainless frypans. After much thought and discussion I decided to try one. I am now converted. If you follow the directions on how to use, it cooks beautifully. Gives a delicious crust to the food you cook. Also very easy to clean either hand wash or in the dishwasher.Great fry pans!

Standard Stainless Steel Frying Pan

This is just a standard stainless steel frying pan in which I bought on sale.Upon first use, it heated up quickly and evenly and cooked my fried egg perfectly.It gave an even browning on the bottom of the egg which was nice.I love that it's quite light compared to the stainless steel frying pans with the added metal layer on the external bottom.I can see us using this frying pan for years to come and will definitely recommend Scan Pan.

Will be getting more from this product line

Fantastic and easy to clean. Ever since discovering I can clean the stainless steel pans with just hot water and steel wool (not the fine pads but the steel wool ball) I have been replacing my non-stick cookware with stainless steel. I had the 28cm pan for about a year but didn't know that steel wool was the best way to clean it until recently. Once I got the 28cm pan clean again I bought the 20cm pan almost immediately.
