Extremely compact and ultra-light: With the Airlite Towel towel you are perfectly equipped for all your outdoor activities and especially for multi-day tours. Of course, you can also use the microfiber towel in everyday life. It convinces not only by its minimal weight, but also by its absorption capacity, as it can absorb three times its weight in liquid. It is also very fast drying. It has an elongated cut, so you can also use it as a neck guard or bandana in hot weather. Thanks to the lint-free material, the microfiber towel is also suitable as a dish towel. The towel is connected to the nylon pack sack by a snap, the connecting loop can also be used to hang up the towel.

I bought two of these towels for a camping trip in Scotland with my partner. They are so tiny (stuff into a tiny sack they come with) and were perfect for our carry on luggage as they took up no space at all (I bough the size large). A huge selling feature for me was that it was made of mostly recycled materials (bonus!) I opened the towel up before we left and thought that there was no way this thin thing could work to dry you off after a shower, but I was so wrong. I truly cannot believe how well this towel works. While we were camping, it looked completely soaked after only drying off my face and arms (and I thought it wouldn't work on the rest of me), but even wet, this towel will continue to absorb more! It even dried my medium length hair after my body was fully dried off. I hung it on the camper van to dry, and it was ready to be packed away again within the hour. I don't know how you did it, but this towel is simply amazing and I can't wait to take it on another trip!

VERY light weight, which is what I was looking for, but the consequence is that there's just not enough "stuff" to soak up water. This is not any defect on the part of the towel - it's just the compromise between weight and function. I have the "hand size" which was inadequate to dry a post-swim body + medium length hair. Wringing to enable further drying was pretty ineffective. I would still purchase this - just need to lower my expectations for what a "UL" towel can accomplish. Bonus - it really IS light/thin enough to use as a sun-protecting scarf or head-wrap.

This is a great towel. It packs down into a small package but has superb capacity to dry things. I have used it to dry my feet when crossing streams and dry the floor of my tent when I had to set it up in the rain. It wrings out well for continued use and drys quickly.

Packs smaller than the inflatable Aeros pillow, can easily fit inside any toiletries travel kit, is a little smaller than the same size Drylite towel, and very light weight. The first couple times I felt like I had to wring it out half way but it seems to get better with use and after a wash/dry cycle. Since it's somewhat "sticky" when you try to dry it's hard to pat yourself dry like a regular towel, I think the strategy is to let it roll and ball up to dry yourself off. Then wring it at the end to increase the already fast dry time. Normally I don't bring a towel camping, unless I am car camping or just traveling and will be taking showers. This is great for a carry on bag, and then a drylite towel in checked luggage when you get to your destination.
I like the colour and size options for this product. I especially like the compact nature and light weight packability. The towel material is flimsy and I doubted it's ability to dry very well. It's ok and gets basic drying needs met. It's not beach towel but for back up, and just having something on hand, it's fine. I don't typically like the feel of polyester and thought (well, hoped) it might be softer. It's a fairly tight weave so the fabric doesn't snag on my hands like some micro cloths do. I'm willing to try it. Would be tempted to go a bit bigger, this medium size will require some wringing and patchy drying for long hair and after swim / shower use. Will also have to keep a tight hold on it for windy days at the ocean!
When this towel arrived, I was dumbfounded - how could such a small package hold a towel that will be useful ? Throwing caution to the wind, I brought it as my only towel on a weekend camping trip. It was perfect, the thin material managing to hold on to enough water in order to dry out a big hairy dude, and then drying out in a few hours in the sun. Do mind the size though - these are not your typical towel size, and you should go XL if you want anything more than something to dry yourself after a shower.
I bought this towel on a bit of a whim, just the small size. I've never regretted having it and have used it for so many things. I've used it to wipe out my mug when I backpack, I've used it to hold ice to a burn, I've used it for washing myself, drying my hands off, wiping condensation or rain off my tent... Basically anything you can think of to use a small towel for, it's awesome. It washes very well, dries super fast and I have people commenting all the time how cute the little stuff sack is that it comes in, ha ha! (But seriously, so packable). The only issue is you have to keep the stuff sack in your pocket when it's not packed or you'll lose the little sucker! The towel does snap to it though for easy hanging! It's also very durable. I primarily keep it in my food pack now, but I think I will be adding another one or two in different colors to my standard equipment this year, they're so darn useful.
Love love love. I bought the XL for myself and my husband. I was skeptical at first because they didn't look or feel like they'd dry a dinner plate after being washed. BUT they worked amazingly. Dried my whole body and didn't leave my crazy curly hair a sopping wet mess. After, we hung them up at camp and they dried quickly. They pack down small and they're incredibly light. Well worth the cost and I intend to purchase more for gifts for other campers in my life.
This is a great little towel. I rolls up to the size of a lemon and will dry me completely. Dries fast too. A great product that does what it says it will do. I can't attest to durability because I just got it this week, but it seems well-made and Sea to Summit is known for its well thought out designs and quality materials.
This product packs super small, which is nice, even though it was the largest towel of its kind. It dried super-fast- could hang it in the Jeep with windows closed and it dried super-fast. It was large enough for a 6'4" man (who is pretty lean), and in a normal camping environment with a light breeze, it seemed to be dry in an hour. This product will definitely replace my MSR camp towel, which is way bulkier but yet has a smaller footprint. The fabric is weird and takes a bit of getting used to. It is so light that it feels like it's going to tear, but it's sturdy enough. I almost like the pocket towel fabric better, but like the lightness of the airlight. It's certainly a trade-off.
