Sea To Summit Big River Dry Bag - Super strong and abrasion resistant, this non-PVC mid-weight dry bag has space saving low profile Hypalon lash loops on the sides for secure stacking and a roll-resistant oval shape. A great choice for rugged water sports like kayaking, canoeing and rafting. Suitable to keep contents dry in any wet situation where the bag is not submerged. TPU laminated fabric with 10,000 mm waterhead Super strong and abrasion resistant 420 D nylon fabric Waterproof, double stitched, reinforced, tape sealed seams Hypalon lash loops for secure attachment or stacking Waterproof Hypalon roll top closure does not wick moisture Space saving, low profile, streamlined shape Oval base resists rolling - stays where you put it Proper Use: Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can't get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle. Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric. Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be 'double bagged' (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered. Not intended for situations where dry sack will be submerged under water.

First experience with a lighter weight & material dry bag. Still looks new and shows no wear after 15 days of sup'ing on the river. Seems like the bag will last a while.

I've owned a number of different types and brands of dry bags over the years, and slowly have swapped them all out for Big River bags in different sizes (65L, 35L, 20L, 13L, 5L). The lash-loops are great for securing them to a kayak or raft, they're lightweight yet super durable, and they've kept all of my gear dry on hundreds of miles of long-distance river trips without fail including after being exposed to hours or rain, rapids, even completely submerged... unexpected capsizes... they happen. They are more expensive than other options available, but well worth it. Highly recommend!!

Solid construction and quality as expected from Sea to Summit. Side tabs are nice bonus feature. Haven't submerged the bag so I can't speak to that from experience, but it has kept contents dry from generous splashes and rain, so I'm confident it could take a quick canoe tip like a champ. 35L fits my small tent, sleeping pad, and sleeping bag with a bit of room to spare.
Nice bag for multi day trips to keep you stuff dry. I prefer the duffle type dry bags to these roll type nowadays.
Bought this to pack our tent and sleeping pads on multi day IK trips. It kept everything dry after a wrap and flip in the rapids! I am very happy with this bag!
My last StS dry bag was very heavy duty, used it for 15 years before anything started getting damp. This one -first time out in our raft-everything wet on the first run. NOT impressed! Good to put in your kayak dry hatch is all.
I was looking for a heavy duty dry bag for kayaking use and was happy that I tried this one. Others I had seen were too light weight and flimsy. I love the 5L size, the material at the fold/seal, and the rings for tying to the bag and securing to my boat. Perfect for my use and would buy again!
Accidents happen when you least expect it - like capsizing in calm water trying to get into a kayak! I got this for a more dramatic use case - but hey, I'm glad I had it for a dumb accident as well! Everything stayed nice and dry.
This is the 1 bag that goes on every paddle. While lighter weight fabrics are great for packing for multi day trips, I got this heavy duty bag to keep my keys, wallet , phone and a few incidentals that go on every paddle, so I need a bag that stands up to the continuous use.
