A less expensive and less bulky alternative to traditional dry bags. You can squash these into spots ordinary heavy dry bags won't go. Fits into little corners of a sea kayak or light enough to take backpacking or adventure traveling. Suitable to keep contents dry in any wet situation where the bag is not submerged. PRODUCT DETAILS Lightweight 70D nylon with fully taped seams 10,000mm waterhead, lightweight durable nylon Polyurethane coating with white pigment for greater interior visibility Hypalon roll top closure D-ring attachment point at buckle Round base on all sizes Use backpacking, cycle touring, paddling, general boating Proper Use Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can't get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle. Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric. Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be 'double bagged' (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered. Not intended for situations where dry sack will be submerged under water.

I use every size if these dry sacks…backpacking in the mountains, rafting/fishing western rivers, kayaking the Everglades. Never ripped one!

Serves its function perfectly - keeps things dry without fuss, packs down tiny, what more could you ask for? The only downside is how thin the material is, so I'm a little worried that it could catch and rip, but that doesn't matter much when its getting chucked in a pack or going on an easy paddling trip. I grabbed both the 1L and 4L that I use constantly when kayaking and just opt for a thicker material for climbing/camping.

On a backpacking adventure a good drybag (or two) is a MUST peace of gear to protect your sleeping bag or down clothes from moisture. This specific one is very reliable and never let me down. All you need is selecting the appropriate volume

It’s everything a dry bag should be. This is the happy medium of the three levels of dry bags offered by sea to summit. good mix of weight and durability.
I purchased this bag a couple of weeks ago, and have used it during my four-hour weekly kayak rides. It is big enough that it holds everything I take with me, including safety equipment, water and other necessities. It is waterproof and keeps everything nice and dry.
Sea To Summit makes great dry bags. I have every size from 4 liters up to 30 liters. They're equally suited for extended canoe tripping or short days on the water.
This is a nice quality, lightweight dry sack. The one liter size is very small as you would expect. It can close with two folds and hold an IPhone 11, but that’s a tight fit. Also, the directions clearly show it requires three folds for a proper, dry closure. I would say that if you are looking to carry a larger phone be sure to find the two liter size bag. I will likely use this for snacks in my kayak. Glad I purchased it.
Purchased the 1L to hold my phone and keys when kayaking. They both fit, although just barely. I can't envision it holding much else other than very small personal items such as those. The material is a bit thin, however I'm not too concerned about that when going on a paddling excursion. Overall, solid dry bag. No complaints.
This sack stays compact if not needed, has seemingly durable buckles, and seems to be very durable material. This is from first impressions at this point. I’ll actually be using it to pack out a boned out deer or hog, but haven’t had the chance for that yet. I will update at that point.
I bought this and it arrived a week ago, the bag is a nice bag. The only reason I'm leaving a review is to warn those who buy one. Once you receive your bag make sure to check it has the screws on the buckle nicely tightened.
